Mark:
I am in total agreement with what you said. They are clearly full of hate for George Bush. And they can't even see it they are so blinded by their rage. They make Republican anger over Bill Clinton look like a love-in.
However, I checked both electoral-vote.com and electionprojection.com (one is by a Dem. and the other by a Rep.). Interesting enough they have the same result, Republicans keeping both the House and Senate.
However, I think it's going to be a close run thing. There is a lot to be angry over... and I really do believe turnout will be VERY low...which is the worst thing for the Republic.
But who knows... there are a lot wiser pols then me... I'm more of a chief of staff type. I get things done, I don't really enjoy the campaigning.

Several years ago, I was driving home from work and listening to NPR on the radio. They did a heavily biased anti-gun story that just infuriated me. I actually stopped at a gun store on the way home and asked them if they had any NRA membership applications. They did, and I joined.
The recent attacks on George Allen have brought me to a similar anger point. A friend is working on his camp[aign and i told him I'd sign up to help and donate money. I'm sick of the hate and hypocracy of the left.

Don't you just HATE the left.
James, I can't speak for Kahn, but I don't hate the Left. I have some good friends who are left of center, one couple in particular that's quite far left; but we're still friends. We share a lot of common interests -- politics just isn't one of them. We both think the President is a liar, although in my case I'm referring to President Clinton and they're referring to President Bush -- all in the eye of the beholder, I guess. They are both university professors while my wife and I own a small business. We just have totally different world views -- theirs is very idealistic and somewhat detached from reality while ours is based, to a great extent the real world. I really do detest some of their beliefs, but we're still friends. I don't expect you to understand that.

LOL ... that's right, it's those left-wing-nuts that heard the warnings about 9/11 and did nothing about them - they screwed-up Iraq too, and it wasn't Frist that just said the Taliban should be part of Afghanistan’s political process! And Katrina, all the lefties - and Foley? All the lefts fault! If it wasn't for Clinton's example of moral ineptitude Foley never would be a child predator. Yup, what with the left being in total control of all branches of the government over the past 6 years ... ah, what's that? Ah, you mean ... ah, all this happened under republican rule?
Ah ... never mind...

That's funny, Mark.
Over half the posts on Blogs for Bush RIGHT NOW are strictly anti-democrat posts, with titles like "The Al-Queda wing of the Democratic Party." (I'm just judging this from the titles, mind you, reading all your posts reveals that roughly 90% of them are reallyh about how bad Democrats are.) For a website that's supposed to be about Bush, written by members of a party that's supposed to be about ideas, there's really nothing here besides rants against Democrats.
So too with your posters. The majority really only spout the same garbage about Democrats being evil terrorist-loving immoral commies.
And really, why wouldn't it be like this? What ideals are left that your party hasn't trashed? Small government? Dead. Balanced budget? Dead. Strong national security? Dead. Moral? Heterosexual? Dead, dead, dead.
All you've got left is crazy rants against Democrats. You know it, I know it, everyone here knows it. Just accept it and move on, you'll be happier that way...

