Conservative Comebacks To Liberal Lies

Whether you're a blogger or a political junkie, you've had to put up with plenty of lies and myths when you talk to a liberal. "Bush is stupid," "Abortion is safe," "Republicans are racist," "Democrats are the party of the little guy," "Gun control works," etc. etc. You've probably heard them all.

My friend and fellow blogger Gregg Jackson, co-host of Pundit Review Radio on Boston's Talk Station 680 AM has written a book that catalogs these liberals lies and presents all the facts to contradict their claims. Conservative Comebacks to Liberal Lies reads like a book, but is an encyclopedic resource of information that enables the reader to quickly and efficiently rebut any liberal lie and respond with facts. Gregg Jackson has done all the research and organized the information into nearly 400 pages packed with rebuttals, facts, and tables on everything from abortion, to economics to zealot terrorism.

Conservative Comebacks is a valuable resource for anyone who is tired of putting up with the the lies and myths of the left. Check it out and order a copy.

I hope it is alphabetically arranged....let's see...let's see...'W'...ah, there it is...WMD...yup, says here we found em...who cares what your "reality" and "congressional reports" say, must be more liberal LIES...says so, right here!

Actually, I think the book's worthy of consideration. Whether it will be another example of the right following Robert McNamara's famous advice, ("Never answer the question you were asked. Answer the question you wish you'd been asked.") or an erudite rebuttal of my seditious liberal views, nobody knows. However, upon reading the excerpts from the book I suspect that the former is the case. The conservative rebuttals I have no problem with - but the book reeks of GOP deceit. When addressing corporate donations made to Republican campaigns, the author completely evades the question by ranting about how non-profit organizations and private donors (527s) have contributed more money to the Democratic campaigns than Republican campaigns. Corporate donations would be a far more illuminating statistic, methinks.

I think I may buy the book for the same reason I frequent this site - I don't really understand the ideology and motivations right as well as I should. Also, liberal yuppies really piss me off. They're hippies without the hair and music.

Grandmaster,

Did ya hear about the yuppie who got into the car accident the other day?

It was a total 'Saab' story.

In June and July of 2004, Democrats have had anywhere from a 6- to a 15-point advantage, depending on the poll.
Today's RCP Spread has the Dems with an 11.7% Generic Advantage. http://realclearpolitics.com/polls/archive/?poll_id=14#data

Amazing how similar the dialogue is to 2004.

Personally, I don't think the American people will let the lefty pansies in this country leave our troops high and dry and force them to cut and run.

Warrior,

Finally growing a set of balls to tell Bush and his cronies we aren't going to give him anymore blood for this trip to the big sandbox, is not 'cut and run', it's about frickin' time.

P.S. Did you happen to catch the new numbers regarding the American Publics ever growing majority view that the troops should get their collective butts back home, ASAP?

I hardly need it. Leftist arguments rarely take more than a quick Google search to show they're lying. In fact, the DEFAULT argument against leftists might as well be that they're lying.

Warrior: That clip was totally unbelievable. What sick little minds the left have (major emphasis on "little").

Posted by: kimberly4bush [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 3, 2006 03:41 PM

/Agreed Orion

It's a nice book, but I'm more prepared and willing to do the research myself and reply to the attacks. Most of the time I'll just use my common sense replies until I've done the research.

Then again, I don't cause too much of a ruckus here so I guess that's how well recieved my replies are. ;)

Warrior,
I was sickened by the slander that occured on that broadcast. I guess there is no end to the lengths they'll go to push liberal agendas. The paranoia of these people is frightening, they are walking the streets unsupervised, probably looking over their shoulders the whole time. I hope they are suffering from the madness they try to spread.
