I'm a frequent daily visitor to Blogs for Bush. Do we really need to see the face of "Lurch" Kerry in such a prominent spot? It's enough to give a person nightmares!
Posted by: Allen at June 23, 2006 09:23 AM
Here's my rant on a few topics.
A. Bush/Kerry bumper stickers: Mt fellow liberals, its time to peel those things off! Now those with Bush sickers--leave them on. Its to take note of who's still left of that dwindling base of American idiots who, like Dubya, won't admit that they scrwed up.
B. Why the Left hates Bush: And no, it's not becasue we hate God or woreship Satan. It's the fact that he's:
1.) an incompetent and arrogant frat boy who's never really grown up and never really showed any sort of responsiblity and
2.) he's a dimwit who hires people who are just as incompetent as he is(i.e: Tenent, Brownie, Chertoff)
C. WMD's found in Iraq: For the last time: we went to war over nuclear weapons(which we still haven't found, by the way), not mustard gas! Plus, Rick(i'm down by eighteen points)Santourm's "discovery" was debunked by the Department of Defence the minute it came out. Get over it!

Bank Data Is Sifted by U.S. in Secret to Block Terror
WASHINGTON, June 22 — Under a secret Bush administration program initiated weeks after the Sept. 11 attacks, counterterrorism officials have gained access to financial records from a vast international database and examined banking transactions involving thousands of Americans and others in the United States, according to government and industry officials.
What happened to the leak investigation (on the previous leak) on these reporters Eric Lichtblau and James Risen? They seem to have connections into every secret the United States has and are eager to publish it all.
Can anyone stop them from publishing these articles that hurt our country? Does the president have the authority to stop articles from being published in a time of war?
Posted by: dl at June 23, 2006 09:41 AM
dl-
The only people that could [legally] stop the articles from being published are the editors. Sadly, they are more motivated by money then by what is right. Then again, I'm not quite sure how these articles "hurt our country"...
Posted by: Georgia Frawg at June 23, 2006 09:48 AM
Georgia you are right, I picked the wrong words to use "Hurt our country" has different meanings for both Democrats and Republicans. I knew what I meant when I said it, and a different way of saying it is:
"The blabber-mouths are exposing secrets that the United States government is using to find terrorist, and their printing of our secrets help the terrorists and hurt our efforts to stop them".

The former Iraqi leader had refused lunch Thursday in protest at the killing of one of his lawyers by gunmen, but the spokesman said he ate his evening meal.
Lose a lawyer, skip a meal --- is he trying to start a new type of diet?
"Lose weight with Lawyer and a Lunch diet" has a nice sound to it.

dl,
My thoughts exactly!
When is the government going to stop the liberal traitors from releasing our national security secrets on efforts to fight terrorists and protect American cities and lives? There are already laws against it! When are we going to see those liberals responsible dragged into the courts and hauled off to prison?
It's time those people are placed in prison for life -- no parole -- and if any one is killed because of their actions -- the death penalty!!!
Perhaps the New York Times should be shut down as a terrorist sympathizer!!!!!
Will it take the loss of a major American city and millions killed before Americans wake up and put a stop to the traitorous liberal leakers once and for all!
Is that really what liberal DimOcrats want -- the loss of an American city -- along with the deaths and torture of American soldiers by those terrorists which liberal DimOcrats encourage -- to feed the liberal DimOcrat's incessant anti-American and hate filled propaganda. Do liberal DimOcrats believe that would help their campaign ads for November?
Liberal Democrats --
STOP GIVING AWAY OUR NATIONAL SECURITY SECRETS!!!
STOP HELPING TERRORISTS!!!
Republicans and Conservatives --
Get those laws and amendments drafted NOW to stop once and for all the releasing of national security secrets. Get the laws and amendments ready to stop some of this anti-American speech that has and is harming America's security and helping and encouraging terrorists around the world. Keep them ready and handy. Wait for an attack on America that could have been stopped by the secret programs liberals have leaked to the press. The American voters will support them!

