We can only hope:
BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Israeli troops punched into south Lebanon on Wednesday as warplanes flattened buildings including one thought to hold Hezbollah's top leaders.
Hezbollah denied that any of its "leaders or members" died in the strike in the Bourj al-Barajneh district of south Beirut. {The terrorists lied about what was hit} statement faxed to The Associated Press.
The strike was the most dramatic action {of the} day. Israel broadcast warnings into south Lebanon telling civilians to leave the region, a possible prelude to a larger Israeli ground operation. (edited to remove the MSM attempts at making Israel look like the bad guy here)
Right now it looks like Hizbollah can quit, or it can be destroyed.

It will be interesting to find out who really was in that building. From what I was hearing, Isreali spy drones had been looking for something or someone all night, then just as the day broke and people began to come out of buildings it was hit. Why would it have been hit unless it was believed to hold Hezzbollah leaders.

I think the Israeli troops have been itching for this for a while and are taking out any and all targets they can.

The average American has no idea how sophisticated Israeli intelligence operations function. They most likely knew the names of who was in that building. I read in another report that they hit that target with 26 tons of high explosive bombs, some of which were bunker busters. Anyone deep underground (where the leadership probably was) was instantly buried and has no way to get out.
This is the first use of the bunker busters I have read about, but this morning I read they are also using them on tunnels and underground hideouts with the same effectiveness. If the terrorists are not far enough underground, they are vaporized by the explosion. If they are deeper than 50 feet, they are buried under tons of rock, dirt, and rubble and cannot get out. They will die a slow an lonely death.

Yes, it's about freaking time Hezbollah got what they've been asking for. I hope Israel squashes those terrorists like the cockroaches that they are.
Wake up, world. There are two, and ONLY two ways of dealing with jihadists:
1. Kill them, or
2. Allow them to kill you.
Middle ground between these extremes, you might ask? As Steve Tyler sang, "Dream on."

That's just wishful thinking, Reverend. Latest I read is that the much vaunted bunker busters failed in their job because the bunkers are very well protected. Actually I was hoping that they had succeeded. So if any fresh news comes in, I wouuld eagerly read it.

Not so. Even if the bunker survives, they're trapped and cannot get out. I like that better, because they'll starve to death or suffocate for lack of air in total darkness as they scratch and dig with their fingernails at more than 50 feet of rocks and rubble and dirt between them and daylight. I wonder if they're still shouting, "Allah Akbar" when they realize they're trapped and are going to die there.

Israel MUST destroy Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel should not stop until this mission is accomplished. America also needs to destroy the Hezbollah cells here in the USA-

Thanks for the link on the counterterrorism blog. The activity in Mexico is quite trobuling. All the more reason to secure the borders. I sure do wish Congress and the President would get to work on this.
