That question gets asked a lot of me these days on the blog - either directly or by allusion. It is late in the weary part of a long Presidency: everyone gets tired, everyone is ready for a change. Except me, and those like me who, I believe, take a longer view of things. Perhaps, also, I'm learning to be charitible as I get older. For all and sundry who have expressed an interest in an answer to this question, here goes:
Unlike some of my conservative friends, I'm not just supportive of the general idea of fighting terrorism, I'm actually convinced that the way we are fighting it today is the best means available. As regards the left, arguing with them has become pointless - they are so imbued with an unreal view of the war that a meeting of the minds between right and left is impossible. But for the conservative critics, there is still the ability to reach out and explain.
We could stay on the defensive and build up Fortress America - but a defensive war is always a lost war in the long run. We could become insanely aggressive and just bomb the heck out of anyone who looks crossways at us - but that would be an immoral application of far more power than is necessary to attain our just goal. I believe that President Bush has struck the right balance between agressiveness and caution and has kept before his mind the need for humility and charity as we go on with this war. We are not in this war for revenge and not in it just for the sake of America (though looking after the bulwark of liberty on earth is a vital task); we are in this war in order to save our enemies from themselves, and rescue our brothers and sisters in the Arab/Moslem world from cruel oppression. The side benefit, as it were, of doing this is, of course, our own safety. We dare not falter in this task, lest the enemy gain time to plot and carry out a more horrific attack than 9/11, thus setting off the insanely aggressive option for American policy.
This war is a long one and it is proving quite difficult - and the plain fact these days is that President Bush is carrying most of the load by himself. His Administration, naturally, backs him up, but he gets little help from his own Party, and nothing but grief from the Democrats. Upon President Bush's strong shoulders rests the safety of the United States and the hope of a tired world, even if that world has grown too tired and cold to really understand the peril its in, and the hope President Bush has offered to it.
This has been a marked failure - but the failure isn't President Bush's. The President campaigned on the issue, twice and thus showed that it isn't politically fatal to suggest far-reaching changes in a venerable American entitlement program. President Bush didn't get much chance to press the issue in his first term, and when he did go to a full court press early in his second term, he found that the Congressional GOP had no appetite for sweeping reform...the Congressional GOPers convinced themselves that backing the President on Social Security reform would put the GOP Congressional majority at risk. We can see how safe it was after the GOP left President Bush in the lurch.
Still, President Bush has shown sublime courage and great political foresight in his attempt to force this issue. We only hope that a future President will have this sort of courage, because Social Security reform must come in the by and by.
What a contentious issue this is! I think that I and President Bush constitute about a minority of two (well, I guess that Laura would be on board, too) on this issue.
Leftwing critics make cynical play over the issue of border security, but their real goal is open borders and amnesty/citizenship for the illegals in the United States. Meanwhile, rightwing critics are blowing a gasket because President Bush hasn't ordere the Army to the border....I guess with orders to shoot to kill any group of Mexicans attempting to cross the border.
What President Bush has done is suggest a balanced approach to the issue - increase border security, but undercut the whole problem of illegal crossings by putting together a guest worker program which would greatly incentivise legal crossing. The right, on the whole, hates this - seeing in a guest worker program a back door to amnesty. The flaw in the rightwing critique is that by blocking President Bush's proposals they have created the worst of all worlds: no guest worker program, only partial border security and now Democrats in charge of crafting immigration/border security reform.
In this issue, as in most issues we contend with today, it is President Bush's humanity and charity which draws me close - the mercilessness of the right and the left on this issue is astounding, and there sits President Bush, trying to do right by everyone, and getting no help anywhere. The right wing critics are merciless in their desire to just boot out all illegals and severely punish anyone who comes back...the left wing critics are merciless in that they just don't care about the baleful effects 11 million illegals are having in the United States, and the absolute disaster it is brewing in Mexico as their best, brightest and most enterprising head north, leaving Mexico ever more impoverished in the most profound sense of the word.
Education
Give me a magic wand where I can fully implement No Child Left Behind or entirely scrap the public school system in favor of school choice and I'd be waving that wand in favor of school choice in a minute. Unfortunately, I lack that magic wand - and so does President Bush.
There is a need for deep and comprehensive reform of our education system. Unfortunately, all attempts at reform are vociferously opposed by the teachers union bosses who like things just as they are, thanks very much; and these union bosses no problem with gutter politics where anything about education which is opposed to what they want is slandered as being "anti-teacher." So, we take what we can get - in this case, No Child Left Behind which at least starts to bring some improvement to education.
Contrast this with the cruelty of our leftwing critics who propose to merely throw more money at education (and that means, of course, throwing it at the union bosses...who will then donate part of it back for Democratic political campaigns) with no thought to what might help the children...who are real people, with real needs and who will be running our country when we're all old and gray.
Life Issues
The Culture of LIfe has never had a better friend than President Bush. When given a choice between siding with the Culture of Life or the Culture of Death, President Bush always comes down hard on the side of life. He has, once again, no magic wand to take care of the issue, but the pro-life cause has never had a stronger friend - never had a President who has so consistently stymied the Culture of Death.
I Could Go On and On
But I won't - you should get the picture by now: President Bush is doing a great job limited, naturally, by the way of the world. If sweet reason ruled us all, then everyone would clearly see what the President has been trying to do, and they'd pitch in to help rather than issue an endless series of self-satisfied second-guessing of each move the President makes.
It is my view that President Bush -firm in his faith - stands so far above his critics that they can't, in their muddy dreams, really comprehend him. This is especially true of President Bush leftwing critics, but even his rightwing critics fail on this point - that of not being able to grasp what is happening. President Bush is akin in this to Winston Churchill - but not the Winston Churchill of world-wide fame after Britain's finest hour - no, the Churchill who thought deeply and with great foresight during the First World War, and got for his trouble monumental unpopularity and, eventually, ejection from office in disgrace - everyone thinking he was finished and could no longer have a bearing on events. Unfortuantely, we won't have the opportunity - as the Brits did - to crawl back to Churchill once they figured out he was right all along. President Bush leaves office on January 20th, 2009 and he can't ever hold the office of the Presidency ever againn. It will be up to President Bush successors to complete what he has begun - or drop the ball and condemn us all to some rather horrific events in the not-too-distant future.
Meanwhile, President Bush's place in my affections and in my respect is firmly fixed. He's done what he said he would do, and he's done it with mercy and charity foremost in his thoughts. He is one of our greatest Presidents, and I'm backing him all the way.

