At the end of May I travelled with my family to the Chattanooga Chickamauga National Military Park. When we got onto one road, we saw a great big green sign proclaiming that it was the Cynthia McKinney highway (or lane or bike path - I can't remember which). I was infuriated (!!) that a freak like that would get ANY recognition ANYWHERE! She is an disgusting piece of feces.

First off, I'm shocked that you describe a "Pinko" as personally honorable. I think you're becoming an old softy. Be careful, you may be offending some of your more " commited" bloggers here.
Being almost the same age as yourself, I to am very familiar with the cold war mentality. I spent, like you,the first half of my life in a world of duality. You remember those maps we saw in school, the ones that had half the world in red and the other in a tapestry of greens, blues and yellows?
