I'm glad these people weren't around while Marines were on Iwo Jima, Okinawa, trapped at the Chosin, ot struggling at Khe Sahn. Really - I'm getting sick and tired of this crap. Just because our enemy is fighting us does not mean we are defeated.
However, if we surrender, then it does.
But they had the power to pull us out, and they refused. To undermine the troops now is evil and treasonous.
Harry and Nancy - if you actually believe we are defeated then go to Congress in the morning and put forward legistlation getting us out. Otherwise - shut the f^&k up.

Noonan,
pulling out the unpatriotic are we? Pretty pathetic for a guy who blindly supports anything the left doesn't...and this from a traitorous hack who a few days ago said he'd rather vote for an unqualified repub over a better dem...way to put county first.
On to your pathetic rant...how is what Reid and Pelosi stated from different from the 'war czar' has stated?
Hey retarded right....It ain't different, they were just restating what he already said.
Guess your blind, unwavering hatred for the leaders of YOUR congress made you skip over that part.
Great to see that your insatiable hatred for anyone with a ‘d’ in front of their name outweighs your ability to see the trees though the forest….But hey, you’re probably in Leo’s monthly troop death office pool anyway.
"and for you Democrats out there who want to say that my view is incorrect, then your only defense would be to say that the Democratic leadership is monumentally stupid. Take your pick: idiot or unpatriotic."
Hey look at that, your view is incorrect and the only one who is both and idiot and unpatriotic is You, Noonan....book that vacation for Baghdad yet, or still just a cheerleader?

Really? That's what surrender means? Wow, idiot you must have some book smarts or something.

Take a chill. Mouthpiece Snow was out there today suggesting Petraeus may not have anything to report in September. Democrats are just putting the administration on notice Petraeus will be reporting to Congress. Asking for more time will not be on the table.
Posted by: Plainjane at June 13, 2007 07:52 PM
Oh come on Mark... While I agree with you (in a sense) that the democrats timing on this statement seems more like a mea culpa to the anti-war left, I take issue with two things... First, your comparing the surge to Normandy and second, calling those who disagree with you "idiots" or "unpatriotic". The former is just ludicrous and you know it. The latter just reeks of extreme hard-line partisanship.
The white house today announced that the September deadline will NOT be a pivotal moment in the war... This is the very same deadline that Bush, only last month, said would be an "important moment" in determining the surge's success.
Last month was the third deadliest month for our soldiers since the invasion. All rhetoric and partisanship aside, how long should be give this Mark? If not September, then when? Or should we just let the white house keep making "important" dates and then tempering their importance when things look bad? Kind of kills what little credibility the white house has left. What will convince you that the surge is not working, and how long are you, as a loyal Bush supporter willing to wait? Months? Years?

Senator gives highly optimistic assessment of Iraq War....Jim Brown...OneNewsNow.com..May 16, 2007
A veteran member of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee who just returned from Iraq believes the war is being waged even more effectively than the top U.S. commander in Iraq has publicly stated.
A recent trip to Iraq by Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Oklahoma) included stops in the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi in Anbar province. He says "the successes in Iraq are far greater" than what General David Petraeus shared with members of Congress last week.
"The Iraqis have now taken over; they have the numbers and the capacity and they've taken over the battle space in Fallujah," Inhofe points out. "In other words, they're providing their own security," he says. "It's a success story in Fallujah, one of the most difficult areas to deal with."
And I know what you're going to say before you get your panties in a bunch again, BTW, there are meds for that. This Senator is a liar, part of big oil, is a Bushbot, blah blah blah......

Every democrat should be ashamed of their party. I don't know how they could not be. Is there any soul left whatsoever in that party. By all accounts progress is being made in Iraq. Attacks are down in Bagdad, which was the intent of the surge and sunnis are now starting to kill al queda on our side. This is tremendous progress. But all the terrorists need to do is blow up a car or shoot a grenade at a religious site and the dems call us defeated. Sad. Pathetic. If roles were reversed and a dem was in the white house and republicans were acting like this, I would be furious and ashamed. All the dems care about is an extra house seat. How do they sleep. God bless you President George W. Bush for your strength and courage.

