Porter,
Seems a good portion of the recently retired generals of the USA differ with your assertion.

Third Eye Open,
Whose side are you on in Iraq? America's/Iraq's or the Iraqi Baa'thist terrorists/foreign terrorists? I want an answer, because I honestly think you support the terrorists.
Posted by: Freedom1 at August 3, 2006 04:11 PM
Freedom,
I don't support violence which leads to civilian death...I don't support our pre-emptive war, and I don't support the indescriminate killing on the side of the terrorists...
I support peace

I support peace
^^^^^^^^^^^
How can there ever be peace when there are people out there who want to kill you? Peace is a nice thought, but it is not realistic. There will never be peace as long as peopel want to kill us.
THEY DONT WANT PEACE, do you not ever hear their messages to us and the world?
How do YOU think a govt should handle it when people out there want to kill us and dont want peace? Sit by and let them take over? Play nicey nice, have tea and never get anywhere with talks?
How?
Posted by: AFWIFE at August 3, 2006 04:46 PM
AFWIFE,
What you have, here in America, are a group of lemming parrots who, through their seething hatred of anything Bush, blame America for all the world's problems, past and present, and celebrate setbacks in war on terror, as long as such setbacks happen on Bush's watch. Nothing pleased them more today than when General's Abizade and Pace confirmed that Iraq was dangerously close to civil war. You see, Bush failures are very important to these people, regardless of how many people have to die in the process.
Basically, what I'm trying to say, AFWIFE, is don't waste your anger on these puke trolls; their collective IQ's are lower than my golf scores, and I consistently shoot between 85-95...
Posted by: keefer at August 3, 2006 05:28 PM
Actually keefer, I liked it when Gen. Abizaid, said the number Sunni insurgents was between 10,000 and 20,000 fighters.
In 2003 he said the insurgency was no more the 5,000. The great decider's war on terror has created 15,000 (net) new terrorists in the last three years.
Feel safer now?

Third Eye Open,

Just for keefer with a hat tip to Carl at Simply Left Behind:
Object Lesson In Humour
Mrs. Caty was lecturing her third grade class about the ways people are different.
"For example, I'm a Republican, because I believe that Republicans are best suited to protect this country. Who else here is a Republican?"
Immediately, almost all the hands in the class shot up, except for little Jimmy.
"And who here is a Democrat?"
Little Jimmy raised his hand.
"Jimmy, can you explain to us why you're a Democrat?"
"Because my mom is and my dad is."
"For heaven's sake, Jimmy, that's not a good reason! What if your mother and father were morons?"
"Then I'd be a Republican."

Rumsfeld is deranged. If two or more groups of people of the same country are killing each other, that's a civil war any place on earth. Maybe he's from outer space where things are different. Peace

C.O. From someone in YOUR military. I didn't know you lived in vancouver C.O.?:
"As a 23-year-old soldier in the Canadian Forces it takes a lot to shock me but what still shocks me time and time again is the utter ignorance of Canadians in this country!! Here's a good example...
Having just finished a tour of duty in Afghanistan, I am back in Canada goiing to college and working a crappy retail job for a store in downtown Vancouver which I will not mention by name. Yesterday was my first day back to work after 6 months and I was still re-learning the ropes of the job when a customer approached me to buy some merchandise. As usual, I checked them through only to be rudely informed by this customer that the item was on sale....which it was. I simply apologized, adding that I've been on military duty overseas since January and wasn't aware of some of the pricing changes towhich this dipship customer replied "I don't care where the hell you've been, you outta know the prices if you work here."
Okay, so yes I was beyond mad at hearing such an ignorant remark from some fuckhead who would probably be last (behind the french) to volunteer to serve our country. Unfortunately, however, this off the cuff remark just goes to re-enforce the belief that most soldiers have--that the majority of Canadians are a bunch of spoiled, ungrateful assholes who don't deserve to live in this country! So to that dipshit customer I met yesterday, I invite you to approach any military man in the real world and voice your opinions on the Canadian military. Then, as your pulling your fist out of your own ass, maybe you'll reconsider its people like me that protect your right to be a dipshit!"