What will win?
Well, the way I see it, those of us who think in a positive, Caring and helpful manner, common sense really!
I can't understand why democrats won't drop the foolishness of trying to take God out of govenment and public places, the hate directed towards Christians is just UNREAL!
Why do they want to SHOVE GOD OUT??????????
God is the realness of what makes society tick, He's what makes people get along together in a unified and together approach to the problems that face each and every person here!
God embraces each life with equal pride in that persons being, because He made that person to Glorify Him!
America has some REAL problems that face it, and a larger part of those problems is the fanatical democrats attempts at changing the part of Good that is taking effect in order to tear this Great Nation down!...and future things that will be put before congress to be enacted upon!
I was discussing some things with a person this evening regarding the fight against liberalism, and he said something to the effect, Don't you get tired of all that hate? and I told that person that, In my heart and mind it really does'nt matter what the left says to try and degrade me or other conservatives, because all the left does when they bash me and the President they prove themselves to be true FOOLS! Because, I know, in my heart, what is right, and true.
Many comments by the left on this blog and all other political blogs on the WWW that I read are directed in a direct personal attack against that person for thier beliefs!
And you know, when a person takes a hit by a liberal who is attacking him personally he should defend himself, atleast that's the way I see it. As long as a person wants to comment, should just comment on the particular subject the author has chosen to write, and directed in a manner in which it does not offend the author. If the author chooses to respond to that particular person's comment then by all means resume in a mannerly fashioned discussion.
Although we really should not take things in a personal sense, we should always be mindful of any person or persons responses and feelings! If one person shoud get too hateful and spiteful then there should be a quick and strict reprimand and warning of their particular brand of offensive, and if needed a banning, which I find many on this blog who should not be associated with due to, too much personally directed hate, especially those who attack the President and Christians.
I probably take things too personally, but most of the time, I think of others as much as possible. Although one must defend his own belief system if anything is to be accomplished, and that's why I know I must do my part to help in the fight against liberalism, and to combat it in a considerate manner!
Above all, the most important thing in my life is that I know Jesus Christ, and I want to know his plan more for my life, and how I can help others, If I can't help you, that is ALL that matters to me!. Nothing will give "peace" like knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Savior!
I mean that!
That's why we need God fearing Congress men and women, and Presidents in our White House like George W. Bush, who understands the daily struggles that individuals endure on a personal level, someone who understands that it is tough in this ol world!
You know, I don't know of any two couples as this Nations Presidecy that has been as Warm, Kind, Caring and Considerate hearted with the American people as George and Laura Bush! You know why? Because they have kept Christ as the center of their family and He has given them that peace that passes all understanding, and my what a JOY it is to have such Wonderful to have them as our Congressional leaders! Man I am REALLY, REALLY THANKFUL!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!
So here is my wish"
I just wish one thing, that the democrats would stop the foolish attacks against our Nation's President, and I just PRAY that the democrats who come here to this site would STOP the foolish attacks against the authors and other commenters!
And Wade buddy, if your reading this? 90% percent of it is directed at you, especially the bottom line!!!!!
LET'S TRY TO GET ALONG, AND *TALK KIND* TO ONE ANOTHER, AND *BE NICE* TO EACH OTHER!
It's just common sense really!!
God sent His only Son!!

The Best Man at my wedding had this in his toast:
"Both Mark and I have pictures of President Bush - his has kiss marks on it, mine has darts stuck in it".
I wonder if James can comprehend that - someone as anti-Bush as that serving as Best Man to a guy who writes on Blogs for Bush?
I, too, have friends which run the gamut of political beliefs...heck, my half-sister is an out and out Marxist. But I don't hate - and they don't hate; but the left of the Democratic Party? All they have is hate.

I don't think we've called you a commie lately.
No one is complaining about the give and take of political argument...but it is you on the left who say that President Bush lied to get us in to Iraq, for instance, when there was no lie to get us in there...the left are lying, hate-filled, anti-Bush fanatics who don't give a damn about anyone or anything other than wallowing in their hatred.
Really, you've got to give it up - you're going to get ulcers.

And what happened on Clintons watch?
Eyes on Target and no shot taken.
Cut and Run in Somalia.
And corporate corruption at Enri=on, WorldCom and more. Don't get confused about the - the prosecutions are on Bush's watch - the crimes were on Clintons. Funny that Clinton pardoned Rich and Soros has been conviced of sleeze overseas.
The Democrats could well have been in power today if they hadn't tried to outlaw gns on the heels of killing more than 80 Americans including women and children in Waco. They drove tanks into their building, and waited until the fires were almost out before calling the fire department. Women and children hiding in the bunkers were burned to death... though themselves unarmed. The gun issue cost you guys no less than three states.
I know the Davidians were nuts - but Janet Reno's explanation of attacking instead of waiting was she had reports the children were being abused? Not a federal crime and the FBI ended up killing all the kids. The underlying revulsion at this attack has never been understood by the Democrats. You completely miss the point that the anniversary of that final slaughter was the date McVeigh (another wack job) chose to bomb Oklahoma City.
So, you want to talk about breeding terrorism? Clinton caused Oklahoma City.