Posted by: Kahn at June 13, 2007 10:14 PM
What do the terrorists want? The same thing Democrats want! Democrats and the terrorists both want American troops out of Iraq, yesterday! Terrorists and Democrats both share the same goal, the defeat, surrender, and retreat of America!
The DUMB Democrats have already told the terrorists that if they don't stop their terrorism, don't stop killing our troops and Iraqis, and don't stop their "bad behavior", Democrats will have the support and votes they need to cut the funding, pull the troops, and leave Iraq to the terrorists for their new base of operations!
The DUMB Democrats have already told the terrorists that if the "surge" doesn't work, they will do everything in their power to defeat President Bush and America.
The DUMB Democrats have told the terrorists that it is in their best interest to do any and everything within their power to convince the American people that the surge is not working!!!
The DUMB Democrats have already told the terrorists that if they will just increase their killing of our troops, increase their killing of Iraqi families, increase their terrorism -- and just hang in there a few more months -- Democrats will have what they need to prove that America cannot win and they can then get the votes they need in Congress to assure America's defeat and failure!!!
May was among the deadliest months for Iraq and our troops! Why? Because the terrorists are doing what the DUMB Democrats told them to do!
This summer will be among the deadliest for our troops, their families, and Iraqi families! Why? Because the terrorists are doing what DUMB Democrats told the terrorists to do!
DEMOCRATS should have been thrown out of office, but instead they are rewarded for their traitorous words, actions, and deeds... just as Democrats reward the terrorists for killing our soldiers!!!
Once Democrats have defeated American in Iraq, we will see terrorism increase even more in Afghanistan, as we are already seeing. The Taliban will use terrorist attacks to killing more of our troops and more Afghanistan families in order to provide the ammunition Democrats need to defeat America there as well!
Why don't Republicans and President Bush tell the American people just what the Democrats are doing to our troops, and continue to tell the American people day after day after day until the voters understand that the DEMOCRATS are undermining our military and killing our troops?
Why haven't Republicans and President Bush been making that point to the American people ever since Democrats began aiding, comforting, and encouraging the terrorists to kill our soldiers?
Why indeed?!!!

Gar - all the Democrats didn't even vote to kill funding.
But here is the secret. The Speaker of the House may not be able to get a particular bill passed - fair enough. BUT, she could have just kept the bill from coming to the floor at all. No Bill, No funding, No war. Nancy had, and HAS the power. She didn't do this. So, why not?
Why haven't the Democrats ended the war? Really, why not? Maybe they don't believe the crap the left most people in your party say. Maybe they do. I don't know. One thing for certain - they SAY things but don't DO things. If they fund the war, they owe it to our troops to support them. They should not react this way every time the enemy has a successful attack.
It is either stupid or treasonous. Yes, the T word. If they are deliberately aiding and abetting the enemy to further their own political gain (i.e. far left liberal support), but at the same time as encouraging the enemy they leave our boys and girls in Harms way - then that is wrong.
AGAIN - put up or shut up. How about changing that 16% of the military is Democrat and helping us win.
Yes, it’s a tough fight. Yes, it’s a tough enemy. So far it’s only been half the country fighting them. How about getting on board?

Doesn't America still have media savvy people, perhaps former military personnel, who are also trained and effective in dealing with and countering enemy propaganda and brainwashing?
If so, why don't Republicans and Conservatives hire experts in those fields to manage and produce effective media campaigns which counter the misinformation, disinformation, propaganda, and outright lies which flow continually from the Democrats and their ultra-Left-Wing, Liberal fringe groups?
Dump the ineffective politicians and hire people who can effectively use the media and neutralize the Democrat's rhetoric and propaganda!

