Our guys are tough. The enemy in Baqubah is as good as any in Iraq, and better than most. That’s saying a lot. But our guys have been systematically trapping them, and have foiled some big traps set for our guys. I don’t want to say much more about that, but our guys are seriously outsmarting them. Big fights are ahead and we will take serious losses probably, but al Qaeda, unless they find a way to escape, are about to be slaughtered. Nobody is dropping leaflets asking them to surrender. Our guys want to kill them, and that’s the plan.
This really says it all lefties. This is war, and thank God we have incredible young MEN and WOMEN (not children as all of you will have us believe) that are smarter than you, braver than you, less selfish thatn you and have a larger vision you.
The last message I received my nephews was, just wait.....
As FDR said; "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself". And I can see the lefties shaking in their birkenstocks right now.

Yes Neocon,
this is a war, a war you will lose because your "BOYS AND GIRLS" are not good enough to win. It's that simple.
It's easy to quote old presidents, the fact is, you have plenty more to fear. You are losing this war, and with every death, your country is losing support for this war. keep up the good work, maybe by xmas those "boys and girls" will finally be home.
It's funny to read articles like that, your soldiers want to kill them....hahaha..what have they been trying to do this whole time, give them a chance to surrender. Pleaaaasseeee...all this talk is nonsense and you are the only one simple enough to believe it.
To each his own, have fun believing propaganda from Yon. Once you pull out and lose the war, i bet Yon will be saying..."we just left because our boys have mercy on the enemy." believe what you want Neocon

Oh and BTW, Iranian scum, I can't begin to tell you how brave your fighters are by wearing ski masks, planting IEDs and running and hiding. You fight like real men (NOT), maybe it's because you're actually women.
I mean didn't your little boys hide behind women and children in Lebanon when the big bad Israeli's came?
Why do you hide your faces? What are you afraid of? Why do you plant IED's then run away?
Why is it that you haven't won one single military conflict with our MEN and WOMEN in the US Military? And that's right Mr. Scum, WOMEN in our military are kicking your ass.
Where's that brave Zarqawi scum? Where's Saddam?
Posted by: neocon at June 22, 2007 11:20 AM
Yeah, our boys and girls aren't good enough.....that's why they are wiping out the bad guys in wholesale numbers, despite the fact that the "mighty" insurgents spend most of their time running and hiding.
And as long as Iranian National wants to speak of the truth, the truth is that we could have already wiped Iraq AND Iran off the face of the earth, but we are trying to leave a free and prosperous democracy behind when we leave. And achieving this means that we have to fight a war that leaves civilians untouched, as much as possibly be expected. But on the other hand, the "brave" insurgents and Iranian agents intentionally target civilians. Our "boys and girls" are fighting those guys with one hand tied behind their backs, and are STILL kicking their coward a**.
Hows THAT for a dose of the truth, Iranian National, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, or whoever you really are?
Posted by: Chuck at June 22, 2007 11:40 AM
First of all, Zarqawi and Saddam are arabs....they have nothing to do with me or my country. thanks for showing your ignorance
Second of all, hit and run tactics are called guerilla warfare. Why fight against a military when you can just demoralize their nation by killing them slowly. I would prefer that much more. And those big bad Israeli's you talk about didn't achieve a single one of their objectives during that "skirmish." instead, they lost the war and their prime minister almost lost his job because of it. Israel is just another small version of the US, all talk, and no walk. Thats what the world thinks of you people.
Finally, its easy for you talk about how your military is this and that. Let me pose the same question to you. how much calmer is Iraq now than it was in 2004........(silence)....ITS NOT. your "brave" army is struggling to keep their casualties below 100 a month..and this is the FIFTH year of the war.
Like I said, keep talking while your boys and girls are dying. Soon enough you will pull out and Iraq will become another Islamic nation that hates you.

Posted by: Iranian National at June 22, 2007 12:12 PM
Neocon it is clear why the enemy hides thier faces and utilize efps/ieds. It is an effective strategy for them. It induces the terror they want while killing soldiers and innocents and their masked faces are hidden away from danger. It is basic guerilla warfare.

Posted by: Iranian National at June 22, 2007 12:21 PM
I am not on iranian national's side I was just pointing out facts above. Those persians who are killing our MEN and WOMEN should be slaughtered.
Posted by: babyeatingliberal at June 22, 2007 12:24 PM
you have enough trouble killing the insurgents that are living there and doing it, much less try and kill the Iranians...haha..don't take too big a bite americans, you will choke on it.
Posted by: Iranian National at June 22, 2007 12:37 PM
"Israel is just another small version of the US, all talk, and no walk. Thats what the world thinks of you people."
-Iranian Terrorist.
Keep telling yourself that. Just because people here dont agree with the Iraq war, doesnt mean that they are afraid to go to war.
Keep taking hostages, keep giving the insurgents weapons in Iraq, and keep wishing the destruction of the west, all while mocking the deaths and sacrifices of our BRAVE SOLDIERS. I imagine whatever the outcome of the 2008 election, Iran's day is coming.
What I've always found amusing was the amount of arrogance from someone in the disadvantage as you. You do more talking and less walking than the US or Israel. You have an insignificant military. Thats why you chose to use guerilla warfare. You cant stand up to coalition forces, and you know it. Thats why you use women and children as suicide bombers and shields. Or hell, thats why you use suicide bombers period. Last time I checked, your Navy could be spotted by following the trail of diesel exhaust!LOL Ok, ok, Im taking this way too seriously.. This is just too funny.

Neocon,
"All Islam extremists are cockroaches. You have a lot in common with all of them."
hmm...thats like me saying, all christians are cockroaches, you have a lot in common with them. comments like that show your true insecurity about your position, and your criminal mindset.
"My goal has never been a calm Iraq. My goal is to see people like you, and other Islamic extremists dead."
Can I call you Christian extremist? Since now we know your goal is not a calm Iraq, and therefore you don't care about the very people you claim to be liberating..why do you wonder why the iraqi's and the world in general hate you? You just confirmed that you don't care about people, you just care about yourself.
"If only my country had the courage to use the A-bomb again, you and your ilk would be the martyrs you dream of being. That's my goal, is to send you to Allah sooner rather than later.

With this phrase you have shown that you are nothing but a criminal, immoral, lowlife country that deserves nothing but the wrath of god. Your goal can be whatever you say it is...the rest of the world have their goals....and that is to destroy you. you aren't the only ones with nuclear bombs. Countries like Russia and China, that pose as your allies would like nothing more than your downfall. Which by the way is coming sooner than later. That's my goal.

Actually, we kill insurgents by the truckload. Easy actually, as they are mostly ignorant savages. And in their war with Iran, Iran would use children to set off the mines in minefields as they attacked. So classy. So Muslim.
One of the problems with media bias is that only American caualties are reported. Iraqis, if not setting off a roadside bomb are pretty easy to kill. If we used the same rules they did ( not worry about destroying Mosques and killing women and children) we could kill even more.
Oh, and Iranian? You illegally attacked our Embassy and held the people there hotage. Not POW's - hostages. Even you called them that. A collective war crime. We sank half your Navy in the 1980's.
You give arms to the Taliban (who mostly actually hate you for being Shia). You arm Iraqi's, and Hamas, and Hizbolah. Why not just declare war on us you cowards? Oh - I guess its better to pay a Palistinian family for sacrificing their son or daughter in a suicide-murder.
By the way, my squadron flew missions over Iran all the time. Good thing for you we were only listening - your defenses were pathetic.

