Here's how the right supports the troops in Idaho.
BOISE, Idaho - For years, right wing, gun-toting sport shooters have flouted gun laws in part of Idaho’s high desert by taking pot shots at ground squirrels and other animals.
Now, officials say, they’re also setting their sights on National Guard tanks that train in the area.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilty_by_association
"An association fallacy is a type of logical fallacy which asserts that qualities of one are inherently qualities of another, merely by association. The two types are sometimes referred to as "guilt by association" and "honor by association." Association fallacies are a special case of red herring, and are often based in an appeal to emotion.
Guilt by association, also known as the "bad company fallacy" or the "company that you keep fallacy," is the logical fallacy of claiming that something must be false because of the people or organizations that support it. Some syllogism-like examples are:
* Knut attracted people who took pictures. The people also took pictures of Pan Pan, killing him. Knut killed Pan Pan.
* Some charities have been fraudulent. Therefore charities must be frauds.
* The Nazis supported eugenics. Nazis are evil. Therefore eugenics must be evil.
* Adolf Hitler was a vegetarian. Adolf Hitler was evil. Therefore vegetarianism must be evil."
Terrorists are evil. Some terrorists support Pelosi's future candidacies. Therefore Pelosi is evil. Got it. Thanks for the logic lesson, Leo!

"DAMASCUS (Reuters) - President Bashar al-Assad met a Republican member of the U.S. Congress on Thursday, a day after Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (news, bio, voting record) ended a visit to
Syria that was criticized by the White House.
The official news agency said the meeting between Assad and Darrell Issa (news, bio, voting record), a member of the House Committee on Intelligence, discussed ways to improve relations between Washington and Damascus.
'It is difficult to isolate Syria which is pivotal to finding solutions to all issues in the region,' the Syrian agency quoted Assad as saying. Issa, who is of Lebanese dissent, also met Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem.
More than a dozen U.S. lawmakers have visited Damascus in the last four months and met Assad after the
Iraq Study Group recommended to Republican
President George W. Bush engaging with Damascus and
Iran to help stabilize Iraq."
Lots of lawmakers visiting Assad -- but only one makes the B4B -- I'm shocked -- shocked, I tell yuh.

It doesn't matter what Islamic Jihad or any other terrorists say about wanting Pelosi to continue winning elections. (You'd be in trouble if you listened to every word coming out of these people's mouths anyway.) The American people want Pelosi to keep winning elections, and guess what? It's thier voice that counts!
Pelosi is working a on a dialogue, as are some reasonable Republicans. Bush is fulminating and fustigating, trying to get out a sentence to justify his failing Iraq policy:
"The solution to Iraq, an Iraq that can govern itself, sustain itself, and defend itself, is more than a military mission. Precisely the reason why I sent more troops into Baghdad!"

Of course opening dialog would make sense to these liberals, they have to get rid of all that pent up hot air otherwise they will burst.

For all you libbies who are so concerned about Leo's excellent post, you may recall I posted an extract from that article yesterday in the thread "President Bush Stands Firm"... to which "conscriptor" complained that he needed a link to an AP article.
I'm still working on that, but if the report is true, and I haven't yet found anything saying it isn't, we wouldn't expect the liberal, Democrat lovin' media to be the first to report the story. I forward it to Rush Limbaugh for evaluation, and I'm confident Rush will get to the bottom of the story and let the whole world know if the story is correct.
Rush did note today that Queenie Pelosi isn't the sharpest person around. After talking around the point, I think Rush finally said she was just plain stupid... or something close to that!
Let's hope the report is true, and let's hope Queenie Pelosi took full advantage of all the "photo ops" to have her picture taken with several terrorists (and future terrorists) so she (we) can show the voters in the next election whom she and the Democrats really support!
Just in case Pelosi missed some "official photos" of the terrorists she met, perhaps Rove's Paparazzi got some of the really "good and juicy" photos! Did she check the other members of her "court" for cameras?
I'll e-mail the story to as many people as possible.

Rush Limbaugh noted today, as you have, that Queenie Pelosi's district would never vote her out of office for encouraging and associating with terrorists or undermining the Constitutional duties of the President and State Department -- that would be a plus in their book. They might even hold a parade in her honor on her return.
Hopefully, though, more and more Americans will begin to associate the rest of the DIMocrats with Queenie and her anti-American, pro-terrorist actions for this and equally stupid things which she will do and say in the future! We'll just add this to her pork, peanut, spinach, and cricket program.
Speaking of all that pork, is that how she earned the name Piglosi? Rather appropriate, don't you think!

