Sweethearts, not bleeding hearts. Is this the new conservative logo? We are beginning to sound worse than the Dems.
What does a silly logo like that say about immigration reform, bringing down the deficit, or reducing the size of government?

Clearwater troll, quit faking your conservatism. The only ones here you'll fool are your fellow trolls. Take your talking points--rather old ones--back to the kook blog you slithered in from.
War

In regards to Mark's comments on Leftwing Ingrates - yes, it is not surprising that Liebermann lost the environmentalists' backing - and yes, their "excuse" was lame. The one good thing I can say about Liebermann is that he was at least taking this stand even if it cost him his party's nomination. In the political world it is very tough to find people who will be totally loyal to you. Total loyalty comes from people who are willing to pay the price of supporting you, no matter what - which includes being embarrassed to support someone who has been your friend and everyone else is laughing at you for doing so, or saying that this person cannot carry the ticket, so support "so and so" instead.

What's even more disgusting is liberal jewish senators such as Schumer and Boxer selling out not only Lieberman but their homeland. This war on terror no matter where it's faught has as much of an implication to Israel as it does to America.
I struggle with the opinions that either liberal america doesn't want this war to succeed because of who's waging it or because they simply hate this country. I'm now realizing it's the latter of the two.

npfl hits on something I have noticed---that radical liberalism seems to trump everything, even self-interest.
The continuing support of Jews for the Democratic Party is an excellent example. It's not just about religion---something like 70% of the Jews in Israel are secular Jews. But the Dems have not stood up for Israel's basic right to survive, they have spoken out against its efforts at self-defense.
And many top Dems have been openly anti-Jewish, from Hillary's comments about a "Jewish bastard" to McKinney's slurs. It took the public to get rid of McKinney---the party would not chastise her for her hateful remarks.
And I will bet that the Dems' dumping of Lieberman will not cost them many Jewish votes, just as Bush's courageous support of Israel will not get the Republicans much Jewish support.
As I have said, for liberals, politics dictate philosophy, while for conservatives it is the other way around----philosophy dictates politics.