As far as Iran goes, you allowed a criminal shah to enter your country for treatment, we take your embassy employees hostage. Its that simple. You claim you wanna play hardball, and then you complain when someone does it to you. cry me a river.

None of you place a higher value on human life than we Americans, period). Its (it's asshat..learn to punctuate)like me comparing you to Canada, you are the same anyway (Why haven't you freaks attacked Canada yet?).
A world free of cockroaches would mean you would have to die as well (don't hold your breath freak, the average age of an Iranian is app. 10 years less than an American). Iraq is not my country, I don't care ( then why the negativity and why do your coward comrades hide behind women and children and wear masks? If you aren't afraid of Americans, then come out into the open and fight like men...not pigs).
A true sign of someone who can't make a valid response to criticism is to resort to personal attacks (Right...pig eater). go ahead, its easy being a big boy on the computer. In real life however, you are just like the other Neocons that send young americans to die. A weak, scared, immoral person ( Like your leader Hockmodumbojob? the one that sends children as suicide bombers).
Correction, you have played plenty of hardball (a game not allowed in Iran as it resembles western pleasure, a pleasure you'll never enjoy), you just have lost everytime you tried (yeah punk, that's why every country, including Iran looks to the US whenever a catastrophe hits. BTW, bought any new F-14 parts lately?). You withdrew after 200 marines died in lebanon..hahaha..wow, you really showed us there. You withdrew from Somalia after black hawk down...hahaha..wow, you really showed them. And you are dying by the dozens ( literally ) in Iraq, 5 years after the war started. I laugh when people like you think this war is being won, when your own people are against it.
Look forward to your "response" if you can call it that. I just call it angry banter ( the only freak that is angry is you and if you were man enough, you'd strap on a bomb and go at it...but you're not).

Neocon, why would a follower of Jesus Christ make such nonsensical comments? With those kind of maniacal remarks you come off sounding more like soldier in the army of the fallen angel than
a true believer in the Son of God.
CO,
people like Mr. pond scum are the reincarnation of Satan. People who willingly kill their own countrymen, women and children and have no compunction of killing anyone else who does not submit to their radical ways are the REINCARNATION OF SATAN. ISLAM EXTREMISTS REPRESENT SATAN.

She's a phony, don't get all riled up over her. The majority of Iranians love the US, they are a people with a long and distinguished history, and once shed of the crack-pots they'll have a bright future.
Think of the poor Iranian people; double digit unemployment, double digit inflation, malaise in the marketplace. They’re living in the Jimmy Carter years; they need a Reagan to come along and save them.

Thanks Neocon for reminding us of IN's ineptitude.
The first thing they should teach in Iran--other than how to make love to a sheep--is how to win an argument without directly insulting your competition. However, in this case, IN is a freak of nature--you know, the sheep/love deal that's comparable to nambla--, and it should be noted that he/she is the mental equivilant of Kblack...which doesn't leave him/her much for intellect.

Without risking arrogance, I think we're getting ready to kick some arse in Iraq. Actually, I think we're kicking some right now. Alas, we need to do it in a hurry, because our sorry-ass leaders, GOP and DemocRAT alike, are more concerned with the '08 elections than they are with our security.

Iran’s indigenous peoples; the Persians prize education and communication skills; most of them view the leader, Malamute I’m-a-dinky-dog as am embarrassment communication wise. He speaks like a low level government drone/religious zealot; like the Germans felt when listening to Heinrich Himmler.
Erika’s rhetoric reads like someone that’s pretending to have an accent; an Iranian would attempt to write in proper and grammatically correct fashion. It’s like watching a sighted person pretend to be blind; they “look” in every direction except at the person speaking, where a truly blind person would face directly at the sound to put both ears equidistant from the source.

The United States is anything but demoralized. We remember 911. We are simply disgusted that Bush has wasted valuable time and resources dealing in an Iraqi civil war that had little or nothing to do with our security; but a lot to do with his Papa and Oil. Losing 3000 lives on 911 made us angry. Jusk ask the Taliban. The loss of 3000 of our troops, when we are a nation of 300 million, caught in the middle of a civil war just pisses us off.

I went to tech school at Millington in 1977/78. There were many Iranians there. Never figured out their ranks. Since they were buying F-14's and Bell helicopters (and who knows what else) they came to our military schools. All I know is, they were not allowed to fail. No matter how stupid, no matter what they did - the Navy and Marine instructors were not allowed to drop them or fail them.
Must be great.

Lost in all of this witty banter here is the fact that most of the "al-qaeda in mesopotamia" (which didn't even exist before the US invasion) ... appears to have left Baquba weeks ago.
From the NYTimes this morning:
BAGHDAD, June 22 — The operational commander of troops battling to drive fighters with Al Qaeda from Baquba said Friday that 80 percent of the top Qaeda leaders in the city fled before the American-led offensive began earlier this week. He compared their flight with the escape of Qaeda leaders from Falluja ahead of an American offensive that recaptured that city in 2004.
Doh! Of course, the usual incriminations ensue for this latest debacle:
“Frankly, I think they knew an operation was coming in Baquba,” General Odierno said in a teleconference briefing with Pentagon reporters from the American military headquarters in Baghdad. “They watched the news. They understood we had a surge. They understood Baquba was designated as a problem area. So they knew we were going to come sooner or later.”
Now, before you all neo-ninnies hoot and holler that CNN lost the battle for us, keep in mind that it was actually US commanders, and cheerleading stories from mnf-i and the likes of Michael Yon, who contributed to the sand slipping through our fingers once again:
Still, he implied American commanders may have played a part by flagging the offensive in advance. “I think they were tipped off by us talking about the surge, the fact that we have a problem in Diyala Province,” he said.
Whoops, we got betrayed by our own patheticly desperate cheerleading.
But really, this is just the same pattern happening over and over again, and that's just the nature of fighting in a guerrilla war on someone else's turf. This very same thing happened last summer when we also had a "surge" in Baghdad that accomplished nothing (how soon we forget!). And it's just like what happened in Fallujah: the US converges on a "stronghold" (aka, a city full of civilians), bombs the crap out of it for days, brags about how they will kill all the enemy, only to find out the enemy got wind of the offensive days before it had begun and had already mostly bugged out. Then the wingnuts all blather on and on about how "cowardly" the enemy is for not "fighting like men" for not coming out in the open so we can blast them with our tanks, helicopters, and high-tech night sensors - none of which the enemy have.
There is a scene in the movie "Battle of Algiers" that comes to mind here (and I would heavily recommend that all you neo-ninnies see it). A captured guerrilla leader is brought before the press, like a trophy, by the French commander in Algeria. A French reporter asks the guerrilla, "Isn't it a filthy thing to use women's baskets to carry explosives for killing people?". The captured fighter answers: "Doesn't it seem even filthier to drop napalm bombs on defenseless villages, wreaking even greater havoc? It would be better if we, too, had planes. Give me the bombers, and you can have the baskets."
Now, the US military will move on to some other target, and in a few months insurgents will have trickled back into Baquba, Fallujah, or whereever. And the cycle will repeat itself... and can repeat itself for years and years more, unless we get wise to the fact that nothing positive can come from our continued presence in Iraq.
Instead, we are likely to get more BS like "well, the surge really hasn't even started yet", and the goal posts for when the "surge" is supposed to show actually start will get pushed back again and again, like it already has. Then this current "surge" will just be forgotten altogether like all the other surges, bloody business as usual will ensue, until the WH spin-meisters come up with the latest absurd label for the same failed strategies: "New Way Forward Together Again Improved Surgier Surge II".
When was the last time a major power triumphed over a guerrilla movement in a country it had invaded? (and no, post-WWII Germany and Japan don't count - both of those countries had been completely decimated in a years long conventional conflict first - any post-occupation resistance was flimsy). We can "win" all the battles in Iraq and still never end up accomplishing much of anything other than getting lots of people killed and gaining sympathizers for extremist Islam. Superimpose that onto a complex civil war (or actually, many "civil wars", as one American commander put it), and we have a recipe for years of grinding bloodshed with no point, that only strengthens our enemies and weakens our nation in uncountable ways.
But hey, it sure is tittling to get those battlefield reports from Michael Yon. Face it - vicarious military glory is all you ninnies live for.
Through no fault of their own, our fighting men and women have been placed in a situation in which no matter how excellent they are, no matter how much they try, and how much they sacrifice, the result will come to nothing positive for either America or Iraq. The troops haven't failed us - the C-in-C failed them by rushing to this idiotic invasion in the first place, and by insisting we stay in Iraq until his majesty is proved right. Bush's ego is a damn crappy reason for asking more American soldiers to die.