Somewhere in the Constitution it states that only Congress can declare war and only they get to spend money. The President as Commander in Chief is allowed to "lead" the war effort only as long as Congress gives him the money to do so. With ALL of our government under the control of the Republicans, war could go on forever. Also, the Constitution gives no authority to the Military except to carry out lawful orders given by the Commander n Chief. In giving the decision making process for the prosecution of the war in Ieaq to the "Generals", bush is, again, disregarding the letter of the Constitution. Peace

My earlier post is floating around in cyberspace ...
DL: We need to first find out who is leaking this info out to these two. It is a disgrace.
From Hugh Hewitt's site:
Supreme Judge of All Things Bill Keller spoke from on high in the Times' story, and took no questions:
Bill Keller, the newspaper's executive editor, said: "We have listened closely to the administration's arguments for withholding this information, and given them the most serious and respectful consideration. We remain convinced that the administration's extraordinary access to this vast repository of international financial data, however carefully targeted use of it may be, is a matter of public interest."
It's a matter of "public interest" but not of "public safety".
TL: You were right about ONE thing, and that is you ARE ranting.
A. We shall see which party is "dwindling" in 2006 and 2008.
B. I guess being Governor of a very large state and President twice doesn't count as taking any type of responsibility?
C. Mustard gas IS A WMD. And, what do you think Peter Hoekstra's (chairman of the House intelligence committee) motive is for bringing this information to the public?
Posted by: kimberly4bush at June 23, 2006 11:28 AM
teenie,
IGNORANCE of the effects of one's behavior -- YOURS -- is no excuse!
Repeat 1000 times... I WILL STOP HELPING AND ENCOURAGING TERRORISTS!
YOU are encouraging TERRORISTS to KILL Americans!!!
Let's see if you still know how to use a pen and paper. (You seem to have a little trouble with the computer.)
RE: "..an incompetent and arrogant ... boy who's never really grown up and never really showed any sort of responsibility..." (Note: Spelling corrected!)
Take a sheet of paper. Write your above sentence on that paper from right to left. (Note: That's the reverse of the way it is normally written!)
Reverse the direction of each letter as well. (Note: To help you there... observe the way letters like "C", "E", and "F" face. The "open area" normally faces to the right. As you write each letter, reverse them so the "open area" faces to the left.)
Now, hold that piece of paper up place it just under your chin.
Look in the mirror and read the facts!

Classic article in the Times today. This fits some of you wingnuts to a T:
"The United States government abandoned the search for unconventional weapons in Iraq long ago. But Dave Gaubatz has never given up ... More than a year after the White House, at considerable political cost, accepted the intelligence agencies' verdict that Mr. Hussein destroyed his stockpiles in the 1990's, these Americans have an unshakable faith that the weapons continue to exist."

NYTimes and the LATimes = Supporters of Terrorists
Sell out America for a profit, and feeds stories to. Aljazeera who then feeds them to terrorists.
Bill Keller, The New York Times' executive editor, said it considered the administration's arguments but in the end decided to publish. "We remain convinced that the administration's extraordinary access to this vast repository of international financial data, however carefully targeted use it may be, is a matter of public interest."
Dean Baquet, editor of the Los Angeles Times, said: "We weighed the government's arguments carefully, but in the end we determined that it was in the public interest to publish information about the extraordinary reach of this program. It is part of the continuing national debate over the aggressive measures employed by the government."
When is it in the Public Interest to not catch terrorists? Terrorists will never attack the NYtimes or LAtimes now that, they are clealy the allies of terrorists.

Isn't it amazing how the wingnuts will hold on to just about anything that maybe, just maybe, will turn up WMDs in Iraq .. even when their own KING has admitted that there aren't any. There weren't any WMD, wingnuts, your war is a joke ...
... and yet, when a little thing called Science debunks their whole "human activity has nothing to do with global warming" (if the wingnuts will even admit global warming exists) theory, they still won't believe it.
Their God, Bush, says - No WMD. Science says - global warming caused by human activity. Wingnuts say - I don't believe either. Simply astonishing.
"The National Academy of Sciences, reaching that conclusion in a broad review of scientific work requested by Congress, reported Thursday that the "recent warmth is unprecedented for at least the last 400 years and potentially the last several millennia."
A panel of top climate scientists told lawmakers that Earth is heating up and that "human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming.""

