Cheap labor? At what cost?

Think illegal immigration is a good deal?

Check out this site to see how much money illegal immigration actually takes out of our wallets.

Nice site I like it. Lots of interesting bits of information there. Personally I once agian think we should follow Joe Arpaio's example and lock up all the ones we fine in tents near the border. Costs so much less to keep them in tents then in our jails.

As a work detail, how about getting captured illegals to clean up some of that 25 million pounds of trash that they've dumped in the AZ desert? (Ain't it interesting how the environuts who go ape[bleep] over the mere mention of drilling in ANWR can't seem to mutter a peep about illegal alien-deposited waste?)

Can we draft Arpaio to be Tancredo's running mate?

I think ole Joe's got the exact solution to many of the illegal problems. Also, people who think that tired excuse "They do the jobs that Americans
don't want to do"...is bullshit. Just look at the many, many illegals that are in roofing, construction, restaurant positions, and so on...
THESE ARE THE JOBS THAT LEGAL AMERICANS(AND SO MANY THAT ARE ON THE WELFARE DOLE COULD DO) SHOULD
BE DOING. "NOT ILLEGALS".

So that tired rhetoric about them "picking crops,
is long gone---that is NOT what they are only here doing, while they are also on all our welfare
programs. I like Joe and Tancrado..they KNOW what the illegals are doing to our country and imposing on our taxpaying citizens, who must pick up the tabs for all the costs of them breaking our laws. This has to be stopped.

*Chuckles*

Saw the Sheriff on Neal Cavuto (I believe) and he was asked if he'd take on higher office. He said anything else would be a demotion for him because he would no longer be at the front and arresting and holding illegals and criminals.

I remember when one of my sisters was living in El Paso. They went looking at houses to buy, and all the construction workers spoke Spanish. When she and her family moved to Austin they noticed that the construction workers all spoke English. I bet that has changed by now. I know that when one of my neighbor's hired roofers, the main boss was English speaking, the actual roofers - Hispanic.

We won't even get into the meat packing business. There is a definite reason that the big raid recently was against a meat processing company. We still have a reasonably good meat packing business in the Omaha area, but most of the workers are Hispanic because the wages start at about $9 an hour. In the union heyday they started at arount $12 I am told. Given inflation, just think how high that would be. Of course the illegal advocates would remind us of how high the beef costs would be. Last time I bought beef, it was a lesser cut, I can't afford the good stuff anymore.