Kahn,
Sounds much like the ungrateful blatherings around this site. As I had mentioned before, my neighbor is in the air force and they see the drive by media indict and accuse them of every imaginable atrocity. These stupid journalists can't seem to fathom the idea that they can spout this crap here because of the freedoms that have been fought for by OUR military. Try "reporting" in an Arab country and they may very well disappear leaving their families with no answers at all.

Here's a talking point Matt,
Where's the posting about the Delay ruling...the acknowleged civil war in Iraq...the new fight from the vanquished Taliban...the 2.9 trillion/yr deficit...and on and on...cat got your tongue? You need to face facts fellas, this has got to STOP.

Kahn,
I especially like this little bit of the article:
"Unfortunately, however, this off the cuff remark just goes to re-enforce the belief that most soldiers have--that the majority of Canadians are a bunch of spoiled, ungrateful assholes who don't deserve to live in this country! So to that dipshit customer I met yesterday, I invite you to approach any military man in the real world and voice your opinions on the Canadian military. Then, as your pulling your fist out of your own ass, maybe you'll reconsider its people like me that protect your right to be a dipshit!"
--So because you think you're a tough guy, then everyone elses' opinions don't matter, and in fact are liable to get you beat-up for expressing them? HA!
My father was in the military, I grew up around these guys, and even now he works with the military. I have great respect for the job these guys do, but the one thing that every respectable career military proffessional knows is that their job is CHOSEN, and while brotherhood is a given, you are only as strong as the person backing you up, that means every bank-teller, teacher, and garbage man has just as an important a role to play in this fabric we call America. So when I hear ingratiating twits like this guy spout-off, I laugh, because I know this was totally the little snot who left after one tour because he was most definately the platoon bitch, because most likely he was the whiniest guy on the fire-walk, always mad because everything that happens, was someone elses' personal slight against them.
Posted by: Third Eye Open at August 3, 2006 09:01 PM
Hey 3more years... if you wanna talk about all that stuff, I'll talk about all that stuff... but first, acknowledge that if you used those accounting rules there were was NEVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER a Clinton budget surplus... if you can admit that, then we can talk honestly.
However... I've watched a lot of people post, mostly on the left, about us needing to talk to our "enemies" such as Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Iran, N. Korea, et al and then there would be a greater chance of peace.
I'm serious when I ask this question, why do you see talking now as a viable solution when 1. we gave money to Al Qaeda to get rid of the Soviets from Afghanistan for "their freedom" and then they turn on us... we give North Korea nuclear power technology and they make nukes... and so far, it seems that talking hasn't been as productive as it seems you believe it would be.
Now, why is 2006 different? Is it because it's what you think Bush ISN'T doing or is it because you see our enemies hate Bush like you do so they'd be willing to stop all this "silly madness" if we talked to them.
I'm 100% serious, if you have reason and evidence that it's different, I'm totally willing to listen.
Posted by: wawilliyo at August 3, 2006 09:15 PM
I guess Kerry figures that Democrat talking points on Iraq are more important than the facts.
Well, what do you know --- the Democratic "talking points" (civil war in Iraq) now match up with the acutal facts (civil war in Iraq) of the real world. I guess we knew what we were talking about after all, no? Here's your money quote:
"I believe that the sectarian violence is probably as bad as I've seen it, in Baghdad in particular, and that if not stopped it is possible that Iraq could move toward civil war." Gen. Abizaid
Now when will you all admit that your Idol, Cowboy George, is 100% percent responsible for this disaster in Iraq? When he officially goes down in the record books as "Worst President of the United States of All Time," this monumental failure in Iraq will be the defining moment.

