ANNOUNCEMENT: Matt Margolis & Mark Noonan get a book deal!

October 16, 2006
The liberal media wages Propaganda War.

Q: When do you know that a lie is being perpetrated by the MSM during election season?
A: Every time you turn on the TV or read a newspaper.

It has come to my attention, now more than ever, that the dinosaur media will pull out all the stops to push their political proclivities to a successful fruition.

Even in my home state of Minnesota, the Minneapolis Star Tribune continues to do their level best to put out numbers that would lead any thinking person to scratch their head in wild-eyed amazement. Take, for instance, the Minnesota gubernatorial race. The wildly successful current GOP governor, Tim Pawlenty, took Minnesota from a 4+billion dollar deficit four years ago to a current budget surplus, without raising state income or sales taxes. Yet a recent poll in the Star Tribune shows Attorney General Mike Hatch leading Pawlenty 46 to 37 percent. In order to believe this poll of 818 voters, one would have to suspend belief and subscribe to the notion that Pawlenty has such poor polling numbers, despite the fact that he has a 56 percent job approval rating!

And even today, the bearded, birkenstock-wearing grey lady falsely claimed that the RNC has conceded the Ohio Senate Race. RNC official Patrick Ruffini flat out denies this, noting that

"...the RNC has spent more money on Ohio than any other state. That level of spending will continue.
The notion that the RNC is pulling out of Ohio is just dead wrong."
Indeed. Bottom line, fellow GOPers, is that the dinosaur media sharks, perhaps now more than ever since smelling blood, are ready to pull out all the stops to try to ensure a low conservative voter turnout on November 7th, whether it be by oversampling in polls, or just flat-out lying.

Don't fall for it. Don't even be tempted.
In this, as in any election, turnout is everything.

If you don't turn out, not only does the RNC lose, we all lose.
And on top of that, you'll have the dubious distinction of having been duped by the same folks that history has proven time and time again to be flat out liars.

If you plan on not voting in order to "teach those republicans a lesson," the republicans won't be the only ones paying dearly for the experience.

Think about it.

In a prior post, I made the comment about the GOP
needing to "take off the gloves, and get down and dirty as their opposition does on a daily basis, WITH the help of the MSM". I mentioned that the days of President Bush and his staff, 'remaining the gentlemen/women that they are, is not good enough now---they are going to get beaten, if they
don't step up to the plate, and fight like street
fighters as do the Dems' It does NOT make the President/Administration like the hateful, lying Dems, but what it does in fighting back, is going at it to "beat them at their own game". When the daily attacks happen, the GOP, needs to answer the
lies and distortions, IMMEDIATELY, as when they don't answer these attacks, it then appears to be
believed as truth. In fact, if the GOP doesn't step up to the plate, then they WILL lose at the upcoming elections. I hope ALL Republicans will get out to vote, as this is something the Donks DON'T WANT, as they think they have smeared our party to the point, where our voters will be disgusted and not get out to vote. They have never known how to win elections on plans and good ideas, only in smearing and whinning about the GOP, so that should tell us all something about WHO we are up against, and I hope the GOP is
doing all it can to counter these personal attacks
and the Donk's partner....The MSM.

leo,

Its all they've got - the hope that we'll stay home. That is precisely why the story came out that we're pulling out of Ohio...because they want Ohio GOPers to think that its all over, and thus don't even bother to show up on November 7th...

The only possible way to get to Speaker Pelosi is for a massive number of GOPers to stay home - this because we heavily outnumber Democrats, and even if the Donks are energised (and they're not), a high Donk turnout still won't do the trick...they've got to keep us at home, too.

Aside from the well known bias of poll demographics by most MSM polls (sampling many more dems than republicans) it turns out that there is another factor which affects the accuracy of polls.

The respondent rate of polls is typically about 33%. That is, traditionally only 1/3 of those polled actually choose to answer. The respondent rate has now dropped to 20%. The significance of this is that there is a much greater margin of error in the result for several reasons:

a. At 20% respondent, the sample may no longer be statistically representative of the population.

b. Those responding may not be representative of those polled. For example if those polled are 30% Republican, 34% Democrat and 36% Independent, the 20% responding may actually represent a more skewed percentage given that disaffected Dems and Independents are more likely to want to express their dissatisfaction and Republicans may not be so inclined. (I know that I no longer answer phone polls).

c. The lower respondent rate reflects either apathy or disgust with the polling process or the political process or both. So it is quite likely that a percentage of those polled will give misleading answers.

All of this leads to a reduced reliability of polling data, as has been seen in the last three elections. This has led BDS and to defeatocrat conspiracy blogs and theories about stolen elections, Diebold, etc, etc, ad nauseum.

So don't be surprise if the results of the elections are far different than what the polls predict.

The country has already had a taste of what would be in store with these Leftie/Libs: Higher Taxes,
in undoing the taxes returned by President Bush.
Pelosi, with all her ranting as Speaker---and worst of worst: Hillary, in all her (hidden Leftist ways-trying to pretend to be in the 'middle of the road politically speaking)rants
and lies over so many years. Again, if you really need to learn more about this liar, you need to pick up the latest: "A Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Dossier on Hillary"....
And then.....if after this, you don't get yourself
and every Republican voter out to the polls in
the upcoming elections, well, that will be your losses over and over again. Vote Republican on These Elections, and do what you can to volunteer!

Tim Pawlenty, took Minnesota from a 4+billion dollar deficit four years ago to a current budget surplus

Huh? And this is supposed to be a good thing???? Now you've got me scratching my head.

Absolutely!

Wilhelm--Yes, I'd say erasing a 4+ billion dollar deficit for a state the size of Minnesota in less than four years is a good thing.

phnx,

And lets never forget that the polls come to us courtesy of the "fake but accurate" MSM...

Posted by: Mark Noonan [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 17, 2006 01:42 AM

Orange: If you are THAT stupid not to see the good side of a 4+Billion Deficit being brought to a current surplus for Mn. then, WHAT do YOU call
a better scenerio? You just can't give a good comment about anything that might be aligned with
the Bush Presidency can you in your hatred?

to try to ensure a low conservative voter turnout on November 7th

That is what the Dems are banking on. All their predictions of Democratic victories and sweeps of the Senate and House are based on low Republican turnout. We can prove them wrong real quickly. Just show up.