Posted by: jbiccum at June 23, 2007 02:14 PM
Aaron,
You're really not getting it - the AQ leaders took off like the yellow-bellies they are, leaving behind their stooges to face the music.
Fallujah is largely free of the enemy; as is Tikrit, Mosul and other places where the leftwing critics were saying, as we fought them, that we'll never get them out of there because the leaders have fled and they'll just come back once we're done.
The enemy in Iraq is running out of manuevering room - his back is against the wall, and we're in position now to crush him down so low that he won't be able to get back on his feet before the Iraqi security forces are completely able to take care of things on their own.

You know I think I finally figured out airheads mindset.
Airhead sees no difference between our fighting forces and the insurgents, and the purpose for the battle. To him it's just one faction fighting another for reasons that are unacceptable to him. Airhead believes that this is a war completely manufactured by Bush for purposes of enriching his cronies and/or consolidating power. He sees the insurgents as waging battle against an imperialistic power aimed at destroying their country and their way of life for unknown reasons other than maybe their oil. To airhead, the tactics of the insurgents, ie; beheadings, IED's and suicide bombers are completely justified in their struggle to fend off the "occupiers".
This is a dangerous and completely ill-informed mindset. What airhead completely disregards (or is ignorantly unaware of) is the broader intentions of the jihadist movement, which is to impose their view of Islam on the world and to kill all infidels, plain and simple. And this has determination on their part has grown in ferocity and scope in the last two decades. They do not care who our President is and they do not care who our Members of Congress are. It is laughable to even suggest as much.
The jihadists will continue to fight whether we are in Iraq or not. By being in Iraq and having a presence in the middle east, we are able to:
A. Kill them before they kill others (which they will)
B. Pre-occupy them and force them to spend their time, energy and resources on this battlfield
If we leave Iraq, they will continue to plan, kill and continue their pursue their goals of imposing the strict interpretation of Islam upon others. Those who do not acquiesce will be killed. They do not wish to enter into dialogue or negotiations and look on those attempts as a weakness.
The insurgents are very aware of the psychology of a liberal and play them very well. They know that all they have to do is have one spectacular bomb du jour, and it will only be a matter of time before they break the will of people like airhead. In fact, they know airhead better than he knows himself. Sad.

Neocon -
"Airhead sees no difference between our fighting forces and the insurgents, and the purpose for the battle."
Uh, nope, that's not what I think at all.
"Airhead believes that this is a war completely manufactured by Bush for purposes of enriching his cronies and/or consolidating power."
Look, Iraq never attacked us, or threatened to attack us, or had the means to attack us. So you tell me what was really behind this war. I can't pretend to know for sure what Bush's reasons were for this war - his reasons have changed so many times as this thing has developed it is hard to keep track. As old rationale fell apart, new ones were constantly offered up after the fact. So who really knows.
I can tell you what I think happened. Obviously, by the summer of 2002, neocons in the administration were salivating over the chance to use the passions stoked by 9/11 to enact their grand vision of transforming the Middle East by invading Iraq. But it was much much more than that. The real catalyst here was the realization on the part of the political arm of the WH (read Karl Rove) that drumming up a battle cry over Iraq was a sure fire way of simultaneously bashing democrats in the lead up to the fall mid-terms. The dream of this group was more along the lines of the "permanent Republican majority" of which Rove so longingly and chillingly spoke. Thus, the long-held dreams of the neocons over at PNAC dovetailed nicely with those of the Rove crowd. Added to the mix was a simple-minded president whose persona was well suited to the black and white role of messianic crusader of good against "evil-doers". It was a perfect storm.
So they wound up the Bushbots (Cheney, Condi, Wolfie, Bush himself, etc) and sent them out on a media campaign that had the purpose of stoking people's fears, while accusing democrats of being weak, unpatriotic, terrorist supporters who would not protect you against more attacks. By late in the fall of 2002, the Bushies had spent so much time talking trash about the threat posed by Iraq and about how the democrats weren't going to do anything about it, that politically they really couldn't NOT invade Iraq. And adding to the pressure, by December they had tanks revving up in the desert in Kuwait awaiting orders. Meanwhile, UN inspectors had been let back into the country and were finding nothing. Even at the sites the US had said were obviously nefarious turned up not even tiny residues of WMD's.
With doubt in creeping into people's minds each day the inspectors were finding nothing, and with Bush and his minions having talked so much trash about the weak democrats, and with 200,000 troops amssed on the border, Bush really had painted himself into a corner. There was no way he was not going to go to war at that point, and with the threat of slowing momentum for war, he could not afford to wait any longer. They had created conditions on the ground and politically that left them no other choice but to rush headlong into invasion. Moreover, they'd expended so much of their efforts on just trying to get to the war part, that they really never even looked at planning for the aftermath.
Yeah, perhaps oil was a tiny part of the equation.
Perhaps war profiteering and revenge for poppy played small rolls as well. But I don't think those were the main motivations. Basically, I think the Iraq War was a grandstanding propaganda campaign designed for the midterms that ended up taking on a life of its own. This thing basically got away from them.
Posted by: Aarontime at June 23, 2007 07:41 PM
I can't pretend to know for sure what Bush's reasons were for this war - his reasons have changed so many times as this thing has developed it is hard to keep track.
um....no they haven't. It's part of the GWOT and always has been. Mr. AlGore laid out Saddams ties to terrorism better than Bush ever did. The only thing that HAS changed is the Democrats position.
The rest of your post is just absolutely hysterical. Blaming everything on the the Bush administration completely ignoring the case of Islamic jihadism. You truly are a blind, partisan idiot.
As I stated previously, JIHADISTS DON'T CARE WHO THE PRESIDENT IS. They will continue to come after us and everyone else they perceive as the infidels. You are completely ignoring this fact, instead you focus solely on your deranged BDS. It's comical actually, but frightening as well because someone with your naieve wordly views will continue to be manipulated by the jihadists as they finish their goal. The jihadists must just sit back and laugh at how easily manipulated and how cowardly people like you are. Sad.