Charmin time---the third eye is emitting.......
The CO quoted a favorite neorad "joke". I heard a woman call into Jay Marvin on Airhead America a few weeks ago with one very similar. She was just so simperingly TICKLED with the "joke," and tried to tell it, giggling throughout.
A young boy had a box of puppies for sale near the White House, and one day the President was jogging past and stopped to ask what kind of puppies they were. "They are Republican puppies, sir" replied the boy.
A week later Bush and Cheney passed tbe boy and the President called Cheney over to show him what a cute kid the boy was. "What kind of puppies are these?" asked Bush and the boy replied "They are Democratic puppies, sir".
"But last week you said they were Republican puppies!" said the President.
"Yes," said the boy---and here the caller was snorting through her nose like Lily Tomlin, she was so tickled---"...but that was before they opened their eyes!"
The thing is, I thought I knew the punch line of the joke, and I still like mine better...
"Yes," said the boy, "...but that was before we cut off their balls."

Where the problem lies in all of this is where we have people like Hillary, Kerry, Kennedy, and other idiotologists who think the world would be Oh so much better? with their tongues flittering about in a serpent like fashion talking about our troops like dogs trying to find every imaginable offense they can find to blame it on President Bush, and how so good the terrorists are, and if we would just leave them alone? To kill more infidels and poor women and children who have no defense!!
The democratic party is a heeving mass of poison to OUR government!! If only America could look through the paper thin veil of disguise that the democratic party has blinded so many to their evil demented ways!!
We the conservatives have put the TRUTH on the table before the democratic party!, and have gave them the option to take it or leave it! and they have rejected it EVERY SINGLE TIME!! and today was a prime example, Mr. Donald Rumsfeld stated the facts, and sick-face hillary could not stand her defeat, I'm telling you people!, The democratic party is the only reason that over half of America is in the shape it is in! They were given an oppurtunity to grasp the truth, and took it and threw it down, and many of America have taken this same attitude of disgrace because of sic-face kerry and clinton, they are the very reason America has to so often and most of the time stay on red-alert, the democratic party are terrorist communers, and they see no good, expect no good, they are alway on the NEGATIVE!! BUT.............
Thanks be to God we have people like George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, and John Bolton, men of true dignity and honor to our country, they have the God given knowledge to see through these wicked serpents like hillary Clinton, and john kerry, They are the kind of men that are the very reason we call this great land AMERICA!, and why we have the freedom to step out and not be afraid to raise old glory to where her message tells it all!, so her stripes and stars may be seen from afar and so people can attest once more to the one fact that we are indeed a FREE and prosperous country, with the ambition and courage enough to defend herself!!
This is what the president had to say after the 9/11 attacks:
"I will not forget this wound to our country or those who inflicted it. I will not yield; I will not rest; I will not relent in waging this struggle for freedom and security for the American people"
...And that my friends! is the kind of president I want!!! and I hope America as a whole wants!!!; this coming election"

I am amazed by all these interesting bits of ranting. I live in a country called the United States of America. I too have the freedom to talk trash about my country but I don't. I want whatever is necessary to keep me and my family safe. I want our military to be sucessful in whatever they do. Whether you support the action our soldiers are fighting in our name. As you sit comfortably at home you wonder...Shucks how long is this war in Iraq gonna drag on followed by trash talk. Whether they are factual or not your talking trash about the country generations have died for so we could be free.

