I am as upset with the RNC and the leadership as I am with The Schmuck....almost.
I have been emailing and faxing and telling them, that as far as I am concerned this is their tipping point.
this treasonous b***ard needs to be called out on the floor of the Senate..censured and denounced.
and our "leaders" getting on every tv and radio show and talk about it...
so far, I am hearing......crickets.......
I share your frustration Xango Annie, but silence in this case may be our most valuable weapon.
Let's allow the American people and our military to speak up for once, as you have, and flood this a-hole with letters, emails and disgust.
I'll bet he's already inundated with emails by our military.
There is no disputing though that sunni tribesmen helping the US against AQI in Anbar predates the surge. I think the 4000 extra marines sent in during the surge did further assist cooperation. So, did paying and arming the tribesmen.
Chuckie is saying that the warlords, not our military, provided improved security in Anbar. Isn't that one of our goals, to enable Iraqis to provide their own security, or at least make more of a contribution thereto?
Just heard OBL's talking points. The Dems may have found their candidate! Did the nuts on this board write this speech, or might it have been Francois Kerry, Hollywood, Kennedy, Pelosi, Gore, Clinton or Howie Dean? Schumer or Biden? Fat Michael Moore? Co or LiberalT et al?
His hatred of W is similar to all of the above as well. OBL throw your name in. You deserve the full priviliges as any American. Landslide in 08?
Okay, Mark, I'll see if I can bring something up here without all the name-calling and the other juvenile stuff (yeah, right...) but, you DO know that the Democrats don't want failure in Iraq, don't you? The Democrat's point (in general) is that it's making things worse, not better, and to think we can 'fix' the middle east is plain crazy. You have to at least take that as a valid argument (several intelligence reports have said just that). You can spin it as 'wanting defeat' and all that nonsense, but really, is that what you think? 'Cause man, that's just nuts.
Jayhay...
It is called "wanting defeat" because it is your party that said "a good report [from Patreus] is bad news for us."
Sure that was one person but last I checked, good news out of Iraq is rarely praised by anyone in the DNC and where it is, it is a 180 from previous comments. That drastic a change only makes me [and the rest of us not asleep at the wheel] wonder how such a finger to the wind strategy is well serving of someone who wants to lead the greatest nation in the world [Hillary].
Jayhay is spinning the Dems position as it becomes obvious that their previous position is a loser. Remember, Jay, your position is whatever position the polls show today, not yesterday. However, in his defense, he is too stupid to realize the difference, as obvious as it is to anyone with a brain. These guys are used to simply repeating talking points.
Also in my previous post I left Mohammad Obama off the list by oversight.
....you DO know that the Democrats don't want failure in Iraq, don't you?
No, we don't.
The Democrat's point (in general) is that it's making things worse, not better,...
And the Democrats plan to make things better is to withdraw and...........what exactly?
The comments (bile) emanating from UBL on the newly released tape parallel those of the left wing. It is uncanny.
In the general campaign, the GOP ads need to reflect the similar rhetoric that come from the Democratic party and Al Qaeda. Ought to be fun to watch.
Oh...I forgot.
I don't think that anyone thinks we can make it all OK in the middle east as peace is not always defined as absence of conflict. However, those that love freedom understand that once it takes hold, it spreads like wildfire because the alternative is counter to our God given design.
So taking it to those that despise our freedom on their turf and quite possibly planting a seed of hope in the long haul is worth it. Those that lead look to the future and have hope that the greater good will prevail. Challenges are opportunities. For the rest, it is the blame game wrought with pessimism, negativity and myopic based opinions.
The unrest in the Middle East began with Abraham when he didn't trust God for a son and his first born (Ishmael - conceived sans wife) the Bible says will be a wild donkey of a man always at odds with his brothers (Genesis 16:12). How ironic that the symbol of the DNC is a donkey.
Okay Gentlemen, you clearly will only see what you want to see. Good luck with that. I'm going to get some fresh air.
"If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them."
Adios.
(Oh, and remember, troop drawdown in the spring because Bush has used our military up, not because of victory, unfortunately. It's just math.)
hayjay,
More spinning of positions? Bush stated withdrawals will be based by the conditions on the ground as seen by our military. Not by politicians in DC and coastal nuts or the MSM. And that is what is happening. You tu__ said cut and run, this war is lost. Good luck with that in 08.
You might take your meds along with fresh air.
Funny how UpChuckie took the part where he slammed the troops off of the transcript of his speech, on his website.
jayho, just so ya know, many of us on the right were skeptical about going to battle in the Middle East, because we knew that the region was already unstable. However, we still supported it, for two reasons:
1. The status quo in the Middle East was going nowhere, and noone, including all presidents from Carter on, was taking a gathering threat seriously. Diplomacy was a mere band-aid on a festering sore.
2. 9/11 changed the world. Now, before I get bombarded with the same bromides, let me add that by saying that, I was not accusing Saddam Hussein of having anything to do with 9/11. Although that's what the drive-by's and the MoveOn's did once the President made the same point.
We weren't going to sit by and watch a gathering threat develop once again. And the intel President Bush based his decision on wasn't just U.S. intel--it was collected by all major intel outfits in the world. We weren't going to sit by and let tyrants take over the region, a region vital to the world economy, because of, you guessed it--oil. In that respect, we did go to war for oil, but that's not the only reason.
Were bad decisions made? Yes. Should we have gone in with more troops? Probably. But we didn't, and we're where we are now. Pulling out is not an option, but with the troops stretched thin, we're gonna have to bring some home.
jayho, you, and the other troll pukes need to realize that this doesn't stop with Iraq. When Bush, Cheney, Rummy, et.al., said that this was gonna be a long war, they meant long after they're gone, and maybe long after you and I are gone. So we can rehash this over and over, and it ain't gonna change the situation.
UpChuck Schumer should swing from a gallows, along with Reid-tard, Durbin, Levin, Piglosi, and the rest of the Donkaroach surrender monkeys. They are traitors, aiding and abetting the enemy.
Disclaimer: I was not making a direct threat to and of the above-named, unpatriotic traitors. I was merely hoping that they be arrested, tried, and hanged for treason.
