Rove Derangement Syndrome

Michelle Malkin notes out the left was suckered by a photo-shopped picture of Karl Rove - I highly recommend it, as it shows just how nuts our critics are these days.

Nevermind this silliness - if I wanted that, I would read Leo's posts (nice animated gif of Pelosi - real classy).

Where's your spin on the British soldiers release? There must be something about it that you can beat on the left for. It's a humiliation for Britain? It's a good example of how Europe is dead? If it weren't for the left, we would have bombed Tehran? What's the holdup? Enquiring minds want to know!

Posted by: extramedium [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 5, 2007 05:07 AM

Mark, just wait six months, then Charlie Sheena will star in an HBO special about this.

extra, if you don't like the content, why stick around? The same reason you stay in America? To bash it freely? Really, dude, if you don't like the content, start your own blog. I'm sure enough kooks will frequent it. Ask winnowhead and HugeWang--aka DAV--they'll tell you how successful kook blogs can be.

You know you have RDS and BDS, extra--it's time to face reality. Just like the rest of the punk kooks who troll here...

keefer-

I actually really enjoy the content here and tell Mark as much quite often. Don't agree with everything, but I love the analysis and the debate that follows. If anybody should start their own blog, it's Mark Noonan - he's carrying all the weight here, from a content standpoint.

I hear you say "go away" quite a bit, but do you really think the blog would be better if the commenters were all in agreement? I've noticed a great deal of dissapointment from the regulars when there's nobody to fight with in the comments section.

Regarding the troop release, I'm not hearing much from American conservative pundits and get the feeling that everybody is waiting for somebody else to say something first - like when the Baker Commission report came out.

If it helps, here's what Rupert Murdoch's papers are saying this morning in London.

Posted by: extramedium [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 5, 2007 05:59 AM

You can bet that Murdoch's London papers will have set the standard & tone for his other outlets to follow. The fact that the incident was settled in a peaceful way without a call to arms ,countless casualties and no blood shed will, no doubt, be bemoaned ad nauseam by the Right.

I love how anytime someone disagrees with Bush or Rove they are deranged. So what is the difference between RDS or BDS and PDS (Pelosi Derangemnt Syndrome) or CDS (Clinton Derangemnt Syndrome). Seems to me they all work the same way.

Posted by: Casper [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 5, 2007 08:54 AM

CO, do you really think this incident is over? Honestly?

Ahmadinejad is a nut, he caved to pressure from other Arab nations and used the pardon as a means of having leftists fawn all over him.

Iran will keep pushing. This time it worked out. Hurray. What will be the outcome next time? And the time after that? This isn't going to stop. Iran is looking to push, Ahmadinejad is looking for a war, looking for bringing in the end times, he believes that is his role.

This was just a feint by Iran. There will be plenty of others.

Ok, so the liberal blogs were "taken in" by a photoshopped photo. So what? How were they to know it had been photoshopped? Remember, there have been some pretty unbelievable photos before that were genuine (Mission accomplished banner, anybody?). Besides, they've all admitted their error. The conservative blogs have consistently told outright lies and when they were called for it, they just ignore it and keep on flogging the (fake) story. But when the liberal blogs make one honest mistake (why was the photo photoshopped by conservatives anyway?)and everybody goes apesh*t on them. It's not like they lied about say, a war, a hurricane, or some other disaster (9/11? Deficit? Attorney firings?), they just thought the photo was real, and reacted accordingly. What were they supposed to do, use their evil psychic powers to sense the photoshop? Ignore it altogether? The conservative blogs should look around for other noise to put out, and stop flogging the "story".

Yeah, let's bomb Iran TODAY!!! We are America, who dares stand before our might??? Look out, Islams, the Great Satan is comin' ta getcha!!!!! Now who's with me?

Posted by: Yeno [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 5, 2007 09:49 AM

Way to deflect from the topic of the thread, boys! LOL! I think it's hilarious the left got punked! Ashton would be proud.