"What airhead completely disregards (or is ignorantly unaware of) is the broader intentions of the jihadist movement, which is to impose their view of Islam on the world and to kill all infidels, plain and simple."
The radical jihadist movement was not based in secular Iraq. Invading Iraq has only helped their cause.
"The jihadists will continue to fight whether we are in Iraq or not."
Yep. Which is why there is really no point in us being there.
"By being in Iraq and having a presence in the middle east, we are able to: A. Kill them before they kill others (which they will)"
First, we can't kill all of "them" (by "them", I suppose you mean jihadists and qaeda). And being in Iraq has proven an excellent recruiting tool, allowing them to gain sympathy and legitimacy they otherwise wouldn't have. For every one of "them" we kill, lots of civilians get killed, we get blamed for it, and 10 family members of the dead are now ready to take up arms against us. Moreover, not all of the people we find ourselves fighting in Iraq are al-qaeda or similar-minded jihadists - in fact it is doubtful that more than 10% of the mix of people we are fighting in Iraq are al-qaeda or al-qaeda wannabes (at least according to the NIE).
"B. Pre-occupy them and force them to spend their time, energy and resources on this battlfield."
The ones getting pre-occupied here are us. We're the ones tied down in the middle of Iraq's civil wars, spending our time, energy, and resources, while al-qaeda and other groups plot. And it only took 19 guys to attack us on 9/11 - I'm sure they could spare 19 guys again regardless of how much fighting we're doing in Iraq. Averting another 9/11 type attack will have nothing to do with "pre-occupying" anyone in Iraq.
"If we leave Iraq, they will continue to plan, kill and continue their pursue their goals of imposing the strict interpretation of Islam upon others."
Radical extremists have always been and always will be, long after we leave Iraq. We best deal with them through a variety of other means than invading other countries.
Fighting terrorism is a lot about police work. It's a lot about winning hearts and minds. It's a lot about beefing up security for our vulnerable areas at home. It's a lot about good human intel. And it's a lot about development and fomenting other alternatives to radical religion. All of these things are undermined by occupying Iraq.

So now you're calling Al Gore and Bill Clinton liars. This argument has been debunked so many times it's not even worth addressing.
allowing them to gain sympathy and legitimacy they otherwise wouldn't have.
They recruited pretty damn well throughout the 80's and 90's as well. Again, this argument has been debunked so many times, it's not even worth addressing.

um......no we're not. Our Air Force and Navy are not even at use and at the ready. Two thirds of our military is ready to go. We're plotting too! There has not been one major successful attack because of their compromised ability to conduct one. UBL himself said that Iraq is the central front!!!!!!
Fighting terrorism is a lot about police work. It's a lot about winning hearts and minds. It's a lot about beefing up security for our vulnerable areas at home.
In other words going back to the days of defense, which means tolerating innocent deaths at that hands of jihadists and accepting defeat.
I have read this tripe from every other member of Code Pink ad nauseum and absolutely comical how much you underestimate the threat. People that have, or had the ability to fly planes into buildings and blow up commuter trains causing death on such a wide scale calls for just a little more than police work. Wouldn't ya say?
Apparently not. Thank God you're not in charge.

"So now you're calling Al Gore and Bill Clinton liars. This argument has been debunked so many times it's not even worth addressing."
No, what Clinton and Gore said over and over was that Saddam was a really nasty guy who gassed the Kurds, supported terrorists attacking Israel, and was attempting to acquire weapons to threaten his neighbors - and what the hell were the Reagan/Bush people doing supporting him. They did not identify Saddam as an Islamic jihadist with ties to al-qaeda.
Go look at the Gore video you ninnies posted here again - the entire thing is a harsh criticism of Reagan/Bush for having repeatedly given Saddam so much support despite the fact he was engaged in gross human rights abuses and attacks against Israel. Really quite dumb that Mark or Leo would post that Gore video about the Bushies support of Saddam since they repeatedly chastise me for saying the very same thing. If the Bushies were so upset that Saddam gassed his people, why did they lobby against taking tough action against him back when he was actually doing the gassing? Gore expresses his disgust that the Bushies were so cozy with Saddam prior to the Gulf war - support that you Bushbots deny here on B4B.
For all his support of anti-Zionist groups launching attacks on Israel (which were often secular, and included Christian Palestinians), Saddam was not a supporter of Islamic jihadists, nor was Baghdad a center for radical Islam. Indeed, he regularly imprisoned and tortured the brand of Islamic extremists who attacked us on 9/11. Groups like al-qaeda and the Islamic Brotherhood were enemies of the Iraqi state. Wahabist Islam, the most virulently anti-western of all the fanatical Islamic extremists, was based in Saudi Arabia, and viewed Saddam's secular state, his socialist tendencies, and his tolerance of Christians in Iraq as abhorrent. In short, all these groups considered Saddam an infidel.
There are/were lots of Islamic jihadists funded, based, and operating out of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Sudan, Somalia, and elsewhere. Of all the countries in the region, you could hardly have picked one less fertile for these groups than Iraq.
And while Clinton and Gore decried Saddam's human rights abuses, his pursuit of weapons with which to threaten his neighbors, and his support of terror against Israel, neither identifed a rush to a full scale invasion and occupation of Iraq as an intelligent way to deal with him. Clinton's call for regime change in Iraq was targeted at formenting the toppling of Saddam from within - not leaping to invasion. Clinton/Gore pursued a policy of containment against Saddam that was, in the words of Colin Powell, quite successful in defanging Iraq.
"They recruited pretty damn well throughout the 80's and 90's as well."
Our own NIE has said that we are creating more terrorists than we are killing.
"UBL himself said that Iraq is the central front!!!!!!"
What UBL said was that US forces in Iraq was a great thing for al-qaeda.
" People that have, or had the ability to fly planes into buildings and blow up commuter trains causing death on such a wide scale calls for just a little more than police work. Wouldn't ya say?"
What it doesn't call for is you peeing your pants or the US invading countries that had nothing to do with the flying of planes into buildings. And all of the much trumpeted terror plots that have occured in the past year - the plot to use chemical bombs on planes out of Heathrow, the plot to attack Fort Dix, and the plot to attack JFK - were all thwarted by... good old fashioned police work.
"In other words going back to the days of defense, which means tolerating innocent deaths at that hands of jihadists and accepting defeat."
Please. Invading Iraq was not "going on the offense" against the religious extremists who attacked us. It was going on the offense against an enemy of al-qaeda, and it was going on the offense against a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. We have to be smarter than that.
Because Bush and you Bushbots weren't smarter, and obviously failed to understand any of the complexities of the middle east, now we're in this God awful mess in Iraq that has proved so contrary to our national interests.

Airheadtime
I pray that people like you can find clarity, either through education or epiphany, it doesn't matter. But to be filled with so much hatred for our President and his VP shows a that lack of clarity and understanding of the true affects of 911.

What UBL said was that US forces in Iraq was a great thing for al-qaeda. - airhead
Airhead, you're nothing more than a propganda machine for Islamists. What a tool you are.
But if the Taliban sources are correct, bin Laden may be aiming to help turn Iraq into “the central front” in the war on terror..........Bin Laden's latest statement urged Muslims to attack the US and any Iraqis that work with the interim arrangements, including voters and election workers. In the two-minute, five-second audio tape, he referred to what he sees as "the third world war," led by the "Crusader Zionist Alliance" against Muslims who, in turn, "have a rare and precious opportunity to get out of the dependency and slavery to the West."
Go look at the Gore video you ninnies posted here again - the entire thing is a harsh criticism of Reagan/Bush for having repeatedly given Saddam so much support despite the fact he was engaged in gross human rights abuses and attacks against Israel.
Just Israel? As if this was somehow acceptable, but I believe Gores exact verbage was: "Saddams support of a broad terrorist network".
Airhead, your spin is tiring and just these proceeding two lies I caught you in is enough for me to say CIAO! You don't get it and never will.

