Hell, I'd support a "windfall fundraising" tax... the amount of money spent on these elections is obscene...

Mr Noonan,
What are you going to call this site in 2009?
And more on topic, no. What, that block of Southern Baptists thinking of starting their own political party got you worried the GOP will be missing several hundred millions this fundraising cycle?
No sense in printing those church voter guides in 2008 that will save your side some cash.
Qu'ul cuda praedex nihil!

Cavalor,
We're working on the transition to the post-Bush era - this blog will go on, continuing to fight the battles we've fought over the past 6 years.
As for the Southern Baptists starting their own political party - I haven't heard any such thing.

I'm glad to hear that Mr Noonan I would hate to think of a blogosphere without you. Though I often, well always, think you are wrong you are spirited in your dedication to your ideology and that is the essence of all great Americans from Lincoln to both Roosevelts and Truman and Kennedy to Johnson to Reagan and finally Clinton.
We do get whispers in DC from our sources from time to time that Brownback has been approached by Dobson's people with the support of many evangelical deep pockets. We have met many dead ends (most saying "how interesting!") trying to confirm, however.