I mean, seriously, you were interesting for a while but you've become a broken record of late. If you don't like us that much, then why stick around?

Well stated. President Bush should be admired just for being able to put up with the lunacy of the left and the MSM. He must feel like he lives in 'bizarro world'.

Dear Noonan,
I think you are lying! I think you’ve been supporting him so long and with such passion (why I don’t know) and now it’s simply too late for you to change your mind, because you Noonan are no flip-flopper! You will stick to your story all the way because changing ones point of view is a sign of weakness in your mind. Deep down inside I think you know that I’m right Noonan. Did you read what George Tenet just said about the “slam dunk” remark? It was totally distorted by your government in order to help make the case for invading Iraq. How do you justify that?
Noonan, I think you have been in this struggle for a long time. In a way you have build your life up around it. You have your blog and your book and its all become such a part of you that criticizing Bush would be criticising your own life, and abandoning him would be loosing your feeling of identity. Your president doesn’t have any foresight Noonan. He is a very simple man who is way in over his head and you all need to get rid of him quickly before he starts another war in an attempt to deflect attention. George Bush is not helping the situation because by now he has become a big part of the problem. Its time to wake up Noonan.
Respectfully
Rasmus
PS. I know there’s a terrorist threat in the world I just happen to think Bush is completely under qualified on multiple levels to deal with it.

