You're forgetting the other side of the coin, these terrorists didn't appear in a vacuum, it took work from Israel, infact 40 years of occupying territory that didn't belong to them, of usurping water rights, and arbitrarily using economic warfare long before the first entifadah occured. This is a tough issue, but to just push all blame on anyone BUT Israel is a non-starting argument, there is a reason why the ENTIRE UN, with the exception of the US ratifies condemnation of the apartheid rule of Israel with regards to Palestinians; It's hard for me to believe that places like Australia and Japan agree with Syria and Iran in regards to Israel's actions, and yet somehow everyone but the US and Israel are wrong, kinda dillusional if you ask me.

You have this odd 19th century mentality of warfare. Nations don't get spoils of war anymore. When the cessation of violence occurs, and the peace treaties are signed, then any occupied territories are returned to their nation.

The 40 year occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem is given, even the US holds that the territories don't belong to Israel, but they insist on holding them. Perhaps you should do some research on the subject before you rattle-off nonsense.

As far as my views on things, they don't amount to a hill of beans, if your hypothetical situation did occur, we would have every right to petition the UN to have Canada remove its forces, or go through the process of bring resolutions to that effect, eventually culminating in the forceful removal of Canadian occupation...funny thing about the situation in the West Bank is that the Palestinian entity cannot take those measures because we hold a veto on the Security Council, and would never let a vote happen regarding the forceful removal of Israeli soldiers from the occupied territories. I guess it's good to be the King, huh?

Regardless of how "occupied territory" is handled by the world community, those lands were taken as a result of hostility against Israel. If said hostility did not take place, then those lands would not have been taken and occupied. Reality, it's a terrible thing for liberal talking points. Hostility towards Israel dates back before those lands were taken.....hence the wars in the late '60s and early '70s.

Your THEORY of how the world actually works is naive and reality has once again bit you in the ass. How much influence does the UN have? How effective is it? Reality, it's a bitch ain't it?

As far as spoils of war, how long did the Soviets keep and occupy East Germany and SEVERAL other eastern bloc countries after WWII? And what century was WWII fought in?