Kimberly ALWAYS nails it. Raker, on the other hand, while bragging about his attributes, is simply...simple. He manages to completely overlook the implications of "opening up a dialogue" with a terrorist state. Yes, Saint Bill did the same thing, sucking up to Arafat and inviting him to the White House---and yes, we thought THAT was stupid, too. But Bush is the one who is right on this score--we simply do not recognize terorist states, or those who support them.
Naturally, Nan, in her grasp for glory, had to completely misrepresent herself and her authority, in claiming---falsely--that she carried a message from Israel. Ooops. Now that the world has been set straight on that, we'll have to see who else she claims to be quoting. Doesn't this remind you of someone/something? Oh, yes---it was Kerry claiming to have had all those conversations with international leaders who had, by golly, never spoken with him.
Maybe this form of delusion is just another Dem trait, along with believing that raising taxes won't hurt the economy and that some of them can channel messages from dead children (Edwards here). But hey, Hillary channeled Eleanor Roosevelt, so why not?
It is amusing to watch these silly Lefties posture as statesmen, when all they do merely points out that they don't have a clue. And it's entertaining to watch those who shriek and moan and snivel about anything being unconstitutional, when antics like Nan's prove that they have no idea whatsoever of what the constitution really says or how it assigns duties, responsibilities, and power to which branches of government.

From Leo's article:
WorldNetDaily: JERUSALEM – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit today to Syria – in which she called for dialogue with Damascus – was "brave" and "very appreciated" and could bring about "important changes" to America's foreign policy, including talks with "Middle East resistance groups," according to members of terror organizations here whose top leaders live in Syria.
One terror leader, Khaled Al-Batch, a militant and spokesman for Islamic Jihad, expressed hope Pelosi would continue winning elections, explaining the House speaker's Damascus visit demonstrated she understands the Middle East. [..]
"Nancy Pelosi understands the area (Middle East) well, more than Bush and Dr. (Condoleeza) Rice," said Al-Batch, speaking to WND from Gaza. "If the Democrats want to make negotiations with Syria, Hamas, and Hezbollah, this means the Democratic Party understands well what happens in this area and I think Pelosi will succeed. ... I hope she wins the next elections."
Islamic Jihad has carried out scores of shootings and rocket attacks, and, together with the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group, has taken responsibility for every suicide bombing in Israel the past two years.

Well we are hear the reports from Iraq from CNN's Mr Ware....
How about from a BBC reporter, this time
Ramadi, Anbar province. "The worst place in the world."
That is how a Marine sergeant described it to me once.
It was last year. We were at a landing strip in Fallujah just 30 miles away, talking as we waited for helicopters.
He had served in both places. Ramadi had been far worse, he said, glad to be on his way home.
"We were attacked every day. It was insane," the sergeant said, shaking his head. "We lost a lot of guys."
and now??
A local council of tribal sheikhs, who have come out against al-Qaeda, has been set up to co-ordinate local needs.
US money is going into new schools and literacy projects. New police stations are being established.
"Security is better," the local commander, Lt Col Clifford Wheeler, says.
"The units in this area last year were being IED'd [targeted by improvised explosive devices] on a daily basis. Now we can go most places round here without being attacked."
But there are still threats.
Some of his soldiers were caught by a suicide bomber on the northern edge of Ramadi last Friday who used chlorine gas, one of several similar attacks in recent weeks.

"...her act of insolent treason brought anarchy to American foreign policy. Pelosi was praised by leaders of the terrorist groups Islamic Jihad and the al Aksa Martyrs Brigade, as reported by WorldNetDaily. These two organizations have carried out every recent terrorist attack in Israel and are based in Syria ... Pelosi also found praise from former President Jimmy Carter, who recently wrote a book in support of the Palestinian terrorists."
"Strange how praise for Pelosi’s visit with one of the world’s foremost sponsors of terrorism is coming from the terrorists themselves and a former U.S. President whose bungling of foreign policy thirty years ago accelerated the development of modern terrorism..."
"...an example of just how far off track Pelosi is: The Washington Post reports that Pelosi announced she delivered a message to Assad from Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that 'Israel was ready to engage in peace talks' with Syria. She also announced that Assad was ready to 'resume the peace process.' The problem: Olmert, according to his office, never entrusted any such message to Pelosi. Olmert’s office told Pelosi that Assad often has said he wanted peace, but there has been no change in his country’s peace policy. The Post concluded, 'In other words, Ms. Pelosi not only misrepresented Israel's position but was virtually alone in failing to discern that Mr. Assad's words were mere propaganda.'”
"...the Constitution has granted foreign policy power to the chief executive of the nation -- the President -- for a reason. And the problem is that there are so many 1960’s radical anarchist communist-influenced politicians in Congressional leadership that they believe their personal missions far outweigh the laws of the land. Pelosi not only committed an act of treason by going against American policy toward an enemy during a time of war, she also misrepresented the position of another country to a terrorist-sponsoring regime."