I'm with you, Mark, for the most part, on the President. I'm not overly impressed, however, with his stance on immigration. But it's no worse than that of the DemocRAT Party.
You're right about the trolls; you'll get nowhere by debating them about anything Bush. Wade more than illustrates that, and his bumper-sticker mentality is parroted by the rest of them. I can't wait to get home from work and read some of their redundant rhetoric.

Mark Noonan stated:
"I believe that President Bush has struck the right balance between agressiveness and caution and has kept before his mind the need for humility and charity as we go on with this war.[So do I!]...we are in this war in order to save our enemies from themselves, and rescue our brothers and sisters in the Arab/Moslem world from cruel oppression."
Since we are to the point where the Democrats might actually succeed in defeating America in Iraq and giving the enemy the resources (a MAJOR victory against America in Iraq, Iraqi oil and training grounds) to plot a "more horrific attack than 9/11, thus setting off the insanely aggressive option for American policy," I thought I'd finally post the following. AMERICANS MUST UNDERSTAND WHAT WE ARE AT WAR WITH...ISLAM.
"About Faith Freedom International":
Islamic terrorism is inspired by Islamic teachings. We can never get rid of Islamic terrorism unless we defeat the ideology behind it and that is Islam itself. Islam induces hate backed by lies. Muhammad was a terrorist by his own admission. All Muslims, to the extent that they follow him, are terrorists. Those Muslims who are not terrorists are ignorant of Islam and are not good Muslims. Fortunately they are the majority. We need to rescue them. If you are a good human being, you are not a Muslim. Read this site and if you can't prove me wrong, which you certainly can't, leave this deceitful cult of hate and terror and join mankind. Don't be part of the Umma. Umma is fascism. It is divisive. It induces the hatred of others. Be part of humanity instead. Your ignorance is not an excuse. Pull your head out of the sand and face the truth, like we did.
Faith Freedom International is a grassroots worldwide movement of ex-Muslims and all those who are concerned about the rise of the Islamic threat. We want to bring humanity together, not by introducing yet another doctrine, which always ends up dividing mankind more, but by eliminating the doctrines that divide us. We want to abolish this evil 'Muslim vs. Kafir" dichotomy. Mankind is one family. Don't let narcissist men like Hitler and Muhammad sunder us with their big lies. Don't become the victim of the "divide and rule" policy of a psychopath.
Faith Freedom stands for freedom of faith. We are against Hate, not Faith. We revere human rights not human beliefs. We endeavor to be factually correct, not politically correct.
Do your part! Let this message out. Let us eradicate Islam and bring mankind together - the way God intended. Islam is the cancer of humanity. We can get rid of it. There is nothing we humans can't do. Mountains move aside to make way for those who are determined.

Did the hysteria and fear caused by the anthrax attacks play a factor in the passage of Bush's Patriot Act?
Anthrax letters sent to Congress on October 9
Tom Daschle letter opened on October 15
31 Capitol workers test positive for the presence of anthrax on October 17
Patriot Act passed the House on October 24 (Yeas: 357; Nays: 66)
Patriot Act passed the Senate on October 25 (Yeas: 98; Nays: 1)
Patriot Act signed into law by President Bush on October 26.
The anthrax came from a U.S. government lab. The FBI has been unable or unwilling to uncover who in the lab had access and motive. Is is possible that the White House was behind the anthrax attack to push through the Patriot Act?