Mark,
Our party condones torture. Our party attempted to cover up for an online child predator. Our party is mired in a winless war in Iraq that will end up costing TRILLIONS of dollars and countless American and Iraqi lives. Our party is responsible for the Katrina response. Our party was completely wrong about weapons of mass destruction. Our party has not killed Osama Bin Laden. Our party has deep ties with Abramoff. Our party is making Halliburton rich via no-bid contracts. Our party has members named Ney, Foley, Cunningham, Libby and Delay who all either broke the law or are in serious legal jeopardy. Our President nominated Harriet Meiers for SCOTUS. Our party made a big deal out of Terri Schaivo. Our VP shot a man in the face while hunting after drinking beer. Our party listens to thousands of American Citizen's phone calls and reads their emails without a search warrant. Our party ignored the pre-9/11 PDB. Our party had a direct hand in outing a covert CIA agent. Our party...and on and on.
Please, defend any one of these issues as being good for Our party. Dems aren't spewing hate, they are only reacting to what we are handing them on a silver platter...

Todd,
Nice string of lefty talking points...
Who condones torture? Torture is illegal under United States law...if you know of anyone who in a official capacity who has tortured, then I do hope you've already reported it to the FBI or other relevant authorities...because anyone who tortures under color of US authority is headed for a jail term. You are making your accusation based upon solid, first-person testimony not from a former detainee, aren't you? You do have EVIDENCE, right? You wouldn't just make slanderous accusation, would you?
We've already won the war in Iraq - you know, all that legitimately elected Iraqi government with hundreds of thousands of troops volunteered to fight for it...that is our win. We're now just helping our allies in Iraq get on their feet.
You do realise that the Katrina response has been the most massive public aid effort in American history? You've also, no doubt, come to learn like the rest of us have that Katrina didn't cause the levee to break...it was already broken, just waiting for the final collapse...Katrina came ashore as a mere catagory one hurricane...that levee had had high tides higher than the water level pushed up by Katrina...of course, that levee had been leaking for a year and Nagin, et al, hadn't done anything about it...
WMDs have been found in Iraq - don't know how many times I have to repeat this. Perhaps, one day, you'll just go over to DoD and see for yourself.
Bin Laden, in my considered opinion, is a grease spot in the Tora Bora...if they can smuggle in tape recorders to make poor quality audio recordings, they could smuggle in a digital camera to give us a crisp, clear picture of bin Laden reading a recent newspaper...he's dead as a doornail.
You might have noticed that Matt and I have a book deal - in it, we've got some interesting stories of Abramoff...you'll love 'em, I'm sure.
Do you know what Halliburton does? Once you find that out, please find out how many other American companies have the skills to do those jobs. This will be wonderfully illuminating information for you.
All of those GOPers in trouble are out of office...meanwhile, Barney Frank had a male prostitute living with him, and he's still in office; Studds has sex with a minor page (not just e mails, but actual sex) and he managed to stay a Democratic Congressman for 14 years after being caught and censured; Jefferson had a $50,000 bribe in his fridge and he's still in office; Ted Kennnedy is guilty of involuntary manslaughter and he's Senator-for-Life from Massachusetts. All groups of people have bad apples and we are all horrible sinners...but GOPers who sin get the boot.
What was wrong with Harriet Miers?
In the Schaivo case, they wouldn't even allow anyone to TRY and give her water orally...what kind of cold-hearted SOB would allow that to happen?
You do have proof that VP Cheney had consumed alchohol before hunting...and I mean proof; a blood test, sworn statements from people who saw him drink...something other than leftwing rumor-mongering, don't you?
Please name for me one American citizen who has had his phone calls monitored without a warrant. Just give me one name.
The PDB only said that bin Laden wanted to attack America - information known since 1996. What on earth did you expect the President to do with 5 year old information pre-9/11?
Actually, no covert agent was outed, as we've long since discovered.
Posted by: Mark Noonan at October 3, 2006 03:06 AM
"We will, of course, be spared a Majority Leader Murtha - the chances of the GOP actually losing its majority to the pack of losers and traitors who make up the Democratic leadership is just about nil, but Murtha's annoucement does show how the treasonous, so-called "anti-war" left is completely taking over the Democratic Party." Mark Noonan.
Then again, Mark, you don't hate traitors. If you were a real patriot, you'd do something about traitors. Do you even understand what the word really means? And what you're obligation is if you know somebody is a traitor.
I'd have a tough time with living with traitors. But I have a suspicion that you don't believe for a second liberals are traitors and you're just another hypocritical conservative shill...no matter the pain you cause to loyal Americans.
Posted by: TurkeyShoot at October 3, 2006 03:09 AM
Turkey,
No, they are traitors - but I don't have the authority to do anything about it. This isn't the Roman Republic where any citizen could bring another up on charges. Our modern system is better, but it does have some flaws.
In the end, we will all have to render to God for what we have done - and I pray that all will be able to approach that judgement knowing they tried to do their best...but Murtha, it seems to me, has much more to atone for than the average man.

