Paris or no Paris, There is Still a War On

I've said my prayers for Ms. Hilton - mostly that she'll find a genuine friend who will tell her that she has to really cool it, stop being in love with stuff and start doing something useful with her life. Other than that, there's not much to be done with her - and, meanwhile, our best and bravest are still out there fighting for us:

RADWANIYAH — The area just west of Baghdad and the coalition forces’ Victory Base Complex is quiet – so quiet that the tiny villages south of Az-Zaidon get very little attention.

But there are fears that this area, just southeast of Fallujah, is a bit too quiet.

“It’s an intelligence gap,” said Capt. Josh Betty, a native of College Station, Texas, and the assistant plans officer for the 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) out of Fort Drum, N.Y.

The battalion has made several incursions into the area, but hasn’t established a permanent foothold there. The intelligence gap – as well as some tips that two Soldiers who were captured in a May 12 attack had been taken to the Radwaniyah area – meant another mission in the area was due.

Troops from Companies B and D of the 2-14 were dispatched, June 3, to clear several houses in what was dubbed Operation Hermes. But with such a large area, the “Golden Dragons,” as 2-14 is called, needed assistance. They called on Co. C of the 1st Battalion (Stryker), 23rd Infantry Regiment, which had been aiding in the search for the missing Soldiers, to lend a hand.

The 2-14 Soldiers air-assaulted into the area while the Stryker vehicles moved in under cover of darkness.

“It’s an isolated objective area southwest of Baghdad,” said Betty. “Right now, we don’t have a lot of intelligence on the area, so we were gathering intelligence for conducting future operations.”

Always, always, always keep them in mind.

Bush is planing on expanding the war into Iran and beyond.

George W. Bush just fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Peter Pace, USMC. This is unprecedented, as it is the first time the JCS Chair has not been reappointed. Pace has been the most visible critic of expanding the war into Iran.

Pace's replacement will be Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Michael Mullen, another religious fanatic that actually beleives we are fighting Satan.

Bush is planing on removing other members of the JCS that are against attacking Iran and replacing them with Jesus freaks that beleive in the End of Times.

The Christian Taliban has taking over the government. Their goal seems to be destroying the world to help bring about the Second Coming.

I think thats a litte extreme Christain. (No pun intended.) But, what I would like to see is more talks with the US and Iran before making any military move. I believe at the G8 meeting other leaders (Putin included) agreed that restrictions must be put in place agaisnt Iran for its behavior. (I might be wrong on this) I feel much more comfortable knowing Russia feels this way about Iran.

Also Christain, what sort of action do you feel is appropriate for the US to take if say..Iran were to launch attacks agaisnt Israel. We all know Ahmadinejad isnt exaclty a fan. (underemphasis mine) Would you support the idea of the USA aiding Israel in Retalliation? By that I mean joint air strikes and such. I'm not talking about putting boots on the ground. Which I feel isnt neccessary, and realistically isnt possible without a draft.

I'm not looking forward to war with Iran. But I do feel that Ahmadinejad's (spelling?) day is coming. I would like to see France and Russia help step up and assist with this as well. When the day comes. I'm not particularly a fan of the "got it alone" mentality.

Be very afraid Christian.

Can you hear the chariots now?

Several thoughts come to mind regarding Paris Hilton.
Who created this monster? I look to her parents. This kid has wanted for nothing her entire life. She has enormous wealth as her disposal, but does nothing to contribute to society in any way. she did not figure that out herself. Her parents raised her that way.

Second: What she ought to do is just dry her tears and suck it up and do the time and come out stronger. Make a few friends with the butches in the Towers.
Look what Martha Stewart did. She made the best of a rotten situation and made a few friends while breaking rocks

Couple of things come to mine regarding Paris Hilton’s problems. First, she can’t cry or buy her wait out of this one. She should just suck it up, do the time, make friends with a few of the women how want to kick her butt at the Towers and come out like Martha Stewart did.
I hold her parents to blame for the monster they created. She was wanted for nothing her whole life. She has unlimited wealth, yet she does nothing.

Second thought unrelated to Hilton, is its apparent (again) the left wing kooks have no idea about Christianity. There is no amount of praying or actions men can do to bring about the return of Jesus to rapture His Church. It will happen on His time.

Can someone remove my first comment of 12:48. It posted accidentally.

Always a little disheartening to the troops when the General gets fired

Posted by: John Ryan at June 9, 2007 05:45 PM

Mr. Ryan,

General Patreaus has not been fired. Now if you're speaking of the resignation of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Pace, now that would be a little dishonest wouldn't it. Not to mention, wrong.

But I have a feeling you're wrong quite a bit.

Furthermore, wasn't it regaled as a morale booster when Rumsfield left? So why would the troops be disheartened by Paces resignation. Do you have a dishonest answer for that?

That's why I think our first daughters Jen and Babs do the right thing by keeping low profile. They do not have the privilege that young Paris does. Forget that they have DUI and underage drinking issues. You don't see them getting themselves thrown into jail.

The first daughters are NOTHING like Paris. Miles apart. The first daughters are our ambassadors of good will across the globe. Especially Brazil. I think Jen and Babs are setting a fine example for the young women of today. Good Christian women.

So as you mock and judge young Paris, at least you can use the example of how you would want your daughters to grow up. Just like Jenna and Barbara.

Low profile? Like working in an AIDS hospital in Africa or a poor school in Guatamala? I think the Bush daughters have more credibility than most of the liberal posters here. How many of YOU helped in an AIDS hospital in Africa?

Posted by: Kahn [TypeKey Profile Page] at June 11, 2007 02:31 PM

Right-O, right-o Kahn. That's what I'm talking about. The Bush Girls are leaders amongst women their age. What patrons of mercy. What fine examples of enduring servitude to the poor masses. Yes Sir, I am sure everybody who posts on B4B would be so proud of them if they were your daughters.

Fine examples of Christan women. Yes Sir!

Go Jenna, Go Barbara.
