Murtha has sent out another email begging support of Democrats. Some of the nonsense he says in it is most laughable. he must have totally forgotten much of what he and fellow Democrats have been saying for the past 3 years now:

Why do Republicans do this to veterans? It is just disgusting. Swift-boating will not work against Rep. Murtha. Even Republicans Warner and Hagel are backing a Murtha style redeployment.
The Republican agenda: No WMD's –> Duke Cunningham –> Abu Ghraib –> Secret Prisons –> Warrantless Wiretapping –> Katrina Response–> Abramoff –> Torture –> Foleygate –> North Korea sets off its first Nuke–> Weldon Swindle. Need I say more. Vote Republican endanger a child!