Posted by: keefer at August 3, 2006 10:05 PM
Wawillyo,
I hope you don't mind me jumping into your conversation.
"I've watched a lot of people post, mostly on the left, about us needing to talk to our "enemies" such as Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Iran, N. Korea, et al and then there would be a greater chance of peace."
--I think it was B. Poster who recently brought up an old military addage, that says if you are to defeat your enemy, you must know them...how do you expect to know your enemy, if you don't talk to them?
First-off, let me make a point about the difference of dealing with AQ versus dealing with NK. NK is a state, they have standard lines of communication with regards to management and diplomatic levers, we didn't pull the right levers during Clinton's administration, and we went to a place where we shouldn't have...real frickin' stupid mistake. We made AQ, we cobbled together OBL from our contacts in Saudi Arabia during the 70's, it is no coincidence that the elder Bin Laden made his money from American foreign investment, and later his son was used as a conduit for the CIA to funnel weapons and training to the Mujahadeen. So there was no talking, since they were just a proxy-force for us, we didn't follow-up on Afghanistan, frankly because we had just watched the Russian's get bogged down in a guerilla war, and we didn't want to follow them up to be a benevolent force and put things right in that country, that is what lead to the roots of the Taliban regime, after Reagan, we basically just let them fall off the map, and until 9/11 we didn't care about what they were doing until we got a serious wake-up call about it.
Now, to my original point. Talk to ones enemies can produce fruits, look at Northern Ireland, UK finally got tired of treating them like the grandma in the attic when guests came over, so they sat down, hashed-out the grievences, and now, as you can see, it worked out well...how about Libya, there is an example of wearing your opponent down with sanctions and time, and letting them see that there are other options that produce much more desirable effects for the people and the dictator if they change their stances...but it takes actually finding the common ground, which requires talking, and not token discussions, but serious talks aimed at goals, finding the wants, and haggling for concessions.
This is where I see ourselves in Iran. Let's be serious with eachother here, I think we both realize that the current situation in the ME, and our military responsibilities, are going not going to allow for us to mount a unilateral invasion.
What does Iran want? Well it's all about influence. For thousands of years, the Persian Empire ruled the ME, it was the head of the religion and culture, and the nexus of commerce. After nearly 30 years of pseudo-isolation, they want that prowess back. They want to be the big-dog, not so that they can keep people under an iron-thumb, but to regain influence within the sattelite cultures due to tribal Shi'ite bonds. The US doesn't like that idea, they want a hegemonic power in Israel, who can keep everyone in check, and over time maybe breed democracy by osmosis. The rub is that the arabs don't trust or respect Israel on a cultural basis, it has been 2000 years since the jews were a ME people, and in that time a lot has changed. So to keep this short, we have to figure out a way to make Iran and Syria take the historical responsibilities, while giving them the PR spin they need to feel important, and I would bet my last dollar, when they are forced into the role of big-dog, it will have quite the chilling effect on terrorism, since there is no way that Iran is going to let terrorists run loose in their neighborhood. Inside of a generation I think we could see a continuation of the policies we saw under the previous president of Iran, and an eventual yearning to reenter the world trade which is what Iran needs to become the super-power they see themselves as.
This is my interpretations of the events in the ME, please, let me hear what you think, and feel free to pick apart, at will.
Posted by: Third Eye Open at August 3, 2006 10:13 PM
wawilliyo,
There is only one thing left to do at this point...revolution. This may seem radical, but at the very least we could attempt to split the government up between the parties to limit power and keep them fighting amongst themselves. This way, the can't do as much harm.
BTW, unfortunately, I don't believe any of this matters. The course before us has been set and we must watch and hope while it plays out. This is why I generally stopped posting on this and similar blogs, we're toast and there ain't nothin' we can do to change it. Welcome to the new world my friend. See ya on the other side.