(until they delete this comment)
LOL Wow, CO that was profound. I am sure they would just welcome you with open arms over there. Just like the did Pearle. [/sarcasim]
How does it not register that the Islamic Facists have so much in common with the words of the Democrats? How do you ignore that they extoll the same things against the Bush administration? They know the media and they are using it along with the Dems as a weapon, and liberals just don't see it.
Amazing.
Pelosi does not set policy. Pelosi does not have control over foreign affairs. She is undermining the Presidentcy, and yet you leftists don't give a wit.
Gar Wood
I bet you are the only kid in the 7th grade named Leo. That is an awfully grown-up name for a youngster. That is a pretty good website for a kid though.
One can only hope Raker13 says what he means. He never adds to the debate anyway, unless you want to count his childish rants.
Kimberly,
Your so cool. When I grow up, I want to be just like you. You keep setting us libs straight. Like a terrorist, I take it with a grain of salt and consider the source.
Kisses.
-President Bu**sh**, Fort Irwin, CA 4/4/07
Is this any surprise? Jihad has no greater ally than Piglosi.
Tell ya what, let Piglosi keep talking with terrorists, having her debate, let her keep doing so till the terrorists get tired of her rhetoric and do as the always do. OFF WITH HER HEAD!
Of course opening dialog would make sense to these liberals, they have to get rid of all that pent up hot air otherwise they will burst.
I bet the dialog that Richard Pearle had with his captors was quite open and loverly.
Raker shows its true colors:
No wonder "The Rake" supports San Fran Nan.
Come on now, I'm a God fearin', taxpayin', married with two children, truck driven' (GMC), blue collar workin' shotgun ownin' jockstrap wearin' symbol of all American manhood. You misconstrue my intent.
To clarify, I was comparing Kimberly to a terrorist and was taking "her" with a grain of salt.
Kisses.
Leave it to these wingers to start calling everyone who sees the Iraq war for what it truly is (a failure) terrorist sympathizers and pro-terrorist. If you people really believe that Democrats support terrorists than you need to come up with some facts and stop lying about them. Just because we dont agree with your war in Iraq doesn't mean we support terror. It's no different than us calling you fascists or Nazi's. How does that feel?
Raker's explanation on his terrorist remark reminds me of John F. Traitor Kerry's explanation for his botched joke.
Yeno says ... "The American people want Pelosi to keep winning elections." LMAO.
Sadly, a majority of Americans had no idea who Pelosi was or knew anything about her record. Now that they're seeing the big picture, I doubt she'll be in that seat for long.
Kimberly nails it. Nice explanation, Rake. NOT. No kisses for you.
AAR
Kimberly4bush will have to move to San Francisco if she wants to vote Pelosi out of office. I'm sure that'd go over big. Or the GOP has to win Congress back, and good luck doing that with Bu**sh** in the driver's seat, driving fast toward a brick wall! He'll parachute out at the last minute (he always finds a way to stay out of danger) but the Repubs in Congress will feel the burn for a long time. Must be why they're twitching now.
(Also enjoying the radio silence on the Iran / British sailors situation. Talking points haven't been issued to right-wing bloggers yet? Let's ask Maliki what he thinks. He cares more about what Ahmadinejad says than Bush anyway.)
Thanks, Psycheout. BTW, I like your blog and Brownback too. But ... can he beat Hillary?

Kimberly,
Let's hope he does!
America could use a good Christian!

Yeno,
Rush Limbaugh noted today, as you have, that Queenie Pelosi's district would never vote her out of office for encouraging and associating with terrorists or undermining the Constitutional duties of the President and State Department -- that would be a plus in their book.
AAR
"Yet, this is the United States of America and you have the right to freedom of expression. You have the right to blog as you wish."
Why not call "Soviet Socialist America" Raker?
Cause that's where America is headed with you 'Lunatic Lefties'.
You have the right to 'free expression', that is everyones God given right, but, does that give you an excuse to say anything you please no matter who it hurts??
Just remember this, Raker....The rhetoric you speak of concerning "resolve" or "dialog" isn't worth the salt in your bread...which makes Mrs. Piglosi insane!
Jeremiah
Thanks so much Kimberly. Can Brownback beat the Shrillary? Hmmm. Can you say statistical tie without the MSM pimping Brownback like they do the Clinton thing? Sure you can!
It's way too early to write off Brownback like the media would like you to. Wait and see. Better yet, support and see.
Good to see you again, Jeremiah. Long time lurker. ;-)
Almiranta! I am so glad to see you posting! How are you? You've been in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks for the link to your post on Brownback, Psycheout. I will definitely support him.
Almiranta in her eloquence always nails it to the wall. Heh. I'm glad you're on the right side!
And you're always welcome, Kimberly. I hope you join in the discussion over at the other B4B!
Kimberly,
Your so cool.
Raker,
You're a moron. Learn word usage, bub...
Keefer ... what took you so long! LOL!
"Deleted - commenter just making a leftwing mess in our conservative house."
Excellent.
"Good to see you again, Jeremiah. Long time lurker."
Good to see you too, Psycheout.
It's good to see all of you, my conservative friends out there who are willing to fight for a worthy cause.