As far as the Iran hostage situation ending peacefully, thank God. Most analysts are saying it's not because of diplomatic talks. It's because the British weren't backing down from the fact their military was NOT in Iran's waters and the USS Nimitz was closing in. A military confrontation with the west would have caused a popular uprising among those (nearly 75%) who want the powers of Iran out, and Khamenei and his followers knew this.

Khamenei's days are numbered and the Iranians who want freedom and democracy will have it. And that will be a good thing for the ME and the West.

Extra,

I don't know why the screwball in charge of Iran decided to let the troops go...though, of course, it has been pointed out that Iran has precisely one (1) gasoline refinery and it is entirely vulnerable to an airstrike...the mullahs might have had to walk to their beheadings and stonings, and that might have had something to do with the troops being let go.

Alternately, part of the Iranian government didn't like this at all - there have been stories of strong opposition within the ruling elite to the "President" of Iran's antics...could be they forced him to disgorge.

We'll know better in 50 years...but, God willing, I'll be safely dead and gone to my reward by then.

GDay: Most of the lefty blogs are saying they knew the photos were fake and just went along with it. LOL!! If you can't laugh at yourself ... geesh!

Great job by the Coptix crew punkin' the deranged lefties.

GdAYmate,
Coptix showed how the lefties are so hell bent on hating Bush/Rove they jumped at using a faked photo to go on attack. Conservative blogs tell outright lies...how bout Dan Rather and CBS running a story using fake documents about President Bush before the 04' elections. The docs were proving fake within 60 minutes of the broadcast...Dan and most lefties still think they are real.

You said about gullible lefties:
"What were they supposed to do, use their evil psychic powers to sense the photoshop?"

How about using a brain?

As my grandma used to say...you need to eat more ruffage, cause your full of s#!%

Anyone falling for the photoshopped picture should be ashamed of themselves and use a little discernment. Rove is a red herring. His credibility is finished, but he is a useful proxie for lefty anger.

Now can we move onto the shameful spectacle of Iran's president mugging for the camera with the British sailors? I would have loved to see one of them spit in his face. Iran is a very dangerous outlaw country, and it backs our boy Maliki in Baghdad. Are we doing the right thing here? The government in Baghdad is not serving us well. Maliki is betraying our troops. Shouldn't we step back and see the big picture here? Iran is a problem. What's the answer? How do we feel that our closest Allies' sailors were kidnapped from international waters by an outlaw nation that threatened to put them on a show trial? By this time next year they might be lynching them from Tehran's lamposts. Teh clock is ticking. Woudln't it be more helpful to put the Sunnis back in power in Baghdad to continue as a counterweight to Iran? People say the surge is working. Violence is decreasing. Great! But as soon as our boys leave Iraqi soil Maliki will turn around and put his hand out for Iranian money.

I love reading the rabid leftist blogs over a hot cup of coffee and a fresh kolache(Czech sweet roll). Not since the tv show Laugh In have I had seen such silliness. Where else can you see blogs so out of touch with reality that they are the jokes of the blogosphere. What I like the best is how they kiss their own asses. I guess I am just jealous, I wish I had that much flexibility.

"Now can we move onto the shameful spectacle of Iran's president mugging for the camera with the British sailors? I would have loved to see one of them spit in his face."

-I agree, that would've been funny. Actually when i saw those pictures of him talking to the british sailors, It gave me chills just putting myself in there shoes. Hostage in Iran, Don't know if/when you're going home. Standing face to face with the man who wants to see the destruction of Israel and Western Civilization. Thats creepy!

Sure he will, if you kooks get your way and we leave before we're through. That's why we've got the big embassy and all them there bases built.

Why are you kooks always so negative?

"Most of the lefty blogs are saying they knew the photos were fake and just went along with it. LOL!! If you can't laugh at yourself ... geesh!"

Well, if they didn't know it was fake, I'll laugh it over, and say whatev. But if they knowingly published a fake photo (though the ones I read have all said they were ignorant) I'll react differently. Try not to wet your pants about it!