I think that the 'war of words' between the Left and Right is an easy way for people to frame their aurguments, especially with charged issues- such as 'global warming' and the 'war on terror' as covered in the US and Australia for the past few years. But what if the Bush administeration isn't right? Would they have the guts to admit to their mistakes?
Posted by: Antonite Savel at October 3, 2006 08:10 AM
Jeremiah,
There is a reason that the founding fathers of our republic placed a separation of church and state. Being that you can't see that means you either shipped that day in school or you're willfully ignorant.
You bring up "common sense" in your first sentence. I would suggest you go back and read the God-father of common sense, Thomas Paine, he even wrote a book with the title.
You might have also have missed the part about the fact at our Constitution allows for freedom of religion, meaning all religions. So which religion would you pick to be "the" religion that you wish to infiltrate our government?
Lastly doing what you advocate would make us a theocracy, you know, the very form of government that we are currently fighting against. So are you advocating that we become our enemy?

Based on the bills that were just passed by the congress, anyone who aids the enemy, citizen or not, can be arrested, held without the right to know what they are charged with, no right to a lawyer, and no appeal to the right to habus courpus. So pres bush, based in the words uttered by the elected dems and by the bills they try to pass, can declare that they are helping the enemy and have them all arrested. Dems Hypocrites on Sex Scandals
While they react with fury over the scandal involving former Rep. Mark Foley, Democrats maintain a discreet silence over the numerous sex scandals that have rocked their own party.
And unlike Republican scandals like Foley's, where shame and resignation were the outcome, the Democrats' shameful behavior were either blithely ignored or jocularly accepted.
For example, former Chicago Democratic Congressman Mel Reynolds received a commutation of his six-and-a-half-year federal sentence for 15 convictions of wire fraud, bank fraud and lies to the Federal Election Commission. He also was convicted of having sex with an underage campaign volunteer. But Jesse Jackson added Reynolds to Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's payroll.
Moreover, Reynolds was among the 176 criminals excused in President Clinton's last-minute pardon spree.
As Deroy Murdock, a columnist for Scripps Howard News Service, wrote back in 2002: "This is a first in American politics: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate, won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate. His new job? ... Youth counselor."
Of course, Murdock's "president" reference was to Clinton, who admitted to inappropriate sexual behavior with White House intern Monica Lewinsky; the "clergyman" was Jackson, who also had an affair with a former Rainbow/PUSH Coalition aide.
After receiving Clinton's pardon, Reynolds became a consultant for the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition on prison reform. He was employed as the community development director of Salem Baptist Church in Chicago.
More notorious was the case of Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., In 1989, male prostitute Stephen L. Gobie admitted that Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., knew that Gobie had operated a prostitution service out of Frank's Capitol Hill apartment. Frank, an openly gay member of Congress, confirmed that he had Gobie as a roommate in his apartment. Frank said he fired Gobie when he learned that clients were visiting his apartment.
Was Frank told by the Democratic leadership to resign his seat as Foley was forced to do?
Not at all. That was 17 years ago, and he is still a member of Congress, a respected member of the Democratic minority and is slated to assume the chairmanship of a key House committee should the Democrats recapture control of the House.
When former Rep. Gerry Studds admitted having sex with a teenage page, nobody in the Democratic leadership demanded he resign, nor did he offer to resign. He had a joint press conference with the boy and bragged about their affair. He was renominated by the Democrats and re-elected six times before retiring.
As Rush Limbaugh noted Monday, "The truth is that the people on the left who are acting all outraged and stunned and angry, they don't see what Clinton or Barney Frank or Gerry Studds did as repugnant. In fact, they view those things as private matters that didn't affect anybody's work, and it's nobody's business what somebody does with their private life, particularly when it comes to sex."
Unless it involves a Republican. Then it's a matter of outrage and hypocrisy.