Democrats want their cake and eat it too.
Democrats want to convince their nutty fringe groups they are trying to cut the funding and stop the war, but at the same time Democrats really want to the war to continue. They don't want to be blamed for what will occur if our troops are removed from Iraq now. They want instead to continue to blame President Bush for the war, to blame the Republicans for blocking their efforts to cut the funding, and they want the war as their campaign issue for 2008... all while their words, deeds, and actions increase the terrorism and the death of our troops... which in itself, gives the Democrats even more fodder for their own agenda and campaign!
AAR
Posted by: AAR at June 13, 2007 11:30 PM

Absolutely!
In today's world, we need to expand the definition of treason and what constitutes providing aid, comfort, and encouragement to our enemies!
It's pointless to try and fight a war where Democrats (to include those in Congress) are providing aid, comfort, hope, and encouragement to those who are killing our own soldiers... Democrats who are more concerned about their own political agenda that the lives of our soldiers, and who don't even care about the consequences of their words, actions, and deeds!!!

YOU created this mess, but we all share the burden of owning it. Don't worry though, the adults have gained some level of power, and are working to clean it up. Unfortunately, not much will happen until we get a Democratic President (and increase our majorities) in 2008.

This is like saying the invasion of Normandy was a failure just after the paratroopers dropped, but before the regular forces landed on the beach.
Noonan, why do you keep comparaing this B.S. war to that of World War II?
In World War 2, we had:
-a competent president (FDR) that didn't f**k things up every step of the way
-the support of our allies
-a clear objective to win (not any of the meaningless talking points you guys have now)
-Americans making sacrifices for the war effort (giving up certain luxuries and working in factories are examples)
In this war in Iraq, we have NONE of these things.
We don't have a competent presdient, we don't have the support of our allies and we don't have a clear objective for winning.
Posted by: teenage liberal at June 14, 2007 03:12 PM
-a competent president (FDR) that didn't f**k things up every step of the way - T.L.
T.L. obviously knows very little of FDR otherwise I am sure he would oppose him every step of the way.
For example, you do remember that FDR interned japanese Americans right? Not exactly popular with many Americans, especially Japanese-Americans. Should we intern Muslim-Americans? Would you support that?
Furthermore:
As Roosevelt took a firmer stance against the Axis Powers, American isolationists—including Charles Lindbergh and America First—attacked the President as an irresponsible warmonger.
Does this sound familiar?
Furthermore:
The strategic bombing campaign was escalated in 1944, pulverizing all major German cities and cutting off oil supplies. It was a 50-50 British-American operation. Roosevelt picked Dwight D. Eisenhower, and not George Marshall, to head the Allied cross-channel invasion, Operation Overlord that began on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Some of the most costly battles of the war ensued after the invasion, and the Allies were blocked on the German border in the "Battle of the Bulge" in December 1944; when Roosevelt died Allied forces were closing in on Berlin.
How many innocent civilians died during the bombing raids? Would you have supported that? Secondly, the Normandy invasion cost the lives of over 10,000 soldiers in one day. A serious miscalculation. Would you have supported that?
Learn some history before spouting off with your talking points.

Are you seriously this blind? This is not like Greenspan saying that the economy is underperforming.
This is borderline treason and is done purely for political purposes.
Earlier this year, the Democratically controlled Congress unanimously approved Gen Patreaus to lead the effort in Iraq knowing full well of his plan for the surge, which is just over 50% implemented. Also, ever since this battle began, the insurgents have yet to win one military battle when confronted by our troops, scoring victories and headlines only by cowardlessly killing innocent people.
Yet, Harry Reid decides to stand on the Senate floor about a month ago and proclaim:
"This war is lost".
Explain that.

