If Communism and socialism "do not work" how come the U.S. government borrowed $200 Billion from China?

If Communism is such a failure, why do we have an increasing trade deficit to China?

While China invests in alternative energy and infrastructure, we fight useless wars for oil and let the social and public systems decay.

This is sad. The whole situation in North Korea is just appalling. Kim Jong Il allowed 2 million of his own people to starve to death. It's evil on a grand scale.

Even sadder, Freedom1, is that this sort of thing is nothing new. The Ukrainian famine under Stalin and the Chinese famines under Mao killed many millions. It's sickening that despite the propensity of communist governments for killing their own citizens by the millions, many of us still can't or won't recognize that communism was and is an evil system.

The communist world has been doing precisely what the left has often accused the U.S. of doing - spending so much on the military while neglecting the common man. North Korea is a perfect example of this.

The democrats continue to embrace communism because they want to satisfy SELF, They could care-less about the people, and in my opinion they exemplify North Korea and Germany, Many times over!

Democrats find gratification or pleasure if you will, in the slaughter of un-born life, which was a popular thing with Hitler but mostly with adult people.

Democrats are a dis-gracement of the very things which this country must adhere to in order for this Nation to actually survive!

Here is my definition of Society: It is made up of individuals who practice kindness, decency, a unified government, who respect the laws of God written by Moses, and which, if government is to survive at all, they must have these laws written in their hearts or else it's nothing but a literal catastrophe!

Take Bill Clinton for instance. Did he care for the American people?? NO! He cared only in satisfying his own sinful desires, and on top of all his scandalous administration, he broke the very rules of the ten commandment's, many times over!!

Do I think Clinton is a Christian? NO WAY!!
There is definitely no leadership in someone who cares nothing but for ones self!!

This verse here in the book of Daniel describes somewhat in comparison to the communistic views of democrats.

Daniel 11:36-39(NIV)

"The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place. He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses; a god unknown to his fathers he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts. He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price."

Those verses demonstrate in a way the particular version of communism of the day during biblcal times. Which included different gods worshipped that were made by the hands of man.

This day and age though, the type of gods worshipped have changed; todays gods include money which is a biggy, material goods, television, work, automobiles, another which may surprise you is recreational endeavors, indulged in without pausing and giving God the Thanks and credit for being able to do it.
Please don't take me wrong! All these things are good and beneficial, but to sit back and not give God the credit for these wonderful things is VERY selfish.

Take note: These next god items are in control of the devil.

Other more harmful forms of a god is the industry of pornography, drugs, alcohol, prostitution, these are forms of slavery that if left un-accouted for will literally destroy America before all is said and done.

Now back to my original point - If this country resumes the path at where Clintion left-off it would quite possibly lead to a mass offensive(communistic rule) against Christians and this Nation in general.

... And I would just like to say folks, this is the main reason I say anything on the issue at all, and that is because we all know that this country was founded upon freedom, mercy and Justice towards all men, of all colors and stripes. If democrats succeed in gaining control of America during this upcoming election what will the outcome be for the Christian group in America????

There is a book called "The Lessons of History," by Will and Ariel Durant. It is only 100 pages long, and in it, the authors summarize all of the basic conclusions that could be drawn from looking at the history of civilization. They researched the book by rereading their own amazing, 11-volume work "The Story of Civilization," the most successful historiographical series in history.

In "Lessons," the conclusion about communism, or anything that looked or smelled like it, is that it has been an abysmal failure wherever and whenever it had reared its head throughout the course of human civilization.

The notion that communism, as a viable system of human governance, has any merit whatsoever should be henceforth and forever retired from any debates among rational people.

Communism: Yes, I attended Victory Over Communism rallies in Washington D.C. in the 1970's....With a Bible in one hand, and American flag in the other and a poster worn around my neck I was well indoctrinated from a very young age about the terrors of Communism. First and foremost it is Godless - Christians suffer immensely under it...they die under its rule.... Look at China today - so many Believers are slaves over there making our Christmas decorations! Communism and athiesm go hand in hand.....Our nation was founded upon the Bible and its principles. To some that is nonsense but it's not, it's the truth....No matter how much today's progressives want to revise our American history, it won't work because in the end "truth" always wins. Our laws and our Constitution are biblically based...Which means there is the Rule of Law because our Founders knew we are born sinful and any decent society would have rules to live by.
