The Blogs for Bush Effect

I was doing a roundup of websites for 2008 Presidential candidates and I came across Blogs for Bayh (which seems unused), Blogs for Hillary, Blogs for Condi and Blogs for Rudi. This makes me bet that just about every possible candidate for 2008 either has an active "blogs for" or someone has reserved such a name for use in 2008.

There's nothing like using what works, right? We here at Blogs for Bush have had an enormous amount of fun doing this, and we are delighted that others have decided to follow our lead.

It is in our little communities were the real life of this nation takes place - the "blogs for" communities are just more of what Burke terms our "little platoons" where average people gather to obtain information, discuss events and decide on courses of action. The modern world has added the blogosphere to our families, churches and clubs which have been the real mainstays of liberty in our society.

Hopefully all those others, if they become realities, will not be hijacked by the "Server Error" gremlin. It has really gone waaaaaaay past annoying.

Wonderful, Mark! A friend recently told me about your site, and since I had been out of the political fray for many years due to family responsibilities, which I still have, I found this forum a win/win. I can get back to writing again about politics, etc....and still be able to take care of family matters...it's super!...And yes, grassroots politics is where it is at! I'm so glad your Blogs for Bush has "caught on" and congratulations to you!

Mark...

"...modern world has added the blogosphere to our families, churches and clubs..."

I guess the 'Left' would consider these as "Fly-Over" blogs...

Great job, Mark...

Mark...

"...modern world has added the blogosphere to our families, churches and clubs..."

I guess it won't be long before "Liberals" start refering to them as "Fly-Over" blogs...

Great job, Mark...

Mark and Matt:

It's been a wonderful ride along. Thanks to you guys, "blogs, are where it's at". We out here,
have been able to express our thoughts and write about it, for exchange of information. It has contributed to many "leftist lies", being outed,
and each poster has contributed to "setting the records straight" Look forward to the political
races heating up, and being a part of it all, many thanks to you again..Jo

Who's got 'Blogs for Bitch Lips'?

Posted by: LaMano [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 27, 2006 12:02 AM

Milk it why you can boys, only 2 years left. 2 long long years. (for me and 65% of the U.S.)

Posted by: raker13 [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 27, 2006 12:17 AM

Hey raker - Blogs for Bush is not exclusive to W. There are other members of the Bush family in politics. And those two years will be better than if Gore or Kerry had won.

Retired Spook,

We here at Blogs for Bush are even more annoyed with it than you are, as we do more work on this blog and thus get the BSOD far more often...it is being worked on, but the problem is proving elusive.

Posted by: Mark Noonan [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 27, 2006 01:49 AM

Congrats on the success.

Posted by: teenage liberal [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 27, 2006 03:56 AM

For those eagerly looking forward to the demise of Blogs for Bush in two years, wishful thinking.

Of course, Bush can't be reelected again, but conservatism is making a huge comeback as ordinary people are wising up to the left and their socialist agenda of turning America into a mirror image of the failed Soviet Union.

Pro-Bush blogs may fade or be renamed and thrive, but there are several other blogs gaining in popularity as conservatives realize many are hungry for the old fashioned common sense that made America great.

Mark, congratulations on your endeavors here and I hope your success continues long after President Bush passes the baton to another desiring to see America stand strong.

Boy this site is great! I just got off a liberal blog trying to post on the insanity of letting Iran get nukes. Here is part of what I said:

It sounds like a bad idea to let a country whose President talks about wiping Israel off the map every other day get nukes. This is called common sense, respectively of course. Only liberal adults have to be explained to that sometimes bad or dangerous people have to be stopped. They do not live in the REAL WORLD.

Hey,

I really hope you guys decide to keep this going even when President Bush has finished his last term in office. This place has become like a virtual reunion for lots of different people, everyday, including my brother Jeremiah and myself. I don't come on as often as he does, but I still like to look in and see what's goin on. And when I see something interesting, I post on it. :-D

Ya know, this place is kinda like the show "Cheers" everybody knows everybodies name that comes in, so to speak ... This is just a great site, and I would be in full support of trying to keep it going if you guys would decide to do so.

Mark, Matt, Kevin, Paul, and Russ. With utmost sincerity I ask that you keep it running. :-) This is one of the best Blogs on the net. You've done a fantastic job. Jeremiah also wanted to let you know that he feels the exact same way.

I hope to keep on posting.