"While there are very pressing questions about the future of the Army, you will, of course, in this hearing be asked to review the mistakes in American strategy in Iraq during your command, how the previous Iraq strategy was formulated, why it failed, and why it was not changed sooner, and the lessons that were learned…And you’ll need to explain why your assessment of the situation in Iraq has differed so radically from that of most observers and why your predictions of future success have been so unrealistically rosy."
That from the same guy who said Iraq was rosy himself when he went shopping with over a hundred soilders guarding him.

Is that the same Pentagon that offered these assessments?
A declassified report by the Pentagon's acting Inspector General Thomas F. Gimble provides new insight into the circumstances behind former Pentagon official Douglas Feith's pre-Iraq war assessment of an Iraq-Al Qaeda connection — an assessment that was contrary to US intelligence agency findings, and helped bolster the Bush administration's case for the Iraq war.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Pentagon's intelligence agency had no hard evidence of Iraqi chemical weapons last fall but believed Iraq had a program in place to produce them, the agency's chief said Friday.
Well then, I can certainly see why you're standing by them.

Al Qaeda and terrorists around the world read, listen to, and watch American news sources, but for those who happened to miss the latest report from the American media, they can always check Al Jazerra and other Arab sources to see how well their terrorism and killing is working!
Al Jazerra Online, April 20, 2007
The US war in Iraq is lost and a further build-up of US troops in the country will not recover the situation, the senior Democrat in the US senate has said.
"This war is lost, and this surge is not accomplishing anything, as is shown by the extreme violence in Iraq this week," Harry Reid, the senate Democratic majority leader, told reporters.
What does Harry tell the terrorists...
How does Harry determine [and convince the American people] the surge is not working? ...By the increased killings of American soldiers. By the increased violence, bombings, kidnapping, terrorism, and killing of Iraqi families!
What can the terrorists to do to further help Harry and the Democrats convince Americans the surge isn't working? ...Ramp up the violence and terrorism even more. Kill even more American soldiers. Kill more Iraqi families. Increase the bombings and kidnappings. Disrupt the efforts to stabilize the government and the country.
And how will Harry reward the terrorists for killing our soldiers? ...Democrats will work even harder to convince the American people the surge isn't working and war is lost. Democrats will work harder to cut the funding for our troops. Democrats will work even harder for America's defeat, surrender, and retreat, and...
VICTORY for the TERRORISTS!
Thanks to Harry, and Pelosi, and Murtha, and the Democrats!

Yes AAR, because Iraqi terrorists have time to watch American news stations that don't even come in on the Iraqi TVs. You sir are retarded.

Is that not spam what Jeremiah just posted above me? Please explain that one Jeremiah---no actually, nevermind, don't explain it, because you're explanation will sound like this:
"Democrats are evil, Satan created them, they hate America and want it to die, Republicans are angels on earth made by Gods love, Kill all muslims, kill all democrats, blah blah, jesus this jesus that blah blah blah jesus jesus jesus 911 terrorism jesus democrats hate god jesus jesus jesus." Followed by quotes of scripture that have no relevance to this discussion.
Why again should we take the opinion of an admitted bigot seriously at all?
Posted by: Colin at June 15, 2007 12:14 PM
Colin,
Bigot, racist, phobic, Christian Right, etc., etc., etc.
Those are just some of the typical words DIMs use to attack individuals, because those individuals have beliefs different from the nutty Liberals!
Democrats (Liberals) intentionally use those words to create a Pavlovian hate response in various groups. Democrats don't want people to think about the message; they want people to see and hear only those "trigger" words and phrases, and, without thinking, close their ears and minds to the message being said!
Jeremiah may phrase his beliefs in religious wording, but that doesn't make the message behind them wrong!
It's your looney left-wing beliefs, agenda, and weak minded Liberalism (your religion) that I don't like, and which IS IN FACT destroying America!
We need many more people who recognize the threat of Liberalism and who take and active, vocal, and fighting stand against Liberalism in all of its forms before it consumes and destroys this nation!
Democrats... the enemy within!