Even here loyalty is a two way road where those loyal must see some merit in those whom they support. Do you remember the prosperity of the Clinton era? I just threw that out as a little raw meat because Clinton represents something to the modern GOP that I fear will become an albatross around the neck of Barack Obama. He is an educated man of great ideas but somehow the GOP will use the modern day code words for race and anti intellectual ideology to make his most minor errors major ones. This would be a replay of the Clinton era when a singular known event of oral copulation in the White House with someone other than your wife and three lies to cover it up became a national crisis that threatened to bring down the president. So now Noonan, you propose that Bush should be supported and you say why but give no real reasons. I admire you admitting that his Social Security Initiative was a failure and your thoughts on the Global War on Terror are just that your thoughts. While I may have progressive ideas about marriage, divorce, abortion, taxes, religion and the environment I am not wedded to these ideas. No Citizen should become a monolith to his or her choice of political party. At a certain time, Democrats and Republicans alike should reevaluate their positions on issues as one reevaluates their lives. Very few people are the same at 18 as they are at 35 and then again at 55.
What you fail to see Noonan is not the lack of those on the left to see your way for it is the same way you feel about a Democratic Congress flexing its oversight muscles. You wish your President and the GOP to be left alone but in your heart you know that government is a nest of corruption and the real game is being in power so that your dirty dealings are never brought in the harsh light of the Mainstream Media.
Here is the difference between a politically failed administration and one that is just playing out the waning months of two terms of service: If al Qaeda attacked a city in the US right now a failed administration would seek someone outside its party to blame politically and waning presidency would seek to bring the nation together. If said attack takes place before the Bush administration departs no amount of spin will be able to place the blame Democrats or liberals or immigrants or anyone else save for the perpetrators. Equally, when a Democrat occupies the White House again whether that be in 2008, 2012 or 2016 if there is an attack within US borders GOP strategists will be quick to use that attack politically if they are ever to "rally their base" with fear. The War on Terror is misnamed it is actually an ideological civil war between two well armed but blind factions being fought daily on the Internet and at water coolers on the radio an televisions in diners and on the tee boxes of golf courses all across America.
Right now there is a stalemate in this war but as soon as progressive thinkers have seized the White House there will once again be hope that America can move forward, join the community of positively thinking nations and truly act like the superpower that it is.

Freedom - how does FFI intend to defeat Islam?
Posted by: extramedium at April 27, 2007 07:49 AM
Why I generally support the president, but still have some complaints:
Spending and Pork
The former GOP-controlled congress allowed large increases in spending, including lots of pork attached to various bills, and the president did just about nothing to stop it. While I vehemently disagree with the troop withdrawal timeable in the latest war funding bill, the GOPers doesn't have too much right to complain about the attached pork, since they provided quite a bit of lard when they were in control.
No Child Left Behind
This law has created a large expansion in the size of the federal government in the area of education, which has traditionally been the responsibility of state and local governments. Also, according to several friends with school-age children, the schools have been "teaching to the test", and apparently neglecting or de-emphasizing other subject matter.
Immigration and Border Security
I find myself agreeing with keefer on this one. I don't know the exact numbers, but a large percentage of those illegals have crossed over on Bush's watch. Plus, it seems that our border patrol agents have been operating under some rather restrictive ROE that land them in jail, with a least one illegal alien getting immunity to testify against them. However, I break from your general assessment of the right in that, while I want our borders to be secure, I have in principle no problem with a guest worker program. Here's how I would run it:
Those seeking to become guest workers should submit to a thorough background check before they are allowed into the U.S. People with criminal records would be kept out, except where their actions would not be crimes in the U.S. Once in, the workers would have clearly defined times and places where they could work, and where they are allowed to go on off hours. Employers, in turn, would have to pay these guests according to legal wage requirements. Each worker's conduct could be evaluated, say, every 6 months or so, and cooperation rewarded by expanding their work and leisure opportunities, and non-cooperation penalized, up to and including deportation and dis-continuation of their employment in the U.S. The rewards for obedience could eventually include legal residency and citizenship. In this way, we give immigrants a clear message. Obey our rules, we'll treat you well. Defy our rules, then go to [you know where]. As for the left's stance on immigration, I could rant all day, but that's for another time.