The only thing I find sketchy is comments like these, from your associates:
"Does the president have the authority to stop articles from being published in a time of war?" - dl
For some reason I think he was being dead serious. Ever hear of freedom of the press?
Disclosing the fact that the Government has gained access to our financial information ... how does that help the terrorists? Please, I beg of you - explain that to me. What - OBL won't open an account with Bank of American in his name now? I mean, seriously - get real. They know their phones are being tapped. They know their financial information is being looked at. And what books they check out of the library. Hello??? Common sense. I'm surprised you could be so naive.
Stop the fear-mongering. You should WANT to know what your government is up to. Don't cover your eyes and ears and bury your head in the sand and pretend nothing has happened.
On the other hand, you have to give the Admin credit for the crackdown in Miami. Very nice.

Iraq War 101
Why did we go to war in Iraq? The vast majority of members of Congress who voted for the Joint Congressional Resolution authorizing war against Iraq (296-133 in the House; 77-23 in the Senate), said it very well when they committed themselves to the following mission:
Relevant Excerpts:
October 11, 2002
Joint Resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq.
Whereas in 1990 in response to Iraq's war of aggression against and illegal occupation of Kuwait, the United States forged a coalition of nations to liberate Kuwait and its people in order to defend the national security of the United States and enforce United Nations Security Council resolutions relating to Iraq;
Whereas after the liberation of Kuwait in 1991, Iraq entered into a United Nations sponsored cease-fire agreement pursuant to which Iraq unequivocally agreed, among other things, to eliminate its nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons programs and the means to deliver and develop them, and to end its support for international terrorism;
Whereas the efforts of international weapons inspectors, United States intelligence agencies, and Iraqi defectors led to the discovery that Iraq had large stockpiles of chemical weapons and a large scale biological weapons program, and that Iraq had an advanced nuclear weapons development program that was much closer to producing a nuclear weapon than intelligence reporting had previously indicated;
Whereas Iraq both poses a continuing threat to the national security of the United States and international peace and security in the Persian Gulf region and remains in material and unacceptable breach of its international obligations by, among other things, continuing to possess and develop a significant chemical and biological weapons capability, actively seeking a nuclear weapons capability, and supporting and harboring terrorist organizations;
Whereas the current Iraqi regime has demonstrated its capability and willingness to use weapons of mass destruction against other nations and its own people;
Whereas members of al Qaida, an organization bearing responsibility for attacks on the United States, its citizens, and interests, including the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, are known to be in Iraq;
Whereas Iraq continues to aid and harbor other international terrorist organizations, including organizations that threaten the lives and safety of United States citizens;
Whereas the attacks on the United States of September 11, 2001, underscored the gravity of the threat posed by the acquisition of weapons of mass destruction by international terrorist organizations;
Whereas Iraq's demonstrated capability and willingness to use weapons of mass destruction, the risk that the current Iraqi regime will either employ those weapons to launch a surprise attack against the United States or its Armed Forces or provide them to international terrorists who would do so, and the extreme magnitude of harm that would result to the United States and its citizens from such an attack, combine to justify action by the United States to defend itself;
Whereas United Nations Security Council Resolution 678 (1990) authorizes the use of all necessary means to enforce United Nations Security Council Resolution 660 (1990) and subsequent relevant resolutions and to compel Iraq to cease certain activities that threaten international peace and security, including the development of weapons of mass destruction and refusal or obstruction of United Nations weapons inspections in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 687 (1991), repression of its civilian population in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 688 (1991), and threatening its neighbors or United Nations operations in Iraq in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 949 (1994);
Whereas in the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution (Public Law 102-1), Congress has authorized the President `to use United States Armed Forces pursuant to United Nations Security Council Resolution 678 (1990) in order to achieve implementation of Security Council Resolution 660, 661, 662, 664, 665, 666, 667, 669, 670, 674, and 677;
Whereas the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 (Public Law 105-338) expressed the sense of Congress that it should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove from power the current Iraqi regime and promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime;
Whereas on September 12, 2002, President Bush committed the United States to `work with the United Nations Security Council to meet our common challenge' posed by Iraq and to `work for the necessary resolutions,' while also making clear that `the Security Council resolutions will be enforced, and the just demands of peace and security will be met, or action will be unavoidable';
Whereas the United States is determined to prosecute the war on terrorism and Iraq's ongoing support for international terrorist groups combined with its development of weapons of mass destruction in direct violation of its obligations under the 1991 cease-fire and other United Nations Security Council resolutions make clear that it is in the national security interests of the United States and in furtherance of the war on terrorism that all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions be enforced, including through the use of force if necessary;
Whereas Congress has taken steps to pursue vigorously the war on terrorism through the provision of authorities and funding requested by the President to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such persons or organizations;
Whereas the President and Congress are determined to continue to take all appropriate actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such persons or organizations;
Whereas it is in the national security interests of the United States to restore international peace and security to the Persian Gulf region: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This joint resolution may be cited as the `Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002'.
SEC. 3. AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES.
(a) AUTHORIZATION- The President is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as he determines to be necessary and appropriate in order to —
(1) defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and
(2) enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq.
(b) PRESIDENTIAL DETERMINATION- In connection with the exercise of the authority granted in subsection (a) to use force the President shall, prior to such exercise or as soon thereafter as may be feasible, but no later than 48 hours after exercising such authority, make available to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate his determination that —
(1) reliance by the United States on further diplomatic or other peaceful means alone either (A) will not adequately protect the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq or (B) is not likely to lead to enforcement of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq; and
(2) acting pursuant to this joint resolution is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorist and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001..

