What Media Bias? Part 98

Unfortunately, I'm not techie enough to post the picture here, but The Autonomist has the AFP photograph which came with this caption:

An elderly Iraqi woman shows two bullets which she says hit her house following an early coalition forces raid in the predominantly Shiite Baghdad suburb of Sadr City.

There is only one thing wrong with this picture - the bullets are still in their shell casings! As was noted at The Autonomist, the only way those two bullets hit her house was if someone threw them at it.

This is what passes for MSM news reporting on the War on Terrorism - pure, unadulterated BS broadcast as news.

It is pretty damn funny. Stupid reporters. I mean really. They either have to own up to being idiots, or heavily biased. One or the other. (Though I think they are both).

Sounds like Pulp Fiction. Jeremiah, can you quote us Ezekiel 25:17?

Germans Bomb Pearl Harbor!

No, really. Just an expression for "We've heard that news already."

I read this in Hotair five days ago.

I wonder when the antique media will give George W Bush the credit he deserves for pushing Hurricane Dean south and missing the USA?

The sad think is that most lefties won't understand the difference.

those pesky reporters on the ground - they've been lying to us all along. all that carnal footage - a charade i tell ya.

These journalists aren't bery good propogandists. Even a moron can tell these bullets have not been fired. What dopes.

constripper, even a pea-brain such as yourself should realize that this thread is addressing a particular attempt by the drive-by's to shape the news according to their agenda.

And btw, carnal and carnage are not the same. Look 'em up, peabrain...

I prefer carnal footage anytime over carnage footage.

If you read the caption, it says "hit" and not "shot," so it could infact be true. Maybe it was free ammo give away day in Sadr city and the troops were just helping to distribute ammo. Next week they are going to give away some of the 200,000 AKs the Pentagon lost, the week after that, free Teddy Bears for all!

Phnx, of course most lefties can tell the difference between a fired and not fired round. Years and years of watching murdering violence on TV and movies finally counts for something.

Whoever wrote that caption is complete moron. Must have been one of the Left controlled media puppet masters.

Once again the news is being "created for effect, rather than factually being reported"...shades of Dan Rather, anyone? And....the altered photos used by the MSM....can you say "phoney baloney"? You should, cause that's what it is-for anti war effect only.

OK Mark. Good job going through all the bad news coming from Iraq to find one instance where the media reported on bad news that wasn't real. And it's not as though this is a huge event that was faked.

But that was stupid of the reporters to report that, I admit. I guess they just weren't biased enough to hide the fact that the bullets were still in their casings.

By the way, how many bullets (in or out of their casings) have you found in your neighborhood lately? I'm just sayin....

And to you, Mark, everything is just a conspiracy against the right, cooked up by evil liberals sitting around, eating babies. Give it a rest. This news event is one freakin atom that isn't real in a f---ing SEA of atoms that are all real, so clearly, it is of little consequence anyway. Come on, Mark. Report real news for once.