its really amazing..
16 different agencies on intelligence in our own government conclude that the sum of Bush's action have lead to an INCREASED threat of terrorism, the methodology involves invasion of privacy, revoking of due process, as well as whatever techniques Bush and Alberto decide constitute as reasonable - which they won't tell us because of course that would be dire to national security (what if you told a terrorist that you were going to rip his finger nails off that would be a threat to national security??)
And you say its great.
social security reform- Bush doesn't have a plan other than to bankrupt social security so he and his rich cronies don't have to pay.
immigration reform - his plan amounts to build a wall between here and Mexico and then send in cheap labor to exploit
education? - again - no plan except for privatize and pray (both literally and figuratively )Not a plan - again just trying to save himself and other wealthy money...
life issues ->his and your stance is "we support the culture of life" . what the hell does that mean?
If you like Mark I could recommend some community colleges in your area so you could take some classes and educate yourself on
(1) basic science
(2) economics

It seems to me that you guys on the right, who like to talk about how “disjointed” the left appears, are actually the ones who are most split on so many issues. Take, for example, Noonan and Freedom1. Mark refers to our “brothers and sisters in the Arab/Moslem world” (folks he has had no trouble bashing in the past, but never mind) and Freedom1 is all for eradicating Islam entirely. Now, we could discuss the downright loathsomeness of proposing the eradication of a religion (can anyone say “Romans” and “Christians”? Anyone?), but the point is: you guys can’t make up your minds.
Same with immigration. As noted, some of you want to just jag up that big wall between Mexico and America with glass, station a few thousand troops patrolling the border and keep them dang wetbacks out. Some take the longer view, realizing that immigration, both legal and illegal, will never cease and it is best to deal with the issue realistically. (While I have my own doubts about it, this is one of the few issues where I actually, kinda, sorta agree with Bush’s approach. Eew. That was hard to say.) But the main point stands: you righties can’t agree on this issue.
Regarding foreign policy, you guys run into a brick wall again. It harkens back to the pre-election, anti-“nation building” Bush that you elected. Boy, if there was ever a “nation builder,” George is the guy! Why, he’s building nations left and right! Shoot, he’s re-writing the Constitution of THIS country! So that’s kinda like building a nation, too. And what we, on the left, find so hilarious about our friends across the aisle is the gyrations you’ve had to perform in order to square your anti-foreign-intervention rhetoric of the Clinton years into the “Hey-it’s -post-9/11-and-we’ve-got-to-“save our enemies from themselves” stuff of the Bush years.
Look, I know it is anathema to you, but here’s an interesting thing I’d like you to try. Today, at Daily Kos, they are featuring two videos of John McCain. On is from 1993 and the other from 1994. In them, McCain is arguing for America’s withdrawal from both Somalia and Haiti. The Haiti video is particularly illuminating, as he says “The right course of action is to make preparations as quickly as possible to bring our people home. It does not mean as soon as order is restored to Haiti, it doesn't mean as soon as Democracy is flourishing in Haiti, it doesn't mean as soon as we've established a viable nation in Haiti. As soon as possible means as soon as we can get out of Haiti without losing any American lives.” Apply that same logic to today and it is...how would you put it? Ah, yes. Treason.
You pass No Child Left Behind...then you don’t fund it. Your proposal to “save” Social Security is to turn it over to private fund managers, once again enriching the rich. You ignore, deride and smear the idea of global warming until it finally becomes undeniable...and then you say “Well, it’s too late to do anything anyway” and become a bunch of surrender monkeys.
Like I say, the disarray on the right only makes us laugh. And from the look of it, the rest of the nation is laughing, too.
P.S. Right on the money, Gar.

President Bush to me has been a great President who has had to deal with problems like no other President.
He is not perfect. And that is the problem the MSM and the democrats make us believe that he should be perfect. Well he's not. And I'm sure he's very tired too!
He needs to fight those damn democrats and his fellow republicans should help. Pelosi is Speaker because she was out there every single lying to the American people. She is our worse nightmare.
But the fact remains when we support the President we support the country and we have to support our military. The war sucks and mistakes have been made, but we need to win.
Why do the democrats want to repeat Vietnam? That is the questions that must be answered.