We went on the offense against the most brutal dictator of our time. Don't you remember the Iraq Liberation Act signed by Clinton? After 9/11 we had a mandate to take down a phsycho who had been defying the UN for a decade. You libs call it "Bush's war", but it is Americas war. Dont forget almost all of the Demsocrats in congress voted for it. Hell, Hilldog was an extremely vocal proponent of the war. Now she makes the most lame excuse that if she could see into the future, she wouldnt have voted for it. Give me a break.
You call us "Bushbots", but why do we oppose him on so many things, like immigration? How ignorant you truely are airhead.

Thought I'd drop back in to see if the Usual Idiots were here---Hi, Errortime---and see that you have another. I think the so-called Iranian Whosis is really just a local America-hater, Johnny Bin Walker, type, who would love nothing more than be a soldier fighting against us, if it just didn't demand----fighting. Nope, none of that risk-taking for THIS America hater.
See, he loves the very things that we see as the most cowardly and despicable aspects of this Islamic jihad. Trying to disguise craven cowardice as merely being "guerilla warfare" is nothing more than an admissison that you, too, find it acceptable to skulk around in the shadows, using women and children from your own side to ambush other women and children, who may or may not be from The Other Side. What you all get off on is the feeling of power you get from either slaughtering the helpless or, vicariously, by seeing them slaughtered.
Fine. Your type have always been with us, and has always, rightfully, been scorned.
I don't know a single person who can watch a video of a dozen or so "men" surrounding a tied captive, posturing with their automatic weapons, completly OBLVIVIOUS to the fact that they look ridiculous and craven and weak, without experience revulsion and disgust not only for these pathetic losers who could NEVER stand up to an enemy on their own, and for those who admire them.
A real man fights the enemy. No one who recklessly butchers innocent people, including women and children, can call himself a man. Hell, he can't even call himself human, though very few animals kill for fun, as these perverts do. He is just an aberration, just a loser trying to cloak his impotence as a man in the pretense of being strong. Bull.

And you know what was the main catalyst that thwarted the Heathrow plot? THE NSA PROGRAM!!
oh the inhumanity......

Neocon -
"Just Israel? As if this was somehow acceptable..."
No, it's not "acceptable", and no one said that. My point is that Saddam was not an Islamic jihadist or tied to Islamic jihadists, as you neo-ninnies mistakenly want to believe so you can justify this horrific mess. The entire Arab world is anti-Israel, and that doesn't stem from fanatical Islam. The PLO, for example, is in fact a secular, socialist organization much distrusted by the Islamic fundamentalists.
Guess who the Palestinian spokesperson for the PLO was for years? She is a woman. A lawyer in fact. No, she does't wear a veil or headscarf. She is a Christian. Some 30% of Palestinians are Christians, though most of the Christian Palestians have since emigrated after the Zionists decided the land belonged to them. And, some 40% of the population of Lebanon is Christian - today you wouldn't many who are pro-Israeli (although Israel used to arm them in the civil war).
My point is that being anti-Israeli is the default position for everyone in the Middle East, and is not at all an indicator of some crazed Islamic fanatical mindset that thinks it is OK to fly airplanes into buiildings.
So Saddam hated Israel. Does that mean he was an Islamic fanatic, or supported Islamic groups? Nope. Does that mean he was in league with al-qaeda? Nope. Does that mean he was a threat to the US? Nope. Does that mean he was any different from most Arab governments in the region? Nope. Does that mean it was "acceptable" for him to support attacks against Israel? Nope. But name one Arab leader in the region who isn't against Israel and who hasn't aided, harbored, or abetted groups fighting the Israelis. In truth, Saddam's support for groups attacking Israel was small compared to the funding and training of such groups that happens in Saudi Arabia and many other countries in the region. Are we supposed to invade all those countries because their governments are anti-Israeli? We'd have to invade the entire Middle East. Perhaps that's what most of you want. After all, this Iraq thing has gone so well...
Since when are we supposed to invade other countries on Israel's behalf? With more than $4 billion per year in the latest US military hardware delivered to the Israelis, they are more than capable of defending themselves. That's not our fight. We can't invade the entire region because everyone in the Middle East hates the Israelis for reasons that have nothing to do with Islam.
If you want to talk about terriorist networks and Islamic fanaticism, there are plenty of countries in the Middle East where that is indeed going on. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt, Yemen, are all hotbeds of terror networks and Islamic Jihadis. But no, we instead invaded Iraq, the country in the region openly at war with al-qaeda, and with the least ties to radical Islam.
In any case, Saddam by 2003 had very little capacity to attack anyone - not Israel, and certainly not the US. But that didn't stop the Bushies from exaggerating the threat and rushing to war, curtailing the inspections program that had just restarted a few months earlier. And now we have this bloody hell that was predicted and predictable. The Bushies blugeoned their opponents so they could get this war, and some democrats stupidly went along, fearing they would be called soft if they didn't follow the war lemmings over the precipice.
May they all - Republican and Democrat alike - come to realize just what horrors they have unleashed. And God forgive all of you who have supported this insanity.