Gonnuts,
If you want to shove God out of your life that's alright by me, but DON'T try to take Him away from my life or anybody elses!
I want to give the respect that God is due, because that is what this country was founded upon, Why do you think the first proclamation from the very first President George Washingtion included God's name in it? Because he knew for a fact that God was and is the sustainor for such a Wonderful and Marvelous Creation as He has created.
It's no wonder this country is slipping into a non-stoppable depravity, because the un-godly liberals have decided that they don't need God anymore, and that they are superior to the divine and Only Creator of earth. People have gone nuts because of the de-moralized lifestyles of liberals!
All religions are permitted to worship as they please but THIS NATION, WAS FOUNDED UPON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES!! And I will abide by those very principles!
NO-ONE is trying to create a theocracy, Christians have never tried to do any such thing.
Christianity is the Dominant religion in America, It has been and always will be provided that people remain true to God and His Word!
No need to ask any further questions, because I have stated all you need to know!

Just pray is all I know to do!
One sure thing...People need to be serving the Lord!

Meanwhile, James Dobson is one of the most gentle, loving and generous men in our public life...and you hate him merely because someone told you to hate him, and that person told you to hate him merely because Dobson, as a Christian, won't deny his faith.

I recently saw on TV how President Bush is coming against the Democrats in his speeches. I was so glad to see him doing this. I voted for John Kerry for President in 2004. Now I see his true identity and I am totally for President Bush. The Democrats didn't like Bush being voted in as President in 2000, and were angry that he was voted in again in 2004. The Democrats haven't got over their hurt feelings and not having their way in the national election. President Bush went through very difficult and trying days in the White House at the beginning of the Iraq war. He stood alone, yet he was not alone, for God was with him. How else could he have gotten through that? He stood firm in his commitment to stop terror. Where were the Democrats? They were busy speaking negatively and putting down the President in everything he tried to do. I am very against what John Kerry and Hillary Clinton have done and said about him. Hillary wants to be President in 2008? She has to give respect to those in leadership in our country. We don't need her in the White House. If she can't get along with the Republicans now, how will she be able to get along with them when she is President? In the history of our country there has never been a woman holding the office of President of the United States. It is against the teachings of the Bible to have a woman over a man. The man is to be the head of the house and to rule it well. It's time that the Democrats get over their hurt feelings towards the Republicans and President Bush and do what is right for our country and the world. If they would only support President Bush, alot more would get done here and abroad. Psalm 133:1 says, "How pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity". May this happen in our federal government.

Kahn, I smile evey time I read your posts, thank you.
"They did a heavily biased anti-gun story that just infuriated me."
"The recent attacks on George Allen have brought me to a similar anger point."
"I'm sick of the hate and hypocracy of the left."
Don't you just HATE the left.
When You Have No Ideas or Plans to run on, all you have left is your hatred. I only hope more of America wakes up and see they have nothing to offer by hate.
Just a quick note:
Let's remember to keep the Amish family victims in our prayers!

"If I can't help you"
oops!
I made a small mistake there in my post, If you will please Editor, please change that to, "can"
in the tenth paragraph!