C'mon, guys and gals, this is history we're talkin' about here. Speaker Mimi Piglosi is the first female Speaker in U.S. history. Not only that, she's the first female Speaker to appoint herself Secretary of State, and Israeli Prime Minister. History, I tell ya!!!
She needs to grow a few more heads, with all the hats she wears...
From Leo's article:
Agreed, Kimberly4bush nails it. This is the picture of Nancy Al-Pelosi that Americans will remember-Pelosi in a Hijab
Pelosi did this for one reason. To undermine the current US President George Bush.
The democrats have absolutely no respect for the man, none.
I hope when he has left office he one day gets the last laugh on those that spent everyday prosecuting him.
Leo, Keefer, Does this website put into words what you really want to express?

I don't get it, I was under the impression that y'all thought you had a good Christian in Bush. Perhaps, Jeremiah, you meant to say 'America could use (another) good Christian'?
Also, when you say:-
"You have the right to 'free expression', that is everyones God given right, but, does that give you an excuse to say anything you please no matter who it hurts??"
Then after those chastising remarks, you go on to do the very thing you accuse him of:-
"Just remember this, Raker....The rhetoric you speak of concerning "resolve" or "dialog" isn't worth the salt in your bread...which makes Mrs. Piglosi insane!"
What's up with that, Jeremiah?
It appears I've had my hammer out a lot today! ;-)
BTW, neorads, I don't have a problem with Pelosi wearing the headdress in a mosque. However, wearing it all over Syria was not necessary and it was seen as a defeat for the Syrian women. Of course, we should not digress from the main issue ... and that is Pelosi being in Syria to begin with.
I like this one too...
http://www.wdcmedia.com/newsArticle.php?ID=2998

Try previewing your post next time, Rake. Heh, the vaunted eloquence of the left.
Wade spouts: "I am sure that terrorists, such as Al Qaeda, would love to have foolish presidents like Bush in office forever."
Wasn't it AQ's 2nd in command announcing with glee the Democrats victory in '06? Shame on you, Wade, for distorting the truth with vicious lies. You know darn well terrorists hope and pray to Allah every day that a wimpy Democrat takes the W.H. in '08. God help America if that happens.

The Lord does work in mysterious ways. I feel I am falling into the abyss, the abyss of liberal thinking. Falling deeper and deeper into the evil, intolerant, traitorous, democratic ways.
Using the "F" word more than I should.
When who comes back from his 40 days and 40 nights is the one and only Jeremiah! Back to save me! Save me o' anointed one.

Glad your back Jeremiah.

You can question Bush on many things but never question his faith. You could not fathem the responsibilty that man has on a daily basis.
I guess with your savior Bill Clinton a day in the office was as good as a blow job. This President is tacking what is tough and that is not easy.
Ridicule him, make fun of him all you want but every day he wakes up, he wakes up to protect your ass, which by the way has been pretty safe for 6 years. Unlike the Clinton years...
I absolutely love Nancy Pelosi. I have struggled with low self esteem issues for years and have lacked confidence in my abilities and intelligence. However, after seeing the Speaker of the House oblivious to the fact that she was being used as a pawn in a chess game has given me newfound confidence in my ability to reason, discern and think. Thank you Speaker Pelosi.

Speaker Piglosi is acting in a subversive manner. It's as if she's starting an anarchistic movement, along with her toy-boy Harry Reid-tard. Two lightweights amongst giants...
"You can question Bush on many things but never question his faith. You could not fathem the responsibilty that man has on a daily basis."
Can you give an AMEN! One of the things I don't question is GWB's faith. I feel assured that as he goes through his day, he continually asks himself,"what would Jesus do?" and then goes out and does it.
Truly, he is a fine example of home bred Christianity.
I feel assured that as he goes through his day, he continually asks himself,"what would Jesus do?" and then goes out and does it.
I feel assured that as Raker goes through his day, he continually asks himself,"what would Pee-Wee Herman do?" and then goes out and does it.
Stay out of peep shows, Raker...
One positive note, whether you agree or not with who made the statement, at least the Speakers visit has the potential to open dialog and start reasonable diplomatic discussion to resolve the incredible nightmare George W. Bush has wrought.