No, I'm not justifying anything. But do you think fighters armed with rifles are going to just come out in the open to "fight like men" so we can blast them with our tanks and aircraft? Sorry, that ain't gonna happen. You all sound like complete idiots every time you whine and carry on "oh, they are being cowardly, not fighting us in the open" - as if that is ever going to happen.
Get it through your thick skulls - those many groups we are battling in Iraq aren't going to fight directly against our tanks, attack helicopters, and soldiers clad in body armor. Sorry, they aren't by to play by your rules of honorable combat, no matter how much you cry about it. And any idiot knew this before we went in. It's not like there haven't ample historical examples.
Our armed forces were designed to fight other country's armies - not referee civil wars and occupy other countries in regions of the world where we are hated. By all accounts the troops are doing the best they can under the crummy circumstances our incompetent and delusional C-in-C has saddled them with. They may end up winning every battle, if measured by combatants killed. But despite that, nothing good is going to come out of our continued presence there, no matter how much you whine about the insurgents being "cowardly".
Word up: those insurgents don't give a rat's arse what you think of their tactics. And you bemoaning the killing of innocent women and children doesn't make our presence in Iraq any less stupid. We knew beforehand that innocent civilians were going to die in large numbers - you can't say that we didn't know this was going to happen when we occupied a Middle eastern country. Did you really expect there wasn't going to be guerrilla warfare and bombings of civilians?
So stash the faux moralizing about dead women and children - you who supported this war of choice are culpable as well because the
Our guys are tough.
Osama, is that you?
Hmmm, Iranian National and Canadian Observer, Colin et al sure sound similar....
GOP 4 ME, nice of you to contribute to the conversation.....hahahaha..riiiightt. another mindless comment from an american. Doesn't surprise me.
When you have something interesting to say, please don't hesitate to say it. I can wait for you until then.
Neocon it is clear why the enemy hides thier faces and utilize efps/ieds. It is an effective strategy for them. It induces the terror they want while killing soldiers and innocents and their masked faces are hidden away from danger. It is basic guerilla warfare.
I wonder how many more americans have to die before the public finally loses it and forces the government to withdraw completely.
I am not on iranian national's side I was just pointing out facts above. Those persians who are killing our MEN and WOMEN should be slaughtered.
you have enough trouble killing the insurgents that are living there and doing it, much less try and kill the Iranians...haha..don't take too big a bite americans, you will choke on it.
-Zach
If this guy is a legitimate Iranian National, I'll eat my hat. More than likely it's our old jihadist buddy, GT Graduate. For your sake, GT, I hope you're using a secure router, or you're a freakin' computer genius, 'cause I'm guessing you've got some interesting people monitoring you.
First of all, Zarqawi and Saddam are arabs....they have nothing to do with me or my country. thanks for showing your ignorance
All Islam extremists are cockroaches. You have a lot in common with all of them.
Let me pose the same question to you. how much calmer is Iraq now than it was in 2004........(silence)....
My goal has never been a calm Iraq. My goal is to see people like you, and other Islamic extremists dead.
Like I said, keep talking while your boys and girls are dying. Soon enough you will pull out and Iraq will become another Islamic nation that hates you.
If only my country had the courage to use the A-bomb again, you and your ilk would be the martyrs you dream of being. That's my goal, is to send you to Allah sooner rather than later.
Got it?
God bless our brave troops and God bless President George W. Bush, the greatest president in american history.
Retired Spook,
Who cares what email I use, i am not saying anything illegal or wrong. Its simply against your opinion and you claim that "some interesting people" are watching me....hahaha..let them. I have not said anything wrong.
Neocon,
"All Islam extremists are cockroaches.
Got it?"
Got it?
Look at the link below of US troops and their behabior in Iraq. This won't be on your Main Stream Media i can promise you that.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article17911.htm
Man, someone call Orkin while I disinfect my keyboard. B4B's nutcase filter must be on the fritz.
hmm...thats like me saying, all christians are cockroaches, - scum
um.....little newsflash for you. That's what all Islam extremists think of Jews and Christians. Geez, you're not a very good Islam extremist. Learn the dogma, would ya.
Can I call you Christian extremist?
Yes, you can. In fact, I would love to see a Christian jihad that is aimed at killing every single Islam extremist that exists.
With this phrase you have shown that you are nothing but a criminal, immoral, lowlife country...
This coming from pond scum such as yourself that beheads innocent people on TV, blow up children in the backseat of cars and wear ski masks to cover your cowardly self, I will take it as a compliment. And and the lowlife country comment coming from such advanced people that it has taken America only 200 years to surpass anything you've accomplished in 2000 years. LMAO.
Countries like Russia and China, that pose as your allies would like nothing more than your downfall.
um....wrong again pond scum. China and Russia would go broke without America. Who would they trade with? Iran? Again, LMAO.
retired spook,
maybe you should check into a retirement home. the only nutcase on this blog is you. If you don't have any constructive remarks regarding issues in the world, please just stay away.
If you don't have any constructive remarks regarding issues in the world, please just stay away.
Practice what you preach, Creep!
You can kill as many people as you like Kahn, somehow, the past 4 years, that has not stopped them from demoralizing your public and bringing support for this war to an all time low. Kill all of them for all I care, then you will be left with a country void of people. have fun.
As far as Iran goes, you allowed a criminal shah to enter your country for treatment, we take your embassy employees hostage. Its that simple. You claim you wanna play hardball, and then you complain when someone does it to you. cry me a river.
Fact is you will lose this war slowly. just like you are now. Its over, the fat lady is warming up, get used to losing.
"um.....little newsflash for you. That's what all Islam extremists think of Jews and Christians. Geez, you're not a very good Islam extremist. Learn the dogma, would ya."
Religious extremism is wrong regardless of what religion it comes from. I guess you missed that point somewhere. You claim your religious extremism is good but others is bad. have fun with that one mr. relativist.
"Yes, you can. In fact, I would love to see a Christian jihad that is aimed at killing every single Islam extremist that exists."
You mean just like you lost the crusades?? Last I checked, the last great war between religions...you got your arse kicked. want some more, come by again, we have been there for 3000 years.
LMAO.
This coming from pond scum such as yourself that enslaves blacks for 200 years, exterminates american indians systematically, places them in captivity like endangered species on a reservation!! That has used the A-bomb on innocent civilian cities, that was created by the scum of europeans coming the US. Funny neocon. you have accomplished nothing in 200 years. Even democracy came from Europe, you guys just copied it.
"um....wrong again pond scum. China and Russia would go broke without America. Who would they trade with? Iran? Again, LMAO."
They would want nothing more than to just pick your carcas apart like vultures. Trading is not their main concern trust me, conquering you is.
Bring it on kid, lets go at it.
Kill all of them for all I care, then you will be left with a country void of people. have fun.
No. We will be left with a world free from cockroaches. What a delight.
the fat lady is warming up
No, that's just your girlfriend taking off her habib and slutting herself out to your muslim scum friends.
You claim you wanna play hardball, and then you complain when someone does it to you. cry me a river.
We have never played hardball with you scum, for fear of doing more damage to your already pathetic infrastructure and to prevent from killing any more of your women and children than we have to. Funny, how you don't care about them, of course with your small dicks I am sure your women aren't too happy with you either.
If we played hardball, your country would be molten glass right now. Hey speaking of that, have you figured out how to make a nuclear weapon yet? I mean it's 2007 already. Hey how's that space program coming along?
Religious extremism is wrong....scum
All of a sudden Mr. pond scum is a moderate.
They would want nothing more than to just pick your carcas apart like vultures. Trading is not their main concern trust me, conquering you is.
First of all, has your country figured out html typeset yet? Guess not. Of course technology was never your strong suit was it? Oppressing women is one of your strengths though, how impressive.
China is smart enough not to mess with us. Russia already figured that out, the hard way, as you will soon.
Even democracy came from Europe, you guys just copied it.
ummmm.......Britians government is more aptly defined as a Constitutional Monarchy, which of any country in Europe more closely resembles that of Americas. Demonstrating that brilliant Iranian education I see.
Bring it on kid, lets go at it.
LMAO. I'll do your girlfriend instead.
Yeah, we are really href="http://www.onestepsearch.net/b.cgi?bk=H8QudT5n0apUXZeCCGi-nLwm3X3ULIPX8V4G8Wrmw2hPIH55I1J4LLcVX*RWYtEfru*6j3j58RnnIsL24vmrZpDPYye5c2d0lb-19gA4Zi6xmjlJgNh5jl4XA9SHucBHak0H0OMkBX1U8kPZPkBekBntYRheliAm1ExGCmFhmxA0rH0*vphWdfgIXFnpFYqKP-Sw9JixT*uZoLtW8FGbdj828RUMQp6c26RlhowpKQqIHy4t5Vf4t1HMFLYUUqUryBDaZKHmSoZljj0fdDMjw6KJI4GYcoAE0a0wB*HyedsrtNfE0bF1TFPtZur7PfG2qcrv9TyHJrT4Db8WG369622WllvC9HJuw13PLRsIxehtwkPQp4vLTa-QKuGiglO7-baCgXFjfA7Z1uoYdZsWVR4z3XGmLVhUNBp*KBwJeofGGCrWWl65DylGojy-8KJZ7opNB*D8l5v-DRv0JNVjUwY-ZFdbYHgmvlWr3PiqfjLFSG95AdDkQMkplVJIJsGcEI8GoXCryHxv50pdAL7nV3zynDzOMPfHy7rM5lhLw-13PKtwwBmrT3YroVG-4ViNFikZfsWwuCt3CM1J-nFAAulSmk6qRFgj6cUIPBe1Y2CoFg1edJuYtNdon7C5dgf51o7jn8s1BVbqmoTcf9xJ9gQ4Zg3tIhWVWnOXInrZZvLxaQwK9wtSyJwClNdzUAmQYSmc8GRo4FwMO2*D1P4JNmd4QiQEIchTaLWawoB1776Wr8dsrxdPT30dsy1CRxL4MYlREV47P7k">equipped to lose, LOL. (I have no idea if this link will work -- it's the longest freakin' URL I've ever seen)
IN/GT, it is you and your ilk that should get used to dying. I don't think you realize how many people, after Vietnam, vowed "NEVER AGAIN". Am I right, Kahn?
Well, that worked well. Let's try again.
You are so funny neocon. you keep on confusing countries in the Middle East. Its like me comparing you to Canada, you are the same anyway.
A world free of cockroaches would mean you would have to die as well. Iraq is not my country, I don't care.
A true sign of someone who can't make a valid response to criticism is to resort to personal attacks. go ahead, its easy being a big boy on the computer. In real life however, you are just like the other Neocons that send young americans to die. A weak, scared, immoral person.
Correction, you have played plenty of hardball, you just have lost everytime you tried.
I just call it angry banter.
It was france actually that overthrew their king for a democracy. Benjamin Franklin used the french revolution and aftermath as a model for american democracy. Nice try.
I never said I was an extremist. You assumed without knowing. off course, that not unusual for you americans, you assumed you would be greeted as liberators and are being dragged to your slow death in iraq.
A true sign of someone who can't make a valid response to criticism is to resort to personal attacks.
um.....there was no valid criticism, just brain dead drivel from pond scum. You have no point, no courage, no vision, no spine, no intellect, no purpose to breathe air.
A weak, scared, immoral person.
But again, don't be so hard on yourself.
And you are dying by the dozens ( literally ) in Iraq, 5 years after the war started. I laugh when people like you think this war is being won, when your own people are against it.
We're dying by the dozens and what was the estimated dead muslim scum, 500,000? You're obviously not too good with math. Hey how is that space program coming along? Iran is such a refined, advanced country, it's hard to believe you don't lead the world by now in technological advancements.
Correction, you have played plenty of hardball....
um....correction pond scum, you'll know when we decide to play hardball. It's that little thing called the A-bomb that you haven't figured out how to make yet.
IED's are as technically advanced as you and rocket scientsits are capable of.
I love the smell of dead muslims in the morning.
Freak!
You are so funny neocon (The sign of someone intimidated by another's strength). you keep on confusing countries in the Middle East (There's no confusion at all.
BTW freakmojob, why couldn't your mighty military destroy Iraq when you had the chance?
I can hear some long-winded bs story about how America intervened...bla...bla...bla....loser.
uh oh pond scum. Bad news for you and your Islam scum. It seems as though some of your bretheres are figuring out who the real men are and are joining us in the fight.
BAGHDAD, April 13 -- Key Sunni militant groups are severing their association with al-Qaeda in Iraq, a Sunni group that claims allegiance to the organization led by Osama bin Laden....In the Sunni heartland of Anbar and other provinces, Sunni groups are accusing al-Qaeda in Iraq of killing, kidnapping and torturing dozens of their fighters, clerics and followers. One leading Sunni extremist organization, the Islamic Army, says al-Qaeda has killed more than 30 fighters from different armed factions in recent weeks......Sunni tribal leaders in Anbar are now working with U.S. troops to fight al-Qaeda. Zalmay Khalilzad, who was the U.S. ambassador
Wow, here comes another lowlife. Navydad....i have nothing more to say. lowlife describes you just fine.
Neocon,
Once again you show your colors, using atomic weapons on a country that does not have it, and has not in any way shape or form threatened the US militarily. That is the definition of a war crime and a criminal country. You guys remind me of Nazi Germany.
How many Vietnamese died in Vietnam during the war?? In the end, you withdrew because your people were losing their guts. It does not matter how many you kill, what matters is that you are going to withdraw because your people don't have the stomach for war.
Talk about spine, courage, vision...this is coming from a person who openly shows his hatred to fellow humans, and willingly admits to wanting to commit genocide against others. You just described yourself.
Once again Neocon scum, Iran has NOTHING to do with sunni's and al qaeda. Get your facts straight before you start typing you pond scum. the ignorance of your people truly surprises me. You are by far the most ignorant, low class, white trash, pond scum, redneck people on earth.
Benjamin Franklin used the french revolution and aftermath as a model for american democracy. Nice try.
Really? Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence and was the Father of our Americas Democracy. Moron.
Let's see; American Revolution 1776, French Revolution 1789. first American Congress 1774, first Free French Assembly 1785. Yep, Erika's history is as good as her grasp on world events.
Too bad the massive Iranian military got their collective asses handed to them over ten years by an enemy we defeated in two weeks.
I love the Persians, and believe me Erika is not representative of the wonderful people of Iran, she’s a phony.
Another female spoofer, Bwaaaaahahahaaaaaaa!
Erika..........BWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
You're killin me!!!!

