Good.

It was a good call on his part to send NG troops to the border, and he is now reaking the benefits of such a desicion.

Ahnold has more campaign money than God, and he's already spending it.

Doesn't his Kennedy family connections bother you? How about his admitted drug use and orgy shenanigans? The Grope-inator is ok with Repubs?

Ok.

God the Democrats suck.

Isn't it interesting how studies show Republicans are just happier people than the 'Rats?

http://pewresearch.org/social/pack.php?PackID=1

Off topic I know but if a GOP'er can retain the gubernatorial seat in a communist, er um liberabl state like California, how are the 'Rats going to take back congress?

Congressive,

All of that was a long time ago, and by all accounts the married Schwarzenegger has been loyal to his vows.

Let go of the hatred, Congressive: it will eat you alive.

Ok."

Let's see...Kennedy connections, drug use, sexual orgy. If you really see him like that, then an anything-goes-liberal like you should love Arnold.

Kennedy connections: Arnold's remaining a Republican under that kind of stress speaks volumes about his mental strength and character.

Drug (steroid) use: Arnold was honest and admitted to using steroids. He payed the price by nearly dying during a second surgery to replace his aortic valve, IIRC.

Orgy/Groping: I never heard anything more than unsubstantiated rumors about this.

Regarding the steroid use, don't you liberals believe in redemption, and getting your life and priorities back in order?

Posted by: Freedom1 [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 7, 2006 02:46 AM

congressive proves why the donks can't win elections. He has absolutely no clue as who his opponents are. I'm not religious and I make Limbaugh look like a liberal. So, no, Arnolds orgies don't bother me in the least. Well, except to make me jealous. :) As long as the leftist kooks believe that all Republicans are Evangelical Fundamentalists they won't win another national election.

Posted by: CJ [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 7, 2006 09:17 AM

What this seems to show is that the illegal immigration issue is THE issue on which the elections will hinge in Novemeber. If the Govinator's decision to send troops to the border is what gave him the boost in an ultra liberal state like California, then the donks are toast in any state where the GOP candidate has a strong position against illegal immigration.

Posted by: phnxbmed at July 7, 2006 09:23 AM

He's as RINO as they come. I live in this state and the only good thing about Arnold is that he's not completely lunatic like the Pelosi, Boxer, Angelides group...but he's closer to them then he is conservative.

Posted by: Warriornation [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 7, 2006 01:41 PM

Phnxbmed,

Agreed. Maybe this will also mean that Arnold will send more National Guard troops to the border before the November election.? I hope so.

Yeah, you're right. Like Kerry tossing his medals away to protest the injustice of the Vietnam war, it was all a long time ago, although not as long ago as Chappaquiddick. I should just let it go. Time heals everything, right? Although SMOKING GUN -CLICK HERE covers the orgy stories in Ahnold's own words if you've forgotten.

"Regarding the steroid use, don't you liberals believe in redemption, and getting your life and priorities back in order?"

No. Not without time served and reparations made. The very backbone of the ACLU is equal justice under the law. What you might find confusing is that if a billionaire gets five years for stealing ten million dollars, what should a poor black man get who steals a car worth $10,000? Proportionally, he should get nine days. Republicans seem to think he deserves life, because he's committed three crimes: stealing, being poor, and being black. This is reflected in the estimated 20% of all crimes being committed by blacks, while 50% of the prison population is black.

"Let's see...Kennedy connections, drug use, sexual orgy. If you really see him like that, then an anything-goes-liberal like you should love Arnold."

Then I guess you've got liberals all wrong, don't you.

Progressives battle with actual fact every day of our lives. I tell my kids that pot is bad, and they say, correctly, that Bush and Ahnold smoked it and they're president and the govenator. I say divorce is bad, and they say Reagan was divorced and he was president. I say sexual promiscuity is not only dangerous, but emotionally self-destructive and they say Gannon got press clearance into the White House and wasn't even a journalist. I say driving drunk will get you and other people killed, and they point once again to the commander in chief's record HERE.

I guess I'm just bitter that no matter how hard I try to teach my kids the right thing, these bozos like Ahnold and George and Ronnie keep making me look like a stuffy old fool.

BWAHAHAHA! The phrase, "Devil's Advocates" was made for the ACLU.

Of course you do. Actual facts conflict with your worldview and your "progressive" policies. LOL!

You should teach your kids what the Bible says. It says, don't put your faith in man. Man is fallible and sinful by nature. Put your faith in the perfect, God Almighty.

