During the Hezbullah war, a Red Cross ambulance was supposedly fired on by Israel, and headlines race around the world, causing hundreds of fraudulent news stories, what with the ambulance having never been hit by IDF missiles. But the world still got to read about it with their morning coffee the next day.
Sometime in the last two weeks, a Red Cross...driver was murdered after having been kidnapped. Nobody knows when, because nobody really noticed, and nobody really cares—because he was a Sudanese, and he was killed in Darfur. The...driver wasn’t an Arab killed by an Israeli. There’s absolutely no news value in another dead Sudanese.
Plant a false story of Israeli atrocity, and the MSM runs with it...have a real story of Islamist atrocity, and the MSM looks away.
Really, does anyone still doubt the bias? Oh, I know - our lefty posters here will claim that they don't see it...but honestly, in everyone's heart, there can't be the slightest doubt that the MSM is anti-American, anti-Isreali, anti-Bush, anti-GOP...

Nobody is commenting on Darfur. Period.
There are no reports in the papers, or on TV. They aren't even blaming Bush for what's going on. All is silence.

The only place I have ever seen a really concise story on Darfur is on ER. The MSM has almost run away from the story, as if they don't want to deal with it. Where is the outrage? Where are is Bono or some other celebrity?

oh please. Hundreds of Palestinian civilians can be killed by IDF through the course of a couple weeks and it goes almost entirely unreported. But if a couple Israeli soldiers die, or a bomb kills 3 or 4 Israeli civilians, it is always in depth front page news in the NYT - a paper you call one of the most liberal in the country (lets face it: Jews in the US are predominantly liberal).
Yes, there is a gross bias in the reporting of issues surrounding Israel - one overwhelmingly in favor of Israel. Palestinian civilian deaths, which are far more numerous, don't get nearly as much coverage as Israeli deaths - not by a long shot.