It's like declaring the Titanic "doomed" when water was merely spilling over the bulkheads on E-deck, and not waiting until the ship actually hit the bottom of the Atlantic.
Yeah, really "jumping" to conclusions there.
Well, remember, they called Operation Iraqi Freedom a failure before it even started. Happened about 5 minutes after they voted for the war.
Hey look at that, your view is incorrect and the only one who is both and idiot and unpatriotic is You, Noonan....book that vacation for Baghdad yet, or still just a cheerleader?
wow the retarded right has their panties in a bunch today...
"Well, remember, they called Operation Iraqi Freedom a failure before it even started. Happened about 5 minutes after they voted for the war."
really? must have forgotten that part, how 'bout posting a link...Otherwise - shut the f^&k up.
"Harry and Nancy - if you actually believe we are defeated then go to Congress in the morning and put forward legistlation (sic) getting us out"
Hey Idiot...they already did
"Just because our enemy is fighting us does not mean we are defeated.
However, if we surrender, then it does."
Really? That's what surrender means? Wow, idiot you must have some book smarts or something.
surrender? surrender to whom??? why is the retarded right always shouting about surrender?
how could we and to whom would we?
Hey idiot, answer that. Otherwise - shut the f^&k up.
Take a chill. Mouthpiece Snow was out there today suggesting Petraeus may not have anything to report in September. Democrats are just putting the administration on notice Petraeus will be reporting to Congress. Asking for more time will not be on the table.
Months? Years?
Hey Opus,
Are you that penguin from the Bloomfield comic strip? Because you two think a lot alike. Just wondering.
Anyway, here is a conflicting viewpoint. Can you handle it?
Just thought I would save you time.
Bush for your strength and courage.
you liberals are helping the enemy. Terrorism is a tool designed to sap our will. You help them. Is it unpatriotic? Maybe. maybe its just by accident and you are all stupid. Could go either way.
Surge not working Harry? Double it. Tripple it. Start the damn draft. But STOP undermining our troops in the field.
You liberals who can't see that - GTH.
The Democrats had the chance to get us out and refuse. Now, they stab our troops in the back.
Pretty pathetic for a guy who blindly supports anything the left doesn't...and this from a traitorous hack who a few days ago said he'd rather vote for an unqualified repub over a better dem...way to put county first.
Opussy, a lot of us "blindly support" anything you traitors don't. Your entire agenda is anti-American, so why should we support your kook ass?
As for an unqualified repub over a better dem? The only scenario in which this could exist is for Ron Paul to win the GOP nomination. There's no dem better than the rest of the GOP field--Hillary's a flip-floppin' liar; Earbama's got ties to Chi-town thugs; Edwards is a pretty-boy phony; and Biden's the stupidest man in D.C.
But there's hope for ya, Opussy--AlGore...
Piglosi and Reid-tard pulling the "appease the far-left" charade again? How many times are they gonna get away with this before MoveOn.Soros says "No more blank checks?"
Harry Reid-tard may want to consult with some of those undocumented Americans. They may listen to him; hardly anyone else is these days. Nineteen percent? Are you kooks proud of your leader, or what?
keefer,
hey I saw your reply about being in AZ a few days back and didn't get a chance to respond. Happy to see that you spent some time in this great state, no wonder you think so soundly, I am sure it was the desert heat that baked out the liberalism.
Godspeed my friend.
DEMOCRATS - put up or shut up. Remove the funding for the war and force an end. Or get on board and help us win. We're in a tough fight - we could use your help.
AAR
"Remove the funding for the war and force an end."
Suggestion noted. You may recall that the Democrats barely have a majority in Congress. Thanks to GOP opposition, they can't even pass a spending bill with timetables, much less remove the funding for the war.
"What do the terrorists want? The same thing Democrats want!"
AAR, you repeatedly use guilt by association as an ad hominem fallacy. Only morons repeatedly use guilt by association as an ad hominem fallacy. Therefore you are a moron.

