People in Iraq are winning the campaign in Iraq...
And that's exactly what the Democrats are afraid of. Evidently the Democrats plan to build allies is to abandon those who need us and to curry favor with those who want to destroy us.
You know Neocon one day in the future (near or far) were going to look back and see an Iraq where it is safe to take a vacation to and not have to worry about things cause regardless of the type of government you have Freedom is a scary thing once people have it they will die to protect it and keep it.
This is the simple concept that the Democrats fail to see due to the fact they are doing their dead level best to take ours away.
always remember the quote I heard years ago:
One man fighting for his home is worth 10 hired soldiers.
Michael,
We dropped two A-Bombs on Japan killing hundreds of thousands of people. Today, Japan is a free country and one of our staunchest allies.
I agree with you on Iraq. America will again prevail in a difficult struggle.
You know Neocon one day in the future (near or far) were going to look back and see an Iraq where it is safe to take a vacation to
I recently went on vacation in Croatia, which was a war zone back in the early 90's, which just shows you how things can change.
The posts from our resident liberals are, for some reason, missing from this thread.
hmmmm.........
I guess it's a little embarrassing when foreigners have a deeper appreciation for this country than they do.
It's encouraging to see the sovereign Iraqi government take a stand such as this...

My prayers are with the Iraqi people who have suffered greatly.
I believe, and will continue to believe that the Bush administration, assisted by the State department cares nothing, (that's right, I said nothing) about the Iraqi people.
We are there for the oil. Everyone knows it. You will deny and diffuse the obvious, but the WORLD knows it. Your continual insistence that the government of the United States of America cares about the Iraqi people is naive and simply unbelievable.
I believe the people of America care about the Iraqi people. I believe that given information and options we can deal with the energy crisis benefiting the U.S. and Iraq.
So, it looks like very shortly we may have confrontations between mercenary groups and our Iraqi friends. Who's side will the U.S. choose?
I have no doubt.
Agent,
Thanks for the link. This is fantastic news. Obviously the much liberally-maligned Iraqi government is becoming very much in power.
Weren't the liberals saying just a few weeks ago that the Iraqi government was falling apart. Your post, and new source of whining, disproves that assertion.
We are there for the oil. Everyone knows it.
That's a five year old talking point Agent. You're becoming desperate.
We are there for the oil. Everyone knows it.

I get so tired of that old mantra of the left I want to give you the real deal here we don't import that much oil from Iraq you fool.
In fact in the scheme of things we import very little from there. I mean if we want the oil from a country why not invade Canada we get almost 5 times the oil from there as we do from Iraq.
Get a new line please and come back once you have read that report.
God bless the Iraqi people, God bless our brave soldiers, God bless the United States of America and God bless President George W. Bush, the greatest president in american history.
Michael,
You sad little naive runtling. Just writing this proves that.
I mean if we want the oil from a country why not invade Canada we get almost 5 times the oil from there as we do from Iraq.
That statement is so sad, I could laugh in the irony. But, it's not funny.
Wake up.
James,
Thanks, now put your head back in the hole.
I mean if we want the oil from a country why not invade Canada we get almost 5 times the oil from there as we do from Iraq.

You shouldn't dismiss the idea of a 'shock & awe' invasion of Canada so fast, Michael. Several B4B posters have already put forth that thought.
Not only does Canada have the oil you want but we also have abundant water and natural resources. If our Conservative government is ever defeated and we once again become a dreaded liberal-led nation, perhaps y'all could use the excuse of saving us from a Socialist hell by bringing us an American right-wing Christian utopia. All in the name of Jesus, of course.
Man you all are out of the room in debate are you not?.....I posted that for example not to say I want to invade Canada.
Agent and CO you didn't read my link did you?....Just blast into a personal attack and rant about something your afraid to even look at as it might show your actually wrong. If you want to have a debate lets do it, if you want to personal attack sorry I wont bite.
Have a wonderful blessed day.
It's not about oil 'cause we don't import that much from Iraq? That's what you base your view on?
Maybe you need to look at Iraqi reserves and then factor in whether control of those reserves might have something to do with it.
To focus on imports as oppose to oil reserves is sort of missing the big picture.
Its a shame some of the mental here do not see the big picture.
The poor Iraqi people. All the art, all the history, the literature. Gone. Yes, all in the name of Jesus.
Thanks T. Great stuff CO.
All in the name of Jesus.
Sigh.
The highly delusional Loony Left strikes again, as usual using AngentSilly as a conduit for its laughably loony rants.
These guys are soooo predictable.
In a spate of channel surfing a few weeks ago I spent a few excruciating moments watching Candice Bergen, as an attorney on Boston Legal, earnestly explaining "what we all know"---which in this case was that WE ALL KNOW that oil companies would never promote research into alternative energy sources.
However, when a technology was developed which was elegantly described as "Oil From Turkey Guts" and the radicals started 'splaining that the oil companies would squash THAT effort in a heartbeat, it came out that, as oil companies make most of their money from refining oil and selling fuel, they would LOVE to have a cheaper source of better quality light pure crude, and in fact are cheering it on.
The first thing to learn in politics is that what the Left KNOWS is simply not true. Once that truth is established, the rest is easy.
Remember, RolyPoly O'Donnell KNOWS that fire simply does not melt steel........ And so on....
Its a shame some of the mental here do not see the big picture.

(by the way, Almiranta, get over yourself. That was an "excruciating" nonsensical rant. You've done better squashing using your extreme mental powers. I've come to expect more.)
Sarcasm off-
