I've been pretty busy this weekend trying to catch up on some book stuff and school work -- yes, I am still a graduate student... where I find the time for everything I don't know, so feel free to talk about anything you like here.
UPDATE, by Mark Noonan, 12:35am EDT: I'm baaack...been away for an extended weekend. I only make note of this because some of our lefty posters have tried to imply that I've been afraid to respond to their comments: nothign doing. Just been away...sometimes, ya know, you have to downtime it a bit from politics and news and, indeed, everything except God and those you love the most. So, back in to the battle for me!

Since Kerry is making the rounds, acting as if he will try again, I checked back in my files and have noticed John Kerry’s Never Ending Campaign
As we all saw during 2004, hte guy speaks with a forked tongue and can't remember his own words.

I recently read that Marine 1st Sgt. (now Sgt. Major) Kasel got the Navy Cross for his actions in Fallujah. I'm glad. But I think he rated the Medal of Honor.
It will be interesting to see whether the 2nd Class Petty Officer SEAL who recently jumped on a grenade to save his team will get it. I hope he, well his family does.
There has bean a dreadful lack of reporting on the war in Iraq outside the body counts. I reccomend visiting myspace and searching on phrases like "Fallujah Marines" or "Marines in Iraq" or "Soldiers in Iraq". It is a whole side of the story that noone is telling.

Does anybody on the left care at all about the preborn children getting aborted every day - 3000 a day in this great land?
