God bless our brave troops and God bless President George W. Bush, the greatest president in american history.

Seeing the president getting crapped on in the rose garden yesterday by a sparrow was hilarious!!!

Posted by: babyeatingliberal [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 25, 2007 01:54 PM

BEL, that would explain a lot about your views on the world and your elemenatary sense of humor. Its the type of thing that a third grader would find hilarious, recess is over better get back inside, loon.

Proof that the sparrorists can strike at any moment. No one is safe. Those evil sparrows are a danger to our children.

We are fortunate as a nation that Dick Cheney was not sparrow hunting that afternoon.

Sadly, the new Democratic majority in the House just performed a similar biological body function on the heads of voters who last November empowered them to end the Iraq occupation. The president got the last laugh this Memorial Day weekend.

And the millionaire's club divides us again.

Third graders have a great sense of humor, too! Anyone getting shat on by a bird is great as long as you're not the recipient of the aforementioned shat.

Cheers!

So Bush says August is going to be more violent. The terrrrrists are going to kill civilians and stuff to break our will, while we surge the troop levels.

But he defines "success" as a less violent Iraq, Iraq with an acceptable level of violence.

So, according to Bush:

More troops = more violence

Less troops = less violence

Failure = more violence

Success = less violence

Ergo:

More troops = failure

And the Democrats voted to fund this?

I hope the millionaire's club has a happy Memorial Day.

HA - nice one congressive: "Proof that the sparrorists can strike at any moment. No one is safe. Those evil sparrows are a danger to our children."

you had better trademark that!

well folks - regardless of your political persuasions, have a great memorial day weekend. i'm outta here!

Boo-hoo, Broder. btw, the voters did no such thing last November. It's just what you sheeple on the left have been fed by your dear leaders. Wah!

...regardless of your political persuasions, have a great memorial day weekend. i'm outta here!

Forever, we hope...

Birds dumping on the Prez? You lefties have been doing that for 6 years.

You'd think that the moonbats who alledgedly "support the troops" would take one minute out on this Memorial Day weekend to honor the troops who have fought, died and continue to do so defending their right to make fools of themselves.

Posted by: phnx at May 25, 2007 04:53 PM

We pause to remember those who died,
With so much courage, so much pride.
They’ll never come back, yet memories endure,
To remind us of freedom: fragile and pure.
We’re worthy of their sacrifice if we pause each day,
Not just on the last Monday in May.

God bless all those who have served ... past, present and future.

Great poem. God bless you too, Kimberly.

Not even the 1st quarter yet and the game is over! BO and Hillary voted to withhold funding our troops! Awesome! So concerned about our troops, or the moonbat faction of their party? Or their personal political ambition? Thanks again moonbats.

Here comes Fred, the next President of the USA!

Posted by: SEW at May 25, 2007 07:25 PM

I'll chime in too!

Well, we had about 250 Bikers came through yesterday, most of them Vietnam Vets, they call themselves-- The Rolling Thunder-- People from all over the United States, They stop by every year on their way to the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington,DC..And camp overnight at the Elementary school on the football field. It seems like this gets to a bigger and bigger event every year, Now they a fair or carnival, whichever you like. They also have an outdoor guitar band....just all kinds of stuff.

Just remember them in your prayers, as they travel this Memorial weekend!!

God bless all of our fallen heroes. And we thank those who serve and protect our freedoms today.

God bless the United States Military-past, present and future!
:)

GO USA!

Loved the poem Kimberly. I second the sentiment. Remember all vets and active/reserve troops everyday. They are there to defend our freedoms. God bless.

And for everyone else, even the moonbats, have a safe and happy Memorial weekend.

Jeremiah, sounds like great fun, wish I could be there.

Canadian Islamists Trying to Bring in Sharia

Daily Times By Khalid Hasan

WASHINGTON: Canadian Islamists who have been trying to bring in Sharia into Canada, so far without success, have now chosen another route - Islamic banking.

According to Tarek Fatah, founder of the Muslim Canadian Congress, “In 2003, we saw Islamists trying to sneak Sharia into Canada through the backdoor of Family Law and under the cover of Multiculturalism. Now, they seem to be taking a different route. They claim they are introducing the seemingly innocuous ‘Islamic banking’ by claiming such banking to be ‘interest-free’ and ‘Sharia-compliant’. This is one more ploy to prey on the fears and insecurities of Muslim Canadians. Invoking Islam to make a fortune is only one part of the agenda. The other is to try one more time to make ‘Sharia’ part of the Canadian lexicon. Only this time, it has the backing of corporate lawyers and senior bankers who see big money at the end of the line. The whole concept is a fraud that will further marginalise an already marginalised community.”

Freedom is not free. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

Just FYI-
Meaning of the word "Fatah":

"Fatah" means "conquest" or literally "opening", in the Arabic language. The acronym "FATAH" is created from the complete Arabic name: HArakat al-TAhrir al-Watani al-Filastini, becoming "HATAF", which, since it means "sudden death" in Arabic, was reversed to become "FATAH".[4] This word (Fatah) is prominently used for the Islamic expansion in the first centuries of Islamic history, and so has strongly positive connotations for Muslims.

I belong to the American Legion and VFW and my group has placed a little over 5,000 flags on 4 rural cematries in the area where I live. I did not see one John Edwards follower holding a protest sign. I saw families, the young, and the old lovingly place flowers on graves. I saw pride and tears of people stopping by the Veterans Memorials to read and touch the names of those fallen heroes. The Avenue of Flags fly proudly over the monuments and markers as we paused to place a flag at each veteran's grave and say one more thank you and you are remembered. Have a Blessed Memorial Weekend.

Just FYI-
Meaning of the word "Fatah": - Freedom1

Interesting post Freedom. I wish more people truly understood the nature of this threat. Extreme jihadism is far more dangerous than Hitler ever dreamed of being. There was only one Hitler. There are many jihadists.

President Bush will be in NJ on Wed., May 30th; for more information go to www.njgop.org.

Posted by: semby at May 26, 2007 11:23 AM

Neocon - are you serious? Their was one Hitler - but there were many Nazi's - more Nazi's then there are jihadists. And are you forgetting that whole holocaust thing - 6 million jews 3 million others?

before you make such thoughtless comments - think of the all of the people who are victims of the Nazi's and who have relatives who were..

IT: hope my son makes it back from Iraq alive.

My prayers and hopes go out to your son. And all his comrades. And to the success of their mission. My heart goes out to you and your son.

Could someone who read it please give me the gist of what IT wrote to get himself banned? He was a self-professed conservative, folks, so if you think they ban only you kooks, you're--not yore or your--wrong.

Missya, IT...not!!!
