I tried here to get Democrats/liberals to renounce violence against Republicans/conservatives because of the long list of violence against Republicans last election cycle. For the record - I believe that 3 or 4 renounced violence of all the liberal posters in this blog...

I pointed out that liberals are alienating the military and falling behind in military knowledge by refusing to serve. I see you attcking the soldiers. You call them war criminals (with little or no proof beyong the accusations of our enemies). You call them "babie-killers" as THESE PEOPLE DID. You fight against recruiters on campus and at schools, refuse to support military traing (as San Francico did a few years ago when the Marines wanted to conduct urban traing - traing that may have saved American lives).

And now, the result of this frothing hatred is the TORTURE OF AMERICAN AN SOLDIER AT GUNPOINT. It is too late for you to deny yourselves. We have been saying that this is who you are. We are NOT just saying it because of this incident.

1. Your party led the nation into the Civil War and then after losing kept the blacks down with a hundred years of brutal and bloody intimidation. Almost 100% of Klan members were Democrats.
2. Your party led us into World War One, World War Two, Korea, and Viet nam. Halfway through Viet nam you lost your will to win and did all you could to make sure we lost. This included many acts of violence - in the name of peace.

Personally Kahn, I don't think they have a friggin clue! Not meaning to toot my own horn, but a good friend of mine and I got jumped by 6 guys under semi-similar circumstance! 1 of them slipped a switchblade into my stomach from behind as I was fighting 3 others in front of me! Needless to say my adrenaline cause me to not take notice of my knife wound(which went 5" into my gut and put me in the hosp. for 5 days), so as my friend & I taught these boyz what it was like to pick a fight with Marines, they hurriedly figured out that they bit off WAY more than they could chew. It was very satisfying to watch them running down the street(for their lives)! Then my friend noticed the wet spot on my shirt, we walked five blocks to the hospital were they hurried me into a 5 hour surgery that yielded 32 staples up the stomach wall! Tore open my colon I guess. Well, like I've said, I don't think they have a clue as to what can they may be opening.

First of all, you haven't really given any points . A spotty history lesson is nice but not what I was talking about or what the thread topic is. Asking questions is not educating someone on points either. I have read the articles referring to the topic. They don't know who did it. Period. Apparently you know who did it and what their political stance is. Break the case for them, give them a tip or something.

I have read the other articles provided by Warrior. I was asked not to counter anything with a list showing how both parties are guilty of such disgusting things.Citing other instances that do not show any connection other then someone got beat up is ridiculous at this point. If you're talking about the tire-slashing in Milwaukee, here's the news report on the sentencing of those responsible:

"A judge admonished a congresswoman's son and three other Democratic campaign workers for interfering with voters' civil rights as he sentenced them to jail Wednesday for puncturing the tires of some Republican vans on Election Day 2004.

Judge Michael B. Brennan exceeded the recommendation of prosecutors in sentencing the four men to jail time ranging from four to six months for misdemeanor property damage.

"Voter suppression has no place in our country," Brennan told the defendants in Milwaukee County Circuit Court. "Your crime took away that right to vote for some citizens."

The Republican Party wanted to use the vans to transport voters to the polls during the presidential election.

The men, including the son of U.S Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Milwaukee, had pleaded no contest in January to misdemeanor property damage in a plea agreement with prosecutors who recommended no jail time.

All four men were granted work-release privileges and were each ordered to pay $1,000 in fines. The defendants also paid $5,320 in total restitution for the damage to the 25 GOP vans.

The defendants were originally charged with felony property damage but accepted plea deals on the lesser charge as jurors deliberated following an eight-day trial in January. The jury found a fifth worker who did not accept the plea deal not guilty.

The four men each faced a maximum nine-month jail term and a fine of $10,000 on the misdemeanor.

Don't you people see what is happening, Bush has turned the left into the majority, while expanding the power of the president, power that is about to be handed over.

Just like the bad apples on either side of the political fence, this incident is the result of bad apples in our military, doing exactly what, this guardsman was accused of, and just like the stereotypes here, people read about our soldiers committing terrible crime in Iraq and assume, thats what all the soldiers are doing. This is the result of the ignorant perception that people are the same within their group. People here are guilty of the same blind mindless attacks on people they only assume they know about. As a former Logger and Mill operator, I'll tell you, tree spikes damage mills, you would have to be blind and stupid to cut into a tree spike while falling a tree. You would also have to cut your stump well above the regulation height to hit any spikes I have seen, and not use a metal detector to damage your mill. I must also comment on your name, I for one don't want to be part of a warrior nation. The attitude reflected in your name is what is wrong with America.

There is an anti-war group and a pro-war group, but each side has a good mix of left and right.

I support just about everything Republicans do, and I'm against this war. I'm opposed to a president that rushes bombs to a country that is bombing civilians. I'm opposed to the fear tactics Bush uses for political gain. President Bush lost my support with his reckless arrogance and paranoia.

Bushbots, blindly support anything Bush related, and so maybe, as the bushbot-party, you can claim that without exception your party is pro-war.

The rest of the world can separate war from other issues, we are not all blind loyalists like the bushbots.