Gar Wood
Gar,
That's a statement of fact!
Democrats are the real threat to America!
It's time Republicans treat them as such!!!
AAR
AAR
Kahn,
Democrats want their cake and eat it too.
AAR
AAR - I believe that is true. However, while doing that their actions encourage our enemies and they attack more and stronger because of them. It is truely, treasonous.
Gar,
But it isn't guilt by association - that would be our calling Reid a terrorist if he were merely seen in the company of terrorists. We're calling Reid a traitor - because he, like the terrorists, wants the United States defeated in Iraq.
Kahn,
AAR

Excellent post AAR. Everything you said is completely true. I couldn't have said it better myself.
Ill tell you one thing right now. When this thing is over, the Dems are gonna have hundreds of thousands of swift boaters to deal with. Our boys see exactly what is going on. The Dems may get something in the short term, but they are gonna have major problems in the long term.
jb - I've said the same thing for several years now. God knows what these vets will do to politics in ten or fifteen years.
Well said AAR
There is a reason our enemies rejoiced when the
Democrats took congress, and there is a reason you can't tell the difference between Harry Reid talking and Al Sadar, they both have the same goals.
DEFEAT BUSH!!
We are on the brink of all out war in the middle
east and all the Dems offer is more "I hate Bush."
Gutless liberals can stick their heads in the sand all they want, but the Caliphate is going to have to be defeated.
We can push back now or retreat and watch genocide and economic ruin reach across the globe
No, changing Arabs is the failed idea. Why do I feel there's something racist underneath all of this. Save the "darkies" from themselves and their primitive habits. It's not easy, keeping up the white man's burden.
ME,
You'd have a point, if millions hadn't voted and hundreds of thousands volunteered to fight for liberty. Iraqis are people, just like us: prey to the same weakness, and capable of the same greatness. They have a far different history behind them, but they are still your brothers and sisters, and pretty much have a hankering for the same good things that all wise people desire.
kahn,
It is a bad development, however, that the Democrats have made this a "conservative" or "Republican" war - meaning that, overwhelmingly, those who fight are either Republicans to start with, or become such by default. The military is supposed to be entirely above politics - but Democrats have politicised it in a nauseating manner.

Great idea! I've been hoping the Republicans would do this for years.
Kahn, good posts, dude. Although I don't want the Democrats to pull the funding for the Iraq War. We must WIN the war in Iraq or the bloodbath that will befall first Iraq, then Afghanistan, and then the US/Europe will be unbelievably horrific.
Why do I feel there's something racist underneath all of this. - me
Because you are a racist.
Save the "darkies" -me
This is the most bile post I have ever seen on B4B, and only a racist would post it. There has never even been a hint of racism reflected in anyones post here except for yours.
You could use some self introspection.
The surge HAS been a failure so far Mark. How else do you explain the sharp increase in violence and deaths?
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/14/washington/14military.html?_r=2&oref=slogin&oref=slogin
Proof enough for you?
Oops...looks like I hit a sensitive spot. I apologize for revealing a little more truth than what's acceptable on this site.
Oh yeah, they voted. Take a closer look at what they voted for. Iran Part II, here we come!
Colin,
There are other viewpoints than what you read in the NYT. And the primary reason why the violence is up is exactly what AAR said upthread. The Dems are broadcasting to the enemy to just keep it up and we will "redeploy". That's pretty good incentive for them, wouldn't you say? Or have you not figured that out yet?
Senator gives highly optimistic assessment of Iraq War....Jim Brown...OneNewsNow.com..May 16, 2007