Interesting video from Murtha...OUCH
Retired,
The Best Man at my wedding had this in his toast:
"Both Mark and I have pictures of President Bush - his has kiss marks on it, mine has darts stuck in it".
I wonder if James can comprehend that - someone as anti-Bush as that serving as Best Man to a guy who writes on Blogs for Bush?
I, too, have friends which run the gamut of political beliefs...heck, my half-sister is an out and out Marxist. But I don't hate - and they don't hate; but the left of the Democratic Party? All they have is hate.
Jeremiah,
Wasn't that just the most horrible thing? I couldn't even finish watching the news story about it...there is just so much evil in our world today, and only recourse to our Lord gets me through the day.
Steve,
I don't think we've called you a commie lately.
-Todd
Todd,
Nice string of lefty talking points...
Turkey,
No, they are traitors - but I don't have the authority to do anything about it.
Hey, no need to worry. if we lose the house and senate
Jeremiah,
There is a reason that the founding fathers of our republic placed a separation of church and state.
Deleted - Off Topic: Please figure out by now that Foley comments are over at GOP Bloggers, not here. I know the DNC has put out the word to relentlessly hammer on Foley on every conservative blog out there, but we're going to keep control here at Blogs for Bush.
"Funny that Clinton pardoned Rich and Soros has been conviced of sleeze overseas."
Kind of like when Bush senior pardoned Casper Wineberger. Bush and Wineberger are Partners in the Carlyle Group- They are Arms Dealers and making millions off war in Iraq and elsewhere.
Morphie,
Cap was being relentlessly and unfairly pursued by a partisan hack dressed up as an independent counsel...it was people like Walsh who helped convince both Republicans and Democrats that the independent counsel law was bad and had to go.
Mark Rich, however, was a convicted swindler...but since he donated a big amount of cash to Clinton's library, he got himself a pardon...Clinton had himself a garage sale of the last of his honor and decency in his last week in office.
Hey, no need to worry. if we lose the house and senate.. Hell, we here have already decleared them traitors so no problem,
Also wondering why when I posted this before,, it was deleted????
"And unlike Republican scandals like Foley's, where shame and resignation were the outcome"
(Long list of alleged Republican criminals deleted - and won't reappear until you have 100% proof of each and every accusation...take your slanders to Kos and DU).
Washington Post Shocker.....Dems get away with murder and Republicans do not.
Nothing surprising here...different standards applied to conservatives than liberals.
Washington Post Shocker (Dems can do no wrong, screw pages, snort crack and get re-elected)...repubs get one chance and one chance only
Muffie....should we list all of the Dems and their issues...yes, in fact let's do that....does Blogs for Bush have enough bandwidth?
"Muffie....should we list all of the Dems and their issues...yes, in fact let's do that....does Blogs for Bush have enough bandwidth?"
If you'd like. I have a list currently compiling with a 50 year scope. Republican crime is higher than Democrats in the past 50 years. Like it or not its true. not just petty cimes but murder, rape, pedophilia, etc., etc.,
Be sure to include all those Democrat KKK lynchings of blacks Morphie. And the intimidation and brutalization of blacks by - Democrats.
Muphy I'd love to see your source since every site out there has about a 6:1 more crimes by Democrats than Republicans.
This ought to be good....let me guess...dailykos is your source?
LOL
Muffpie...my list goes back to 1780 and starts with Robert Alexander, a delgate to the Continental Congress from Maryland....found guilty of high treason.
It goes on from there...literally hundreds and hundreds of politicians that have been in trouble.
And many, many, many more Democrats than Republicans (and yes, I realize Republicans were an offshoot of the Whigs, etc)
http://politicalgraveyard.com/special/trouble-disgrace.html
Gonnuts,
If you want to shove God out of your life that's alright by me, but DON'T try to take Him away from my life or anybody elses!
Jeremiah
Mark,
Yes, That was a horrible tragedy, I really don't know any way to answer the cause or anything, the only thing that I can think of is that, the person who done that horrible sick thing, has undoubtedly rejected God and was given up to his own depravity, other than that, I really don't have and explanation for why it happened, You know it's really hard to except such a catastophe, along with no way to punish the perpetrator, It just upsets me to no end! Just pray is all I know to do!
One sure thing...People need to be serving the Lord!
Jeremiah
Orange,
You do realise that O'Reilly isn't a Republican, or even a conservative, right? Meanwhile, James Dobson is one of the most gentle, loving and generous men in our public life...and you hate him merely because someone told you to hate him, and that person told you to hate him merely because Dobson, as a Christian, won't deny his faith.
Really rather sad, if you ask me.
Jeremiah,
Evil stalks our world...I'm still horrified by it, though prayer for the families to have the strength to endure the un-endurable is helping me to take it...
The author of this post claims pity on Democrats for constantly having to resort to "insulting, tearing down, and hating....." Hmmm.... Remember the Swift Boat Vets? And, really, what is the author doing? Slamming the Democrats, that's what. When a party has become as corrupt and incompetent as the GOP (that's obviously a bit of a gross generalization but you must admit, you guys have seen quite a few scandals lately, yes?), certain members of that party will gladly stoop to hypocrisy.....
Scariernation,
That list of yours is full of Republicans as well as Democrats.
