Whoa whoa whoa! Are you saying the Washington Post put out a front page article with incorrect quotes on it, and then put a small retraction on it? Is that what you're saying?
I'm shocked! Shocked I say! I mean, doesn't the Post have layers or "editorial process" to keep things like that from happening? That's okay though, they were probably just being sloppy that day.

I personally don't give a crap about the W.Post. I don't read it, nor do I intend to. I agree to use Levins quotes as they did is shameful. Done.
Let's cut to the chase. Feith KNEW the intelligence did not support the connection. He knew when he doctored up the report to his superiors. His office produced fake results that although not illegal, were certainly "inappropriate".
Cut the crap, you know what Feith and his office did. Don't try to schmooze it over.
It WAS WRONG. PERIOD. Don't make excuses. IT WAS WRONG.
So there won't be any recommendations because we "learned" from all this, and our intelligence community is better for it.
As always, spare me.

"For the same reason a lot of people were wrong. You know, we—the intelligence information that we got was wrong. I mean, tragically wrong. On top of that I’d—beyond that, I went back to former Clinton administration officials who gave me sort of independent information about what they believed about what was happening with Saddam’s weapon—weapons programs. They were also wrong. "

You slurp up a load of garbage, day in and day out, we can't expect you to produce anything else. You've yet to let the truth about anything sway you from your appointed All Hate All The Time course, and it's not going to happen now.
But take a breath, take a pill, wipe the hysterical spittle off your chin, and calm down. Grab some fresh Fruit of the Looms, do some deep cleansing breaths. Yes, it felt good to really let go. But it was kind of embarrassing to watch.
An anti-American, anti-Bush, radical made comments which presented his OPINION. Levin did not state fact. He stated what he wanted to believe, needed to believe, to support his position, and called it fact. I know, I know, you guys do that all the time, and you all think it is fine, and just as good as the truth. But it isn't.
I don't "condone" lies because I don't think Feith lied. Simple as that. He offered his opinions. Some agreed with his assessment, some didn't. Oh, my. Sure, I could choose to buy into every wild-ass LLL conspiracy-theory fact-denying anti-conservative rant, but to do so I would have to deny or ignore years---YEARS---of commentary from international intelligence agencies (some of whom were hardly Bush supporters) and foreign leaders and conservative leaders here in the U.S. and Liberal leaders here in the U.S. and our own intelligence agencies and the United Nations and just about every human being on the planet who actually took the time to look into what was happening in Iraq. And why would I do that? Why would I even be tempted to ignore/deny the casdade of FACT? Because to pay attention to this overwhelming agreement on the dangers of Sadaam's Iraq would be to take a position which would not advance the BS agenda---and that's all it takes for the BS groupies.
Why don't you and PM and the other LLLs here go back and find some reports from, say, 1998, or 2000, or even 2001, from any reputable source, explaining that Sadaam was really a great guy, he was never supporting terrorism in any way, he was never trying to build a nuclear weapon, he had never built much less used chemical or biological weapons, he had never been involved in any way in any acts of international terrorism, and so on. NOT claims after the fact, mind you, but claims made before we decided to shut him down.
The only way to believe the weird delusional twisted fantasy you LLL call history is to simply refuse to acknowledge the truth. Which is what you do. We get it. You really don't need to keep proving it to us.
Why don't you just stick to your own kind, in your own little circle jerks, where you can high-five each other and admire your political acumen and trade Hate-Fill-In-The-Blank stories and invent horrid tales of who did what to whom when and why, and leave us alone? Because your frantic and hysterical defense of your frantic and hysterical cronies is, to put it bluntly, frantic and hysterical. And silly. Such a silly silly boy. But there are other silly silly boys who probably think you are really really great. Go find them. They are not here.

"Silly twits"
Well, yes, Bush did lie about the WMD. It's a matter of public record.
I remember when they were talking it up and telling tales of mushroom clouds, and making a direct connection between the war on terrorists and invading Iraq.
I remember thinking that it was going to be a tiger-by-the-tail situation, and that no good would come of it. I remember thinking, "you guys better find those WMD, or your credibility is down the toilet." But at the time I didn't know they were lying, so I thought they would find the WMD.
Then George Bush "decided" that finding WMD wasn't important, that finding Bin Laden wasn't important, and I began to realize there was a whole other agenda regarding the invasion of Iraq that wasn't being addressed. I'm still not sure what that agenda is, but I know it has nothing to do with fighting terrorism. That was just a little story he told us.