.....8 years of Clinton inaction and 4 years of Carter inaction have brought us to where we are today.
......at the Democratic candidate press conference last night, what was their plan???? besides bashing Bush?????
When asked if during that night, two U.S. cities were nuked, what was their response if it was known that Al Qaeda was responsible?
Obama said that he would be sure to get the first responders there, and then proceeded to bash Bush about Katrina....make sure of the intelligence (but in the question is was already determined) and seek permission from the world community....in other words no plan to retaliate.
Clinton said that she would retaliate. She agreed with the response in Afghanistan. But that the adminstration was distracted to Iraq, it was a decision she would not make (but she did vote for it! and praised herself when Hussein was caught!!). Hmmmmm, played both sides of the fence there and some convenient "forgetfullness".

This is yet another ex-Muslim site...
Islam Watch: Telling the Truth About Islam
Islam Under Scrutiny by Ex-Muslims:
Who Are We?
We are a group of Muslim apostates who have left Islam out of our own conviction when we discovered that the religion of Islam is not a religion at all. Most of us had taken a prolong period of time to study, evaluate, reflect and contemplate on this religion of our birth. Having scrutinized this religion with meticulous attention, we concluded that Islam is not at all a religion of peace as touted by many smooth-talking, self-serving Islamists and the Islamic apologists. The core of Islam, that is, the Qur'an, Hadis and Sharia are filled with unbound hatred for the unbelievers, unbelievably intolerant and exceptionally cruel and merciless to those who dare to deviate an iota from its doctrine. We discovered that Islam is beyond alteration, because Muslims who attempt to modernize and reform its unremitting bigotry, mindless rituals and its barbaric and draconian punitive measures are targeted for annihilation. Our verdict was that the only way to escape from the tyranny of Islam is to leave it for good. That is why we discarded Islam from our lives-to be free, to enjoy a normal, pleasant and humane life, in complete harmony with all people on earth irrespective of their religion, race or creed.
As we thoroughly understood that Islam was nothing but a lie through our meticulous investigation for decades, we left Islam silently because of the fear for our life. Then we felt that it was a responsibility on us to make the 1.4 billion world-Muslims aware of the falsity and cruelty of Islam so that they can also leave Islam and live with love, respect and harmony with rest of the world. As Islamic terrorism overwhelms the world, we also felt it incumbent upon us to let the civilized world recognize the reality about Islam and take timely precautionary measures against this religion of terror, hate and mayhem. We want to tell the world that the current Islamic terrorism is not an aberration of the so-called 'peaceful Islam', rather it is the real Islam preached and practiced by the alleged Prophet Muhammad. This can be confirmed from a thorough study of the Qur'an and Hadis. We, therefore, have launched this website to expose the real Islam-the Islam that is determined to replace the current civilization with the 7th century Arab Bedouin barbarism, which is peddled as the Islamic Civilization. Let the world watch Islam through www.islam-watch.org and be warned.
Islam Watch is run by a group of Muslim apostates. Hailing mainly from South Asia, some of us left Islam after the 9/11. As explained above, we realized that Islam is false and felt that Islam need to be emasculated, marginalized or eliminated al-together if Muslim world wants to come out of its current backwardness and quagmire, characterized by poverty, corruption, illiteracy, violence, misrule and tyranny, in which they have been thrown in due to Islamic indoctrination.

Yet another ex-Muslim site...
Apostates of Islam
Who we are:
We are ex-Muslims. Some of us were born and raised in Islam and some of us had converted to Islam at some moment in our lives. We were taught never to question the truth of Islam and to believe in Allah and his messenger with blind faith. We were told that Allah would forgive all sins but the sin of disbelief (Quran 4:48 and 4:116). But we committed the ultimate sin of thinking and questioned the belief that was imposed on us and we came to realize that far from being a religion of truth, Islam is a hoax, it is hallucination of a sick mind and nothing but lies and deceits.
What is our goal?
We are apostates of Islam. We denounce Islam as a false doctrine of hate and terror. However we are not against Muslims who are our own kin and relatives. We do not advocate hate and violence. Muslims are the main victims of Islam. Our goal is to educate them and let them see the truth. We are against Islam and not the Muslims. We strive to bring the Muslims into the fold of humanity. Eradicate Islam so our people can be liberated, so they can prosper and break away from the pillory of Islam. We would like to see Islamic countries dedicate more time to science and less time to Quran and Sharia. We would like to see them prosper and contribute to human civilization. We would like to see the draconian laws of Islam eliminated and people are treated humanely. We strive for freedom of beliefs, for equality of gender and for oneness of mankind.