As I said before, Jim Inhofe is hopelessly biased and one of the most ignorant men in Congress. This is the same men who believes homosexual's goal in life is to destroy America, supports torture, and blamed 9/11 on God taking revenge for our failure on protecting Israel. This is the same man who consults his bible before he makes a decision in congress(seperation of church & state anyone?) Yeah what a great guy...please Neocon the man is a fool..
Oh and if you actually bothered to read the article from the NYT, you'd realize that they got all of their information from the PENTAGON. Or is the Pentagon a bunch of biased liberals now too?
Wow, the lunatics are out in force today. So much pent up rage and hostility. You bushbots want to be angry?? Be angry at yourselves. Stop crying about the unpatriotic, traitorous, stupid, weak Democrats (or whatever else you want to call them) and accept some f**king responsibility for where we are now.
Until 2007, Democrats had the least amount of power they had ever had in government. Conversely, Republicans had the most imaginable, controlling ALL BRANCHES of government. You bushbots supported every action unquestioningly.
YOU created this mess, but we all share the burden of owning it. Don't worry though, the adults have gained some level of power, and are working to clean it up. Unfortunately, not much will happen until we get a Democratic President (and increase our majorities) in 2008.
Why don't you do us all a favor and shut the hell up until then? Besides, once Dems are in power, you can blame your mess all on us! That's all you want anyways, right, a scapegoat?
"Secondly, the Normandy invasion cost the lives of over 10,000 soldiers in one day"
Modern day libs would have wanted to pull out after 8 hours.
Because we know that Herbert Hoover destroyed 95% of Hitler’s weapons with pin-point bombing. And William Taft supplied weapons to the Kaiser; we’ve all seen the photo of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Ribbentrop.
It was just mafia families fighting for control of Europe; besides the jooooos were never capable of self-determination without civil war. Don’t you guys study colon’s history?
"But it isn't guilt by association - that would be our calling Reid a terrorist if he were merely seen in the company of terrorists. We're calling Reid a traitor - because he, like the terrorists, wants the United States defeated in Iraq."
Mark, Kahn, AAR,
Simply because Reid stated that the surge failed does not mean that he wanted it to fail. JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE GIVES BAD NEWS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY WANTED THAT BAD NEWS TO HAPPEN. That is the inherent problem in your thinking that leads you morons to say things like "Democrats are the real threat to America!" (another classic by AAR).
Gar Wood
JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE GIVES BAD NEWS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY WANTED THAT BAD NEWS TO HAPPEN. - Gar
"The surge HAS been a failure so far Mark. How else do you explain the sharp increase in violence and deaths?

Damn...it must be nice living in the same world as Harry Reid
Only morons repeatedly use guilt by association as an ad hominem fallacy. Therefore you are a moron.
Only morons repeatedly cite Wikipedia as a credible source. Therefore, you are a moron, Gar Weed. But you already know that...
McCain called it a failure too.
Read this question McCain put to Pace when Pace was nominated to take charge.
Nice going Harry, deflect the attention off the "failed" democratic majority.
Are you going to do something with your time as majority leader or are you just pandering to your real paycheck moveon.org?
Nice going Harry, deflect the attention off the "failed" democratic majority.

Keefer,
I wouldn't quote Wikipedia in a court brief, but for arguing on the internet with blowhards such as yourself, it is sufficiently reliable and clear.
"Isnt that funny, the leftist pig backs up his flawed assertions with the New York Times, yeah thats proof, and bye the way do you know that pigs fly???"
Angelo and neocon,
Leftists can fly? If you'd actually read the article, you'd learn that the NY Times article is describing a quarterly assessment by the Pentagon. If you have a different account of that assessment, by all means, please present it.
Gar Wood
um.....Christian, dear.
McCain referred to failed "strategy", which, just FYI, is A LOT DIFFERENT than proclaiming the war is lost.

AAR
Yes AAR, because Iraqi terrorists have time to watch American news stations that don't even come in on the Iraqi TVs. You sir are retarded.
Democrat = TERRORIST!
Jeremiah
Colin,
Bigot, racist, phobic, Christian Right, etc., etc., etc.
