ANNOUNCEMENT: Matt Margolis & Mark Noonan get a book deal!

September 06, 2006
A Typical Leftist

This is what our lefties would have liked Gore or Kerry to have done:

MEXICO CITY - Defeated leftist candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador rejected a court decision awarding Mexico's presidency to Felipe Calderon, insisting he will never recognize his rival's legitimacy and vowing to create a parallel government from the streets. Calderon celebrated his long-delayed victory by reaching out to the millions of Mexicans who did not vote for him and calling on his main adversaries, including Lopez Obrador, to help heal the nation's divisions.

To the left, the only legitimate vote is one that empowers a leftist - this is why, in real terms, they are more accepting of a "vote" in Cuba or Venezuela than a real election in Mexico of the United States: in the former case, a leftist won, so it doesn't matter what the details are...in the latter case, a leftist lost, so even if you have to make up stories of problems with the vote, that is quite all right.

Hatred, division, bitterness...that is what the left offers, and all it ever has offered.

One question to all democrats and liberals in the world- "What is wrong with you people?".

Posted by: james allegro at September 6, 2006 07:05 PM

Looks like democracy is breaking down in Mexico.

Botched abortions?

That was wrong... mildly funny, but wrong none the less.

I think they see will to power more important than ANYTHING else.

I wonder what the people of Mexico think of the whole affair?

I wonder what the people of Mexico think of the whole affair?

C'mon, Gozer, you know what they think--just like the rest of the world, they hate us for the way AlGore showed their lefties how to play the victim game.

Actually, I think the people of Mexico are more worried about us putting up a fence than they are about who their El Presidente is...

Matt/Mark, can you reduce the number of threads each day? I can't keep up with all my fans at this rate.

Just kidding; you guys are doing a great job here, even if you do let too many kooks post...

mark, I think you've got the left and right backwards here. Or perhaps both sides simply don't accept it when the other side gets elected.

Take Venezuela as a perfect example, president hugo was elected by the majority, and yet all over the world the right claims he is a dictator (infact fox actually used the word). In december when he wins yet again are you going to scream fraud? Will bush personally call him and say "well done" or will bush still say "this man is a danger to freedom". Is it only a "Free and fair" election if the right wins? (Remember, in Venezuela it was the right who attempted to kill present hugo for beating them fair and square).

Just an honest opinion as a newcomer to the site.

I call you Bushbots because most of you are right on cue with Bush in all his view, some of you take it a little farther, and a few are well over the top. But not too far from where I think Bush would be, if he thought he could get away with it. Your programed to defend all and protest all, without a seconds thought about the issue. I don't recall who said it first but Bushbot fits.

If you don't fit into this category, you are one of those Typical, Terrorist Hugging Anti-American, Anti-War, Soldier Beating Moon Bats, a Defeatist, Heathen, Bush Hating Thug, doing everything they can to undermine America, in your lust for power.

The writers are farther out their than Bush would stretch his neck, to the extreme at times, but well controlled. A for effort, C in quality, D- for reality.

As an honest opinion, the site in general is fairly ridiculous to someone who understands people and politics.

The Blogs on the left are out there too, some might even be as far out as this one.
Realistically people, you have an average IQ of 100 as Americans. The amount of wing-nuts out there and around here keep that number down. As bots, studies show people that susceptible to be well below average and generally in the 60-80 range. A few of you could even be considered fanatics or extremists.

Take a deep breath and sit back, your flooded with emotions, that effects the quality of logic. I'll be pointing out the emotional ones.
