The "President" of Iran is Insane

As can be seen in his letter to Chancellor Merkel of Germany:

...Excellency

World War II came to an end with all its material and moral losses and its 60 million casualties. The death of human beings is tragic and sad. In all divine religions and before all awakened conscience and pure nature of mankind and the sense of right and wrong, the life, property and honor of people, regardless of their religious persuasion and ethnic background, must be respected at all times and all places.

Sixty years have passed since the end of the war. But, regrettably the entire world and some nations in particular are still facing its consequences. Even now the conduct of some bullying powers and power-seeking and aggressive groups is the conduct of victors with the vanquished.

The extortion and blackmail continue, and people are not allowed to think about or even question the source of this extortion, otherwise they face imprisonment. When will this situation end? Sixty years, one hundred years or one thousand years, when? I am sorry to remind you that today the perpetual claimants against the great people of Germany are the bullying powers and the Zionists that founded the Al-Qods Occupying Regime with the force of bayonets in the Middle East...

I have no intention of arguing about the Holocaust. But, does it not stand to reason that some victorious countries of World War II intended to create an alibi on the basis of which they could continue keeping the defeated nations of World War II indebted to them...

These pathetic ravings would just be sad, except for the fact that the lunatic in question may soon be in command of nuclear weapons. By whatever means prove necessary, Ahmadinejad must be prevented from obtaining such weapons. Failure to do so would be akin to allowing Hitler to get a nuke - it just can't be allowed, not under any circumstances and regardless of the cost of stopping it.

HAT TIP: Powerline.

I think he should have nuclear weapons. In fact, we should give him some of our. Express intercontinental delivery.

We make a mistake when we sepaprate the leadership in Iran from it's people. They are the government and they are chosen and supported by the people. Actions have consquences... or at least they should.

I hope that we deal with him, and the mullahs in Iran soon. It would be best if we could deal with them before a nuclear option was needed. I just don't see a lot of movement right now, and that does not bode well.

Alphabetejad needs to be kicked in the teeth.

I have a more lengthy commantary on this subject and others at http://www.redstate.com/blogs/donny1123/2006/aug/30/self_defense

I agree. He is insane. I beleive my longer post on Redstate gives my position a little more insight for any wishing to read more.

Wow, Dudley, that was a strong statement. And one that I strongly agree with. I hope others read it and pass it on.

Posted by: kjstrouble [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 30, 2006 05:17 PM

Couldn't agree more but IF we do ANYTHING to stop the idiot, it MUST entail a lot more force than was exhibited in Iraq... This has got to be a definitive strike that leaves nothing for the Iranians to work with... Unless they want to work with poor quality glass that 'may' glow in the dark... Just sayin'...

Posted by: TexasFred at August 30, 2006 05:55 PM

TexasFred
Poor quality glass? Are you suggesting we attack with nuclear weapons? This is your solution to the paranoid delusion that Iran is developing a bomb? And you call Ahmadinejad an idiot, good thinking moron, lets start a nuclear war, that will ensure our safety from nuclear war! Hey! you sound like the president, he's a moron from Texas too. I wonder what quality of glass Texas would make.

Mark
I don't care how many times you repeat it, the fact is, there is absolutely no proof Iran is building a bomb. None! but as I will continue to remind you, propaganda doesn't have to be true, just repeated. You say Ahmadinejad is "insane", a lot of Americans are saying the same about Bush, and he has the Bomb! Bush has also started a war, and is trying to start another, same story, paranoid delusions about WMD the inspectors can't find, calls for regime change. Wait! Ahmadinejad was elected! I guess Bush doesn't know that, or maybe it isn't important to the propaganda he spews.