If the US congress passed a law tomorrow that said everyone in the world had to wear brown shoes, that would only go as far as international waters. The laws and amendments passed by us, only affect us.
On the other hand, the sixth amendment states that treaties we sign onto, are just as final as our constitution, we signed onto the UN charter, and that states we will not unilaterally, or pre-emptively attack or invade other nations without SecCouncil approval, since the 1441 resolution to introduce inspectors back into Iraq was side-stepped by us, our mandate to invade iraq was illegal, according to international law, now since we aren't part of the international court, we don't have to respond to charges brough up there, but we still do have to abide by the rules of the UN charter for which we are a member, now go back to sleep.

Not one member of the administration is claiming that we went to war over 500 artillery shells. Do I have to pull out the Colin Powell speech in front of the UN (500 tone of VX nerve gas)? Please.

VIMY, FRANCE (4/14/01) - Thousands of people have fled the area surrounding an unexploded weapons stockpile near Vimy, France. Most of it contains lethal mustard gas, now an illegal weapon in war.
NebMil, call President Bush and mobilize the army, the French are hiding WMD!!!!

That VX gas was shipped to Syria and is being stored under the watchful eye of the Russian Speznaz.
Why did Saddam hide those "inert and useless" Sarin and Mustard Gas WMD shells all those years from the UN inspectors?

White phosphorous shells, which produce smoke, were used in Fallujah not for illumination but for screening purposes, i.e., obscuring troop movements and, according to an article, "The Fight for Fallujah," in the March-April 2005 issue of Field Artillery magazine, "as a potent psychological weapon against the insurgents in trench lines and spider holes …." I have an antique rifle in .208 Ross. The ammunition is, well hard to find and definitely NOT new. The newest stuff is from the '50's. And yet, I kill varmints with it every year.....
Until we retired our battle-ships a few years ago, they were firing ammunition made in World War Two. Mexico still uses American tanks made during World War Two. And libs – get this – every year in France several people get killed (usually farmers) by accidentally setting off World War One or World War Two ordinance.
The libs here are being deliberately obtuse. They know that millions of dead Jews prove that Sarin is deadly. They know that mustard gas is deadly (how many can claim to have known a mustard gas victim like I did?). Of course the ammunition is deteriorated. Three and a half years of the time it's been buried is because of us... They throw around words like unusable and deteriorated like they know what they’re talking about. But they don’t. An ordinance officer would pick through a given stock and pick out the serviceable ammunition to use. The gas was EXACTLY what we were afraid of going in. That’s why our guys were wearing masks and those awful chemical suits. Rubber suits don’t protect you from nuclear weapons. (And Teenage pimple and Axis, and TEO – aluminum foil hats won’t protect you from the voices so take those things off.)
The liberals are now re-defining, re-explaining, and retrenching. It was never about any particular fact. It was always about hatred of Republicans for removing them from power in the House and Senate.
When your whole outlook is clouded by blind hatred, you do not care about facts if they seem inconvenient to your views. The deliberate misstatement mixed with ignorance coming from the left is staggering. Your hatred is your defining attribute.