If George W. Bush had actually HAD information which would have indicated a specific type of attack on 9/11 and thwarted such an attack by arresting the hijackers at the gates in Boston, maf and the oozing eye and the other fellow travellers would have been OUTRAGED and INCENSED at the gross violations of their CIVIL RIGHTS !!!!
We would still be hearing about it----the UNFAIR intrusion into their private lives, the debate on the constituionality of the methods of discovering the plot, etc.
If George W. Bush had not invaded Iraq and we had been hit by another Al-Queda attack last year, one involving WMD, the Left would be calling for his impeachment and probably for his hanging. After all, we all KNEW Sadaam had WMD,there was ample proof of his conniving with and support of Al-Queda if we had only dug deep enough, and even the BRITS believed he had tried to buy uranium in Africa!
And how COULD we ignore the torture and killing of so many INNOCENT CIVILIANS at his hands?????
The neorads hate Bush. He has never been able to do one thing they could tolerate, and he never will. He could personally decree an action that would save the lives of ALL who live "within two hours of Florence, Colorado" and Ash would still excoriate him. You people are impossible. Irrational and impossible.
No president in history has ever had to face the kinds of problems Bush has had to deal with. No human in history could reasonably have been expected to deal with the vast complexity of problems, many of an entirely new nature, as Bush has been expected to handle, without one misstep. Yet you have hated him from the beginning, before he was even elected, and you have steadfastly refused to grant him any slack at all since then.
And, BTW, give me a cowboy any day if the option is an effete Ivy-Leaguer poseur fake, or an effete pseudo-Southern poseur fake. I like cowboys. Cowboys won the West, and cowboys don't simper around groveling for permission and approval from others. Cowboys see what has to be done and then they do it---without asking polls what will make them most POPULAR. Cowboys don't marry for money or wear fake tans or fake-hump their wives in public. Cowboys don't invent "atrocities" and defame an entire American military generation, under oath, just to get some media attention---much less sneak off to help and comfort the enemy in their desire to overcome our country.
And I think "men" who keep whining and whingeing about 'cowboys' are, shall I say, extremely sensitive about their own lack of manliness. Sometimes I think what really chaps your ash is that Bush is not only very manly, but that we recognize that and respond to it.
We were supposed to think KERRY would keep us safe? Kerry, he who tucked his tail between his legs, effectively covering up HIS third eye, and ran for cover when a boat hit a mine? Kerry, who carried a movie camera with him to Viet Nam so he could re-eneact fake "actions" to have a record, no matter how phony, of his so-called heroism?
There is a reason we chose Bush. Not one YOU might understand, maf, but a reason. You were so much more comfortable, and could relate so much more to, Prez Pudge and his elastic-waist jammies, and the very vision of a Texan fighter pilot/cowboy freaks you out. Too bad no one makes movies about whiny geeks, someone you could relate to. Well, there IS Woody Allen.

The eye opines:
"What does Iran want? Well it's all about influence."
Well, no, eye, it's actually all about setting up the return of the 12th Imam. Which requires worldwide death and destruction, agony and chaos. Which translates into nuclear weaponry.
The leader of this country you try so hard to portray as a reasonable guy, leader of a reasonable country, which just wants some respect, has actually promised the world a map free of Israel and the United States, and has portrayed himself as the new prophet, the one sent to make the old prophecy come true. He sees himself as the one who will be in all the future books of Islam as the hero of Islam, the one who destroyed the world so Islam could rule.
Go ahead and try to project reasonable and understandable goals on Iran, eye. It's a little like the gazelle making excuses for the lion as he tears her throat out.
The Iranian theocracy wants us dead. You and me, all of us. And they believe that once they have created enough devestation in the world, this will happen, and Allah will return to make Islam triumphant.
You say "...there is no way that Iran is going to let terrorists run loose in their neighborhood.." Oh yeah? If their real goal is world destruction, blood and fire, just why do you think they will object to a few terrorists? They ARE terrorists!
You pretend that their goal is to establish a nice, calm, national government. And yeah, in a case like that, it might be possible to reason with them. But if they have no interest at all in a nice, calm, national government, but feel that worldwide death and destruction will complete a divine prophecy, then diplomacy will just give them more time to put together what they need to achieve their true goals. Want to take the risk?
So have a nice chat about this, share a cup of tea, and let us know how it turns out......

I think you hit it on the head exactly. If you could actually get ONE of them to admit to something they think Bush did well (that isn't followed by a BUT, or a backhanded insult poorly disguised as praise) then perhaps their protestations to having a higher reason would be somewhat more genuine.
One of them actually said to the effect, "every death that happens just proves how wrong Bush is."

