As noted in a previous post, I picked up Orthodoxy by G K Chesterton yesterday. Until this purchase, I had never actually read any of Chesterton's works - but I am immediately impressed.
Thoroughly worldly people never understand even the world; they rely altogether on a few cynical maxims which are not true.
Methinks I'm in for a treat...

If you can, get his Heretics and The Everlasting Man.
I prefer his Father Brown stories, but that's just me.

Hick,
I think I'll eventually be getting everything he wrote...I'm further in to the book now, and just enjoying it more and more.

I told you so! Check out: http://www.chesterton.org/
Also, "The Everlasting Man", "Whats Wrong With the World.", and "The Man Who Was Thursday." I would also suggest reading anything by Hilaire Belloc. Especially his almost prophectic warnings about militant Islam.
I have read Orthodoxy about a dozen times. Every time, it gets better, as I absorb more and more of it. Also, I find new, great quotes each time. I have highlighted so much of that book, it is just ridiculus. A quick note on the book:
