I don't think I have ever seen a politician who hasn't politicized this war. Clearly the Republicans have done it "if you question the war you are comforting the enemy", etc.. Clearly the Democrats have done it as the war has become increasingly less popular they have used it as a platform for 2008.

I am not sure why people feel like because they typically vote as a member of a particular party they feel they have to defend people for the stupidity of their actions. Why defend Rush when he clearly called soldiers who disagree with the war phony. Why defend Ann Coulter when she clearly said that Jews need to be "perfected" into Christians. Why defend Reed and Pelosi as they continue to setup for 2008 while doing nothing substantial about ending the war?

Less than two minutes after uttering the words "phony soldiers," Limbaugh elaborated on the subject, explaining exactly what he meant by the term. He named one Jesse Macbeth as an example of a phony soldier. Macbeth had become an overnight darling of the far left, a self-described Iraq war veteran and Purple Heart ... denouncing American military atrocities he'd witnessed.

Except he was never awarded a Purple Heart. He was never in Iraq. In fact, he was never in the military, period. He was tossed out of boot camp after four months. Macbeth is now in prison serving a five-month term for falsifying Army records and applying falsely for veterans' benefits. Limbaugh was right.

Limbaugh also pointed out that he wasn't the first to discuss the Macbeth phony soldier story. Brian Ross had filed a report on this man several nights before, on ABC's "World News." Ross even used the term "phony soldier" — and not a soul on the left found fault with that.

So the left returned with another charge: Limbaugh had used the plural, "phony soldiers," therefore Limbaugh's sole example — Macbeth — was inadequate.

So are there any other "phony soldiers" out there? Jeffrey Sullivan, the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington, thinks so. Besides prosecuting Macbeth, he's prosecuted another five "phony soldiers." Jim O'Neill, the assistant inspector general for investigations at the Veterans Administration, confirms that the federal government is presently conducting another 60 such "stolen valor" cases. Rush was right, in spades.

Rush Limbaugh is one of the biggest supporters of America's real soldiers and one of (if not the) most popular programs on Armed Forces Network!

NO ONE has said that, you silly silly twit. You can question the war all you want to. But revealing top secret information in the NYT, information on how we gather intelligence on terrorists, enabling them to elude our surveillance, IS aiding the enemy, if not exacly comforting him. Going abroad and giving interviews on how America is torturing prisoners, when we are not, or that Bush lied when he certainly did not, is providing both aid and comfort to the enemy. And so on.

Only the most determinedly simple minded of the radical Left can confabulate actually giving helpful information to the enemy with merely "questioning" the war.

Jo, millions of Americans know the Clintons are not what they pretend to be, and if Hillary does get the nomination I can guarantee that facts about the Clintons will become public. The radical Left whines, shrieks, moans, and protests that every fact published about the Clintons is a "witch hunt" or based on sexual prudery or some other thing to try to deflect attention away from the sheer criminality of this couple, but facts is facts, and there are plenty of them. There is just no reason to get into that now. Hillary has NOT been anointed as the Queen of the Dems, not yet anyway, so there is no reason to get all bothered about her history. So far she is just New York's problem.

As for the Liberal"Mind", well, misstating ones' qualifications is not a crime, so he can claim to have a mind all he wants to. Proof to the contrary: His fawning over mack for lying---yes, not simply misstating or erroneously stating but LYING---when he said Rush Limbaugh 'bad-mouthed American troops'. Now, given mack's long and disgraceful history of being wrong on absolutely everything, there is the possibility that he might even believe this, but as the transcripts are out there, as well as the actual recording of the words in question, I doubt it. I think he knows it is a lie but just loves the taste of it in his mouth. And "Mind"s fawning suggests he loves the taste of something else .......

Appreciate your comment, but my reasons for what should be 'out there for all now', is to have time
for this to be digested with regard to the Clinton
Machine. It sometimes happens that someone like Hillary gathering momentum, keeps getting the high
poll numbers, and she is 'assumed to be the Queen'
in waiting. Sometimes then the whole thing snow-balls, and people are afraid to bring up any other
issues or facts, because "well, she can counter all the right wing slings and arrows, because she
hasn't been confronted early on and she keeps projecting success-no matter what".

It would be my hope that investigative journalists
would bring this story to the forefront, and then,
the Clinton's are busy 'answering the questions about this, that Most of the Country, isn't even aware of-as it, like the bodies-Are Buried.

They NEED to be MADE to answer for the Mena Connection, (keeping the heat on them, and throwing a wrench into them painting the picture, that she and Bill 'already have it in the bag'- Their followers-in particular, the young women whom Hillary is courting at NOW(who may only be thinking of the 'first woman', etc.) public need to be made aware of it in the first place.