They said all chemical weapons found since 2003 were produced before the 1991 Gulf War and they had no evidence Saddam was producing or stockpiling chemical weapons after that. "

Walter Mondale: Blow Up North Korean Missile
Former Vice President Walter Mondale said Friday he supports a pre-emptive U.S. strike against a North Korean missile, saying the U.S. should tell North Korea to dismantle the missile or "we are going to take it out."
"I think it would end the nuclear long-range dreams of this dangerous country," said Mondale, who was the 1984 Democratic presidential nominee and a former U.S. ambassador to Japan.
The tensions are over North Korea's apparent preparations to test-fire a Taepodong-2 missile, which is believed to have a range of up to 9,300 miles. That would make it capable of hitting much of the U.S. mainland.
Mondale, 78, said North Korea already has nuclear weapons and its ambition to develop a long-range missile is "one of the most dangerous developments in recent history." It's so dangerous, he said, because of the nation's isolation from the international community and its unpredictable leader, Kim Jong Il.
"Here's this bizarre, hermit kingdom over there with a paranoid leader getting ready to test a missile system that can hit us," Mondale said.
Former President Clinton's defense secretary, William Perry, also advocated a pre-emptive strike in The Washington Post, but National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley brushed aside Perry's suggestion. Mondale spoke about a pre-emptive strike during an appearance on WCCO-AM in Minneapolis.
Mondale and President Jimmy Carter took office in 1976 and were defeated by Republican Ronald Reagan in 1980. Mondale lost as the Democratic presidential nominee in 1984. He was appointed ambassador to Japan in 1993 and is now practicing law in Minneapolis.

"The National Academy of Sciences, reaching that conclusion in a broad review of scientific work requested by Congress, reported Thursday that the "recent warmth is unprecedented for at least the last 400 years and potentially the last several millennia."
A panel of top climate scientists told lawmakers that Earth is heating up and that "human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming." (emphasis - mine)
When I saw this earlier this week, I thought to myself, I'd bet a month's pay that maf53 or one of the other global warming kooks will bring this up the first chance they get. Maf, you did not disappoint. The obvious question that comes to my mind is: what kind of human activity caused the warming as recently as 400 years ago or as long ago as several millennia? Leftorium,
From the thread "Media Traitors"...
RE: "I mean come on it can’t be that bad for you guys, we open up every session of congress with a prayer. The Left does however see the separation of church and state as a founding principle and I'm not arguing that anymore with you because you don’t respect that position even though it has been clearly stated time and again, not by me but by history."
You "claim" to know what the founders of this nation meant, but you don't!
Public prayers have been part of this nation from its very beginnings, just as they were in our schools before some liberal activist judges decided to remove them! When are you liberals going to demand that Congress or the President stop saying a prayer. Your ACLU lawyers are even now going around to all of the schools and demanding that they eliminate the traditional prayer from the graduation service -- the prayers that have been part of those services as long as schools have held graduations!
You never did answer how and why schools were using Bibles in public schools for text books if the founders meant that all reference to God was to be eliminated from schools and public events! They were in the D.C. schools when Thomas Jefferson was president, or did you forget that discussion?
The founders of this nation meant "freedom of religion -- not freedom from religion". The founders of this nation never meant for public prayer and all reference to God to be removed from public view!

According to the Jerusalem Post, Palestinian terror gang Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades says they have chemical and biological weapons:
"The Aksa Martyrs Brigades announced on Sunday that its members have succeeded in manufacturing chemical and biological weapons.
In a leaflet distributed in the Gaza Strip, the group, which belongs to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah Party, said the weapons were the result of a three-year effort.
According to the statement, the first of its kind, the group has managed to manufacture and develop at least 20 different types of biological and chemical weapons.
The group said its members would not hesitate to add the new weapons to Kassam rockets that are being fired at Israeli communities almost every day. It also threatened to use the weapons against IDF soldiers if Israel carried out its threats to invade the Gaza Strip.
“We want to tell [Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert and [Defense Minister Amir] Peretz that your threats don’t frighten us,” the leaflet said.
“We will surprise you with our new weapons the moment the first soldier sets foot in the Gaza Strip.”