Once again, Almiranta is loooong on hyperbole, and short on substance --- surprise, surprise.
If George W. Bush had actually HAD information which would have indicated a specific type of attack on 9/11...
Does "Bin Laden determined to attack inside U.S." mean anything to you? Perhaps Cowboy George was still on his extended vacation when this memo passed across his desk. He was asleep at the wheel then --- 9/11 happened, and now he is trying (waaaay to hard) to atone for his mistep. And we and the rest of the world are paying dearly for it.
If George W. Bush had not invaded Iraq and we had been hit by another Al-Queda attack last year, one involving WMD
Hmmm let's see here --- 9/11 was not carried out by anybody from Iraq. It was carried out by al-Queda. It seems you still have failed to grasp this basic fact. As for the WMDs .... hahaha ... don't tell me you are still hanging on tight to that lie? You just eat them up, don't ya?
The neorads hate Bush. He has never been able to do one thing they could tolerate
You are correct on the second point, but not the first. Now ... Bush has surrounded himself with some of the greatest liars, stealers, cheaters, killers, and religious fanatics this country has to offer ... he blatantly lied us into Iraq ... he tramples all over the Constitution ... believes god speaks through him ... he cannot form a complete, coherent sentence when he speaks in publilc ... etc, etc ... but we do not hate him. We just cannot stand him and are completely embarrased and ashamed that a man of his ignorance, incompetence, and arrogance could occupy the hightest office of this great country.
No president in history has ever had to face the kinds of problems Bush has had to deal with
This is laughable. And delusional. You know you are a true Bushbot when you utter a statement like that.
Oh and it is so rich how you fall into the whole Cowboy trap. Yes, the same Cowboy who skirted Vietnam (quick question: who was in Vietnam, Kerry or Bush?), who would never have gotten into the Ivy League schools you so despise had it not been for his father, who rides shotgun in a "fighter jet" over a Mission Accomplish sign when that mission is 3 and a half years running, with no end in sight, and a civi war on the brink ... which, by the way, you failed to even address.

