Yesterday, President Bush announced his intention to nominate five people to be Circuit Judges. One of those was Terrence Boyle, who is actually being renominated to be a United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit. Boyle had been previously blocked in the Senate by Democrats threatening a filibuster.
Others nominated by Bush were
William James Haynes II, of Virginia, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit
William Gerry Myers III, of Idaho, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit
Norman Randy Smith, of Idaho, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit
Michael Brunson Wallace, of Mississippi, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fifth Circuit
It's about time. I hope Senate Republicans are ready to fight.