Neocon, why would a follower of Jesus Christ make such nonsensical comments? With those kind of maniacal remarks you come off sounding more like soldier in the army of the fallen angel than
a true believer in the Son of God.
What happens if all the nations who now possess the A bomb start to threaten their current enemy or enemies with annihilation, what then, neocon?
Erika + Sambo the suicide Bomber + Canadian Observer + KBlack
What is truly sad is when the tiny country of Israel is going to send the poor loving wonderful citizens of Iran back to the Stone Age because of the Iranian crackpots. Their leader Malamute I’m-a-dinky-dog is going to have to explain to the mullahs how he managed to turn the country into a giant sea of glass.
Erika + Sambo the suicide Bomber + Canadian Observer + KBlack
Funny how sh*t happens.
I'll try it again.
Erika + Sambo the suicide Bomber + Canadian Observer + KBlack = less than one brain combined.
Nuke em' till they glow n' shoot em' in the dark!!!
Oh and pond scum, the French Revolution took place AFTER the Declaration was written. Just FYI.
....using atomic weapons on a country that does not have it, and has not in any way shape or form threatened the US militarily. That is the definition of a war crime and a criminal country. You guys remind me of Nazi Germany.
And blowing up commuter trains is an act of a cowardice, hiding behind women and children is an act of cowardice, using homicide bombers is an act of a criminal country, advocating the destruction of a soverieng country like Israel is an act of a criminal country. IRAN SUCKS!!!
You're not scared are you? Don't you want to be a martyr? Yes, you do! And we will help you with that. We're just here to help. Just think of the virgins.
....what matters is that you are going to withdraw because your people don't have the stomach for war.
Now, that's true, that's why will end it as soon as possible. As soon as people like you no longer breathe air, the world will be a better place.
...from a person who openly shows his hatred to fellow humans, and willingly admits to wanting to commit genocide against others. You just described yourself.
No. See this is where your stupidity is blocking your vision. We kill those who shoot elementary school children in the back, blow up commuter trains, blow up night clubs, oppress women, advocate the destruction of soveriegn countries, fly planes into buildings, strap bombs on themselves and walk into cafeterias, preach the destruction of infidels. You know, losers like yourself.
All Islam radicals will be destroyed.
Wow, here comes another lowlife. Navydad....i have nothing more to say. lowlife describes you just fine.
Lowlife? Navydad has more integrity and self purpose on his bad day than you could ever strive for.
Do you drive a car? Thank an American
Do you have a computer? Thank an American
Do you have electricity? Thank an American
Have you ever flown on a plane? Thank an American
Are you speaking German? Thank an American
The day you die will be a good day for all women and children.
Neocon, why would a follower of Jesus Christ make such nonsensical comments? With those kind of maniacal remarks you come off sounding more like soldier in the army of the fallen angel than

