I've just been confirmed to appear on "World Have Your Say," a program on BBC World Service in London. We will discussing Barack Obama, and answering the question, "Is America ready for a black president?" It should airing around 1:30pm Eastern Time.
For my recent commentaries on Obama, read:
Barack Hussein Obama: The Feel-Good-About-Yourself Candidate
What Will Be Obama's Campaign Strategy
UPDATE: Well, that's done now. I didn't get to speak very long this time, so I didn't get to go into much detail about my thoughts on Obama's chances. But my response boiled down to this: Yes, America is ready for a black president, but Obama is not ready to be president, nor would America vote for Obama.

Democrats; A Lot of Wind, Still No Plan
Democrats stormed the castle, then sat and scratched their wooden heads. “What to do now?” has become the commonly used phrase among Democrats, especially during a time when they must keep up the drum beat, of political war, against their defeated brother (the GOP).
Democrats accused the Bush administration of winning the war, then not having a plan in the aftermath. Well, I say it’s time we accuse the Democrats of winning the election and then having, absolutely no plan, of what to do in the aftermath.
So far nothing, in the best interest of the American people, is on the table. Pelosi’s political scurry to the middle will be short lived. Bidon’s glorified cut and run plan will be to his detriment. This because, over the course of the next 6 months or so, we as the public will come to the stark realization that Bush was right. Democrats will have to publicly admit this or carry the responsibility of disaster by cutting and running.

Will, are you insane? ;-) The dems will NEVER publicly admit they have no plan, EVER. Never ever never never ever.
Look at this horrifing bit of political maneuvering known as the 'We Dont Support' symbolic vote; no pol will put their '08 reelection bid on the line with a real measure so they have a symbolic vote instead, and Im sad to say this includes a few repubs.
Then in 2008 they can righteously proclaim they were always against the war, as evidenced by this symbolic vote, while conveniently sidestepping the question of why they didnt simply defund it.

Most notably, RINO Chuck Hagel. I heard this jerk today say that he'll do whatever he can to stop the President from going through with this surge.
Hagel's co-sponsoring some non-binding resolution that disapproves the surge--this is all he can do? Hello? And this kook wants to run in '08? God, we're in trouble; we may as well hand Hitlery the throne now...