Kinda like this, hey Matt:
Conservative Comebacks To Liberal Lies
[deleted, banned until further notice... --moderator]
Since when have Condi, Rummy, and Bush known the least about the situation in Iraq?
TEO:
Based on your chronic insipid comments on this topic, I imagine they know a great deal more than you would every hope to know.
Porter,
Seems a good portion of the recently retired generals of the USA differ with your assertion.
Third Eye Open,
Whose side are you on in Iraq? America's/Iraq's or the Iraqi Baa'thist terrorists/foreign terrorists? I want an answer, because I honestly think you support the terrorists.
Freedom,
I don't support violence which leads to civilian death...I don't support our pre-emptive war, and I don't support the indescriminate killing on the side of the terrorists...
How?
AFWIFE,
What you have, here in America, are a group of lemming parrots who, through their seething hatred of anything Bush, blame America for all the world's problems, past and present, and celebrate setbacks in war on terror, as long as such setbacks happen on Bush's watch.
Third Eye Open,
You didn't answer my question. Here it is again:
Whose side are you on in Iraq? America's/Iraq's or the Iraqi Baa'thist terrorists/foreign terrorists?
Freedom1:
Third Eye is clearly on the side of freedom and justice and by extension on the side that supports our troops. A true patriot.
Therefore, TEO is opposed to the reckless, destructive actions of Mr. Bush and the irresponsible Republican Congress that rubber stamps his appalling behavior.
Wade
Freedom, TEO is on the side of whoever hates Bush. It is one of those, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" therefore, if you hate Bush, you are my friend.
Peace without strength is really subjagation to a stronger power.
I only watched parts of Rumsfield speaking...but man, Hilary is a b!tch and I love how Rumsfield put her in her place over incorrect information! LOL
My question is if Al Gore had won the 2000 & 2004 Elections...that you conservatives would be happy with the way things have been going in Iraq and would continute to support Al Gore and his adminstration every step of the way?
Rumsfeld is deranged. If two or more groups of people of the same country are killing each other, that's a civil war any place on earth. Maybe he's from outer space where things are different. Peace
I guess Kerry figures that Democrat talking points on Iraq are more important than the facts.
Yes, because we all know that Bush & co. is the go-to source for the unvarnished truth about what's going on in Iraq.
*Sighs*
So instead of going to a briefing of current information Kerry just wants to talk and rely on what retired generals say? Is that what I'm seeing here?
I only watched parts of Rumsfield speaking...but man, Hilary is a b!tch and I love how Rumsfield put her in her place over incorrect information! LOL
If you only watched when Rumsfeld was speaking, how did yu know Hilary was a b)tch? The way I saw it she tore him a new one.
Then, as your pulling your fist out of your own ass, maybe you'll reconsider its people like me that protect your right to be a dipshit!"
http://www.discovervancouver.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=98630
Hilary is a bitch-everyone knows it-even her hubby!
As usual one dumb ass question/statement after another.Predictable.
Kahn,
Sounds much like the ungrateful blatherings around this site.
Jeremiah
Well said maf53.
When your own leaders say there were no WMD's and when a leading general says Iraq is on the verge of civil war....it's true. Stop and open your eyes to the real world.
wawilliyo,
Never said Clinton and all others didn't do it. What you guys fail to realize is that Bush ain't the savior, he's just more of the same. This country's tanking and many are just arguing who's at fault. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!
ThreeMoreYears:
It seems you're fed up, but besides using all caps, what are you suggesting we do about it?
I mean, I'm all for talking if we're willing to come up with a plan. If you and I could generate some ideas, I'd be more than happy to give you credit where it's due.
Then I'd be a Republican."
When I heard this joke, two years ago, it was aimed at Democrats.
Get some new material, troll...
Wawillyo,
I hope you don't mind me jumping into your conversation.
This is my interpretations of the events in the ME, please, let me hear what you think, and feel free to pick apart, at will.
wawilliyo,
There is only one thing left to do at this point...revolution.
Almiranta you are wise. Finally a voice of reason.
[banned until further notice... hey, we warned you. -- moderator]
Almiranta:
I think you hit it on the head exactly. If you could actually get ONE of them to admit to something they think Bush did well (that isn't followed by a BUT, or a backhanded insult poorly disguised as praise) then perhaps their protestations to having a higher reason would be somewhat more genuine.
One of them actually said to the effect, "every death that happens just proves how wrong Bush is."
Thank you Almiranta, you said what needs to be said, and you said it well.
If you only watched when Rumsfeld was speaking, how did yu know Hilary was a b)tch? The way I saw it she tore him a new one.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
First off, she is a bitch just in general. Cant stand that woman.
Second, the part I saw, she didnt rip him a new one at all.
Regardless, she is a very distasteful person. I see her and my stomach turns.
TEO:
Thanks for proving again and again what your real motives are for EVERY position you take.
You are not a genuine person with positions taken from principle...
You sound like you're jealous more than anything else... a sad tragic piece of work...
Go to the Daily Kos... they'll make you feel special by agreeing with your drivel.
Almiranta,
You did a GREAT JOB!!:)
You have the God given talent of knowledge!
I appreciate you posts!!
You would indeed make a wonderful president!!
May God bless you!:)
Jeremiah
Yes, the same Cowboy who skirted Vietnam (quick question: who was in Vietnam, Kerry or Bush?), who would never have gotten into the Ivy League schools you so despise had it not been for his father, who rides shotgun in a "fighter jet" over a Mission Accomplish sign when that mission is 3 and a half years running, with no end in sight, and a civi war on the brink ... which, by the way, you failed to even address.
maf.........
it really is true..liberalism is a mental disease...I have never seen so much claptrap in one post..well, ok, yes, I have..
you are still mouthing at old canard..disproved, btw..that he skirted VNam..how very, very stupid..