Careful, Freedom, you're sounding a little "fundamental" there. I hope you or your parents or your friends are not divorced, because Jesus says they're perpetual adulterers, no if's and's or butts (sic)! Sure you can ask for forgiveness, but then you must leave your second spouse and return to your first, otherwise your faith without works is dead, and you are choosing to live in sin and must continually ask forgiveness every single day of the rest of your life to be in harmony with the teachings of the Bible.

Oh, and stay away from Red Lobster. They are an abomination.

As for your LOL, were you paying attention to what you wrote? Here, let's recap: actual facts of an adulterous Reagan, pothead, coke-sniffing Ahnold and DUI George, and a male hooker in the WH Press Corps conflict with my "progressive" policies.

What's so funny about that?

Last year Ahnold tried the tactic that worked for Bush in 2004: play to your base. Arnie got his butt kicked. Since then he has returned to the approach that got him elected -- govern from the middle.

Early this year Ahnold (I call him Ahnold because everyone does -- and besides, I can't spell Schwarzenegger) named as his chief of staff Susan Kennedy, a lifetime Democrat, former top aide to Gov. Davis ("Gray" just doesn't have the same gravitas as "Arnold"), former member of the Public Utilities Commission, former chairman of the National Abortion Rights Action League, and a proud, out-of-the-closet lesbian in a long-term relationship. It would be hard to beat that as far as reaching across the aisle goes (well, short of marrying into one of the most influential Democratic families in history, lol!). Susan Kennedy (no relation, as far as I know) is also a tireless, experienced, kick-butt political operative dedicated to getting Arnie re-elected in a landslide. Considering the circumstances, it works for me.

Ricorun-
"Last year Ahnold tried the tactic that worked for Bush in 2004: play to your base. Arnie got his butt kicked. Since then he has returned to the approach that got him elected -- govern from the middle."

Yup. Arnold always reads his reviews and learns from them.

Early this year Ahnold (I call him Ahnold because everyone does-

Sometimes I do, too. Usually I go with "the Terminator" or "Govinator" just because it's fun to call my state's governor such cool names.
:)

- and besides, I can't spell Schwarzenegger)

Neither can I.

Considering the circumstances, it works for me.

Yup.

I'm sure anyone who believes in God would sound "a little fundamental" to you.

The "LOL" was in response to your amusing phrasing of this line-

"Progressives battle with actual fact every day of our lives."-by: congressive

The phrasing you chose made it sound like "progressives" are in a war against reality aka actual fact. That's all. heh. heh.
:)

As for the rest of your post, I'll try to answer it later.

Congressive,

Christians are NOT perfect, just FORGIVEN. This is an important concept, Congressive. You need to understand this. On the subject of perfection, do you know anyone who is perfect? I know of only one person who is perfect. That person is the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Do you think that only perfect human beings can be Christians, Congressive? Do you think only perfect human beings can find Salvation? I don't know anyone who is perfect-except Jesus Christ.

You need to understand the nature of mankind. We are ALL sinners, every one of us. We ALL commit sins. We ALL fall short of perfection. Why? Because of Original Sin. What is Original Sin? It is Adam and Eve's sin of eating the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, in defiance of God.
When Adam and Eve sinned, sin came into the world. Because of Original Sin, we-ALL human beings-were punished. We are ALL born sinners. This broken state between God and mankind is unnatual. This broken state between God and mankind is why God sent to us Jesus Christ-to fix this broken state. God hates sin. Sin separates us from God. Jesus Christ died on the Cross to PAY for our sins. Christ's death was the BLOOD SACRIFICE which PAYED for our sins-yours and mine and everyone else. Christ payed our DEBT in full. Through Christ-through His sacrifice on the cross-we are reconciled to God. When we have faith in God and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and repent of our sins, we are Saved through God's Grace.

Now let's apply this to what you've written:

"Here, let's recap: actual facts of an adulterous Reagan, pothead, coke-sniffing Ahnold and DUI George..."

When we ask forgiveness for our sins ie-Reagan's adultery, Arnold's drug use, Bush's sins-and do our best to stop committing those sins-God forgives us and wipes our slate clean. It doesn't mean we become perfect. It doen't mean that we won't commit future sins or make future mistakes. Here, it doesn't mean that Reagan, Arnold, or Bush became perfect. It just means that if they asked God for forgiveness and turned away from their sins as good Christians should, then God forgave them of their sins and wiped their slates clean. (I don't know them personally, so I use the term "if".)

To help you better understand Christianity, here are several Questions and Answers by Pastor Billy Graham. Click the link to read them.

This one might better explain sin, perfection, and salvation: "If only perfect people could get into Heaven, then none of us would ever go there—because none of us are perfect!"-Billy Graham

Christ is the Answer to Sin -Scroll down to the heading, or read the whole thing.

[Note: If any Christian out there can better explain Original Sin, etc. please jump in!]
