They transmit poison to the susceptable, hit them up for funds, and encourage acts of terrorism. Like the bomb plot of this last week.

There is a private group that seeks out these websites and shuts them down.

Why am I not shocked that there are no Williams, Thomases, Daves, or other western civillization names of the people that were arrested for the latest islamic terrorist attack. Even though it was thwarted does not mean that it was not an attack against the US, the UK, and all of Western civilization.

You know Don, the more I read from Freedom's links and the more I see of it Islam has become more and more non-peaceful in my eyes. Just the normal day to day stuff okay that's fine, good folks. But all the leadership stuff, the fatwas or whatever they're called. It all seems wrong.

The Lord tells us to watch out for people who seek to divide us, speeking in terms as it relates to the teachings of Christianity, but this verse in a sense to me anyways, would also relate to and help us to keep our minds strong against liberalism!!

Just because i'm a liberal(and proud of it, btw), doesn't mean that i'm a danderous person - nor with any other liberal in Ameirca.

It's time you started taking off those holy blinders, Jeremiah.

It appears a cease fire has been agreed to in the Israeli/Lebanon war. In an ideal political situation, I would have hoped Israel would have had the time to completely destroy Hezbollah. I knew this was unlikely that Israel would have time to fully destroy Hezbollah.

It seems the US was able to run diplomatic experience for about 30 days. Bush probably did better here than any other administration other administration would have. Much of the world has calculated that they can buy peace with oil shieks by throwing Israel under a proverbial bus. As such, the pressure on the Administration has likely been tremendous.

It appears Israel did not go in decisively enough or hard enough at the beginning of the war. Had they gone in harder and commited more ground troops from the beginning, they may have been able to achieve a deciisive victory. Israel war plan consisted of many of the same errors that the US made in Iraq. Neither Israel or America sent in enough troops or was aggressive enough. When you don't commit the proper resources to an operation, you send the message to Arab bullies that you are unserious.

I wish I could say I was more optimistic that this cease fire will hold. The UN has never succeeded here. I see no reason to think they will now. In other words, we will right back where we were within short order. This war will only end when Israel is allowed to fight it through to completetion.

We, in the West, expect our wars to be quick and easy. It doesn't work that way. I don't think 30 days was enough time to realisticly expect to be able to dismantle an organization with the strength of Hezbollah. It could be done in a day, if Israel or the US wanted to completely destroy Lebanon, but no reasonable person wants to do this. Given this situation, it would have taken much longer to completely destroy Hezbollah. I hope and pray enough damange was inflicted on Hezbollah to make enough of a difference to have a significant effet.

Again, I wish I could say I was more optimistic but it looks like, at best, we will only have a temporary cesation of the fighting. At some point, Israel will have to fight it through to its completeion. I wish the US would get out of Israel's way here and let them do the job.

Anyone see World Trade Center?

I just saw it today and was pleasantly surprised. Sure it's overly dramatic and designed to get an emotional response with all the standard cliches, but in the end it still works. I enjoyed it and reckogmend it to anyone in the mood for a good drama.