CO,
people like Mr. pond scum are the reincarnation of Satan. People who willingly kill their own countrymen, women and children and have no compunction of killing anyone else who does not submit to their radical ways are the REINCARNATION OF SATAN. ISLAM EXTREMISTS REPRESENT SATAN.
And I will advocate SATANS death which each and every breath.
You are by far the most ignorant, low class, white trash, pond scum, redneck people on earth. - Mr. pond scum
Wasn't it pond scum who wrote the following just a few short posts ago?
A true sign of someone who can't make a valid response to criticism is to resort to personal attacks
What a loser!!!!!!!!!!
Breath neocon breath!
DL, how do you know that this kook is a "she?" I know he/she is a phony, probably some stupid lefty from Kos or DU.
Throw the bums out!!!
Breath neocon breath!
Thanks bane, I have a wife in the hospital and nephews in Iraq. Mr. pond scum got me going.
I will go to my happy place now. Where's the scotch?
Ohhh, single malt?
I'll be relaxing soon with a snifter of Oban or Dalmore and a Don Pepin Garcia Serie JJ or a Padron 1964 Anniversary. But, please extend my best and our prayers for your wife, your nephews, and for you; may God grant you all strength.
Keef, her typekey is “Erika_rngl” judging by the spelling of Erika and her familiar (if somewhat sophomoric) use of English I deduced that she’s a phony.
I can't believe you Neocons are going to fall for the rantings of Iranian National. This is why we need a change at the top. He could be a right wing plant on B4B just to juice the remaining 26% faithful.
Bahhhhh!
He made fools of you all.
His bar was set pretty low to begin with.
I see Raker came out from under his rock. Or was that your mommy's basement...moron!
Why is anyone giving this guy "Iranian National" the time of day? If he truely is an "Iranian National" (which I highly doubt), I would like to see him write something in Farsi... like... how about, "I am a douchbag who has too much time on my hands". This guy is nothing more than some angry left-wing idiot trying to start trouble, or a right-wing idiot just trying to stir the pot. Either way, he is accomlishing his mission.
Its OK, we're used to liberals and other enemies of the United States lying. You're all in the same camp as far as I'm concerned - no matter who or what you claim to be.
Yeah, raper13, like she had anyone here fooled, other than your sorry little pansy ass...
"If this guy is a legitimate Iranian National, I'll eat my hat." by: Retired Spook
Agreed. What a poser. "Iranian" National sounds a lot like Canadian Observer, Raker13 and the rest of the leftists that post at B4B.
Most likely GTgrad AKA Sambo the Suicide Bomber.
Lack of punctuation, spelling, grammar worse than mine...yikes, capitals when he feels like it, lower case in place and a wit that equals a steaming heap of sheep dung.
One observation about these lefties (and this comes after a few glasses of Grey Goose)
Haven't they told us time and time again that we should join the battle if we're such firm supporters?
Well, why haven't they moved to Iran or the "socialist" country of their choice if they are such staunch supporters of their ideals?
GWOT update:

Neocon, my prayers go out to you and your wife for a speedy recovery, and to your brave nephews for a swift victory in Iraq. God bless you all!
:)
Prayers to your wife, neocon. And kudos to your nephews.
Dittos..Neocon! These times deserve an extra prayer or two.
Neocon, my prayers go out to you and your wife for a speedy recovery, and to your brave nephews for a swift victory in Iraq. God bless you all!

Freedom, Keefer, Kahn, Bane, Spook and navydad,
Thank you all very much. It's been a tough week. I haven't heard much from my nephews lately but I know they're ok and our families strength and belief in God will pull us through.
God Bless you all, I respect each and every one of you. Keep fighting the good fight.

It is hard to have loved ones ill or in dangerous situations, neocon, and regardless of our political and religious differences I hope you will accept my good wishes for your wife & nephews.
Thank you CO. Godspeed to you as well.
I had a couple scotchs and listened to one of my favorite cd's. Let's just say I will see you all on the dark side of the moon.
I think we've all had enough of "Iranian National". He's banned - and lets remember the subject of this thread: our troops engaged in battle.
The troops were engaged in battle Mark!
Just kidding....LOL!
neocon,
Your wife and your nephews are in my prayers. I have had a wife in the hospital and a daughter in Iraq, thankfully not at the same time. It's not easy. God speed.
Lost in all of this witty banter here is the fact that most of the "al-qaeda in mesopotamia" (which didn't even exist before the US invasion) ... appears to have left Baquba weeks ago.
From the NYTimes this morning:
Doh! Of course, the usual incriminations ensue for this latest debacle:
Now, before you all neo-ninnies hoot and holler that CNN lost the battle for us, keep in mind that it was actually US commanders, and cheerleading stories from mnf-i and the likes of Michael Yon, who contributed to the sand slipping through our fingers once again:
"Lost in all of this witty banter here is the fact that most of the "al-qaeda in mesopotamia" (which didn't even exist before the US invasion) ... appears to have left Baquba weeks ago.
From the NYTimes this morning:
BAGHDAD, June 22 — The operational commander of troops battling to drive fighters with Al Qaeda from Baquba said Friday that 80 percent of the top Qaeda leaders in the city fled"
So 80% of the leaders is most of Al-queda? Where do you get logic like that?
Aarontime, I can picture you, giddy with excitement that another bomb went off and some more US troops got killed. You must get a huge smile on your face, then you run over to your computer and go to B4B and tell al those evil right wingers how wrong they are. Does it feel good to be such a douchbag?
Aaron,
You're really not getting it - the AQ leaders took off like the yellow-bellies they are, leaving behind their stooges to face the music.
Give me the bombers, and you can have the baskets."
Sad.
Neocon -
"What airhead completely disregards (or is ignorantly unaware of) is the broader intentions of the jihadist movement, which is to impose their view of Islam on the world and to kill all infidels, plain and simple."
All of these things are undermined by occupying Iraq.
whoops, sorry for the triple
The radical jihadist movement was not based in secular Iraq. Invading Iraq has only helped their cause
Averting another 9/11 type attack will have nothing to do with "pre-occupying" anyone in Iraq.
um......no we're not.

"Please. Invading Iraq was not "going on the offense" against the religious extremists who attacked us. It was going on the offense against an enemy of al-qaeda, and it was going on the offense against a country that had nothing to do with 9/11."
Bull.
...the plot to use chemical bombs on planes out of Heathrow, the plot to attack Fort Dix, and the plot to attack JFK - were all thwarted by... good old fashioned police work.- airhead
And you know what was the main catalyst that thwarted the Heathrow plot? THE NSA PROGRAM!!
oh the inhumanity......