I like anyone who stands up for what they believe is right, and I believe Bush is right on most issues most of the time. I just wish he would chose to prosecute those in the Demoratic congress for acts of corruption and for violating the laws. The Demorats are hurting the people of this country and hurting the Republic, not the Democracy, of this country. God Bless America, God Bless our Troops, and Please do not pull out of Iraq. Thank you Bush for standing up for what you believe in, no matter what the rigged polls of the Demorats say.

Mark:
Your common sense has long since left you, replaced with a cult worship for Bush.
Wade
(Ed. Note: This comment amply demonstrates the utter pointlessness in debating some lefties).
Wade,
Aren't you needed over at Daily Kos?
Qu'ul cuda praedex nihil!
Amen to that mark.
Freedom - how does FFI intend to defeat Islam?
Let us eradicate Islam and bring mankind together - the way God intended.

O.K., you and your God wants to rid mankind of the Islamic religion. Islamic fanatics want to rid the world of infidels. The difference is??
its really amazing..
(2) economics

oh, i could go on and on Mark...
The sun rises on another day. It's time to:
Pray at the feet of George W. Bush.
Mark,
It’s obvious you’re an intelligent man. What isn’t obvious is why you would abdicate that intelligence to the likes of Dubya T. Potus. Pledging blind allegiance to a country, or a belief system, is an honorable endeavor. Pledging blind allegiance to another human-being is a fool’s errand. Pledging blind allegiance to another human-being is what got them to line up and drink the Kool-aid. Mark, don’t be one of those people, don’t drink the Kool-aid.
So that's why you support him... Hmm
I would have guessed lead paint.
Yes. Pray that Gore and Kerry didnt make it to the White House. You're starting to come around Raker13
Hey it is not all bad news at least Noonan can shout from the rafters about how good the US economy is becaus the . . . wait check that the US economy has the lowest growth quarter in 4 years. Sigh. Noonan you are welcome still in Paris where the Euro is kicking the dollar's buttocks! Frog's legs or petit oiseau for you Noonan?
The ignorance of the Left is unbelievable.
"Let us eradicate Islam and bring mankind together - the way God intended. Islam is the cancer of humanity. We can get rid of it. There is nothing we humans can't do."
Freedom1,
Hatred and ignorance are the cancers of humanity. Your post reflects an astonishing and frightening depth of both.
Gar Wood
I like the way you think Cyber
Who said that we wanted to obliterate Islamic Religion? CO? Hasnt it been made clear that we're after the Radical Islamic Facists? I would think there's a huge difference between them and my "God".
You guys on the left are delusional.
That was hilarious--good job. In particular, "It is my view that President Bush -firm in his faith - stands so far above his critics that they can't, in their muddy dreams, really comprehend him" is definitely the punchline of the week.
Let us eradicate Islam and bring mankind together - the way God intended. Islam is the cancer of humanity. We can get rid of it.
Freedom1 - living proof that there isn't much of a difference between the Christian fanatics and the Islamic extremists.
Freedom1, you want a holy war with the Islamic extremists? Fine, but under one condition: take your war far away from this planet, cause there are billions of other human beings who would love to live in peace rather than to fight a holy war to see which God is on thier side.

.....and the Democrat plan is???????????
.....8 years of Clinton inaction and 4 years of Carter inaction have brought us to where we are today.
......at the Democratic candidate press conference last night, what was their plan???? besides bashing Bush?????
Again more of the same, bash Bush but offer nothing even if they were President!
Gee, I'm disappointed--I expected more. Same old talking points.