Jeremiah,
The name calling and personal attacks from the liberals don't really bother me. When I was a little younger, it probably would have, but not now.
The really irritating thing is all of the lies and garbage liberals post as facts and which most liberal readers believe. Most don't know any better and take what they are told at face value. Today's liberal controlled schools, colleges, and universities don't teach students to think for themselves, and they aren't taught the history and other information needed to do so even if they could. Our liberal posters count on that. Say something that "sounds believable" and most will believe it, especially if it is repeated often enough. We really do need to get those school vouchers moving so that people can put their children in the schools of their choice and get them out of those losing liberal schools!
If you haven't listened to Rush Limbaugh yet, try listening to his show for at least 2 to 3 weeks before you decide if you like the show or not. In addition to his analysis of major news stories and current events, you'll pick up a lot of news you won't hear on the major networks. Keep away from ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN -- they cause brain damage! Watch Fox Network News instead.
I had planned to write more, but I think I'm suffering from weekend liberal overload. Everything keeps coming out either short and repetitive or long, wordy, and rambling... so I think I'll quit while I'm ahead for now.

Sounds like you are on the "right" track!
You may have been listening to Rush longer that me. I listen as often as I can, but don't get the chance every day. I wish Fox News would pick him up, but maybe Rush isn't agreeable to that. I listen to Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and others too, but I get more information from Rush. Hopefully Rush doesn't get in more trouble over that Viagra. It sounds like deliberate harassment to me.
I encourage all of my friends, and everyone else I can, to watch Fox Network News. If more people would stop watching ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and others, perhaps those networks would change their liberal ways.
I know what you mean about those "!'s". I use far too many of them, even though effective writing teaches that they should be used sparingly. The more they are used, the less effective they become.
It looks like this thread is about to run off the bottom of the page, so I guess it time to switch off of it.

B. Why the Left hates Bush: And no, it's not becasue we hate God or woreship Satan. It's the fact that he's:

2.) he's a dimwit who hires people who are just as incompetent as he is(i.e: Tenent, Brownie, Chertoff)

Bank Data Is Sifted by U.S. in Secret to Block Terror
What happened to the leak investigation (on the previous leak) on these reporters Eric Lichtblau and James Risen? They seem to have connections into every secret the United States has and are eager to publish it all.Can anyone stop them from publishing these articles that hurt our country? Does the president have the authority to stop articles from being published in a time of war?
dl-
The only people that could [legally] stop the articles from being published are the editors. Sadly, they are more motivated by money then by what is right. Then again, I'm not quite sure how these articles "hurt our country"...

Have them waiting until an American city is destroyed or tens or hundreds of thousands -- maybe more -- Americans are killed by a terrorist attack that could have been stopped by our [liberal disclosed and formerly] secret efforts to protect America's security, American cities, and American lives.
When that happens, the American people will be wide awake! It won't even take the loss of a city. Let the terrorists set off a few suicide bombs in some crowded American malls and see what happens. American voters will gladly support the necessary laws and Constitutional Amendments... Get 'em ready!!!

You mean the way Reagan helped fund terrorists and dictators like Saddam, the mujahideen and the Contras, which his administration went on to call "freedom fighters"?
"He who lives in glass houss shouldn't be throwing stones."
Try again, AAR.

And, what do you think Peter Hoekstra's (chairman of the House intelligence committee) motive is for bringing this information to the public?
teenie,
IGNORANCE of the effects of one's behavior -- YOURS -- is no excuse!
AAR
Kimberly,
hoekstra is in a safe district, he doesn't care if this thing gets killed, which it did almost immediately by the pentagon, he is safe no matter what the fallout, but it was a chance for Santorum to try and get a few points back...Mr. "I'm not real popular with women"
LOL
Classic article in the Times today. This fits some of you wingnuts to a T:
"The United States government abandoned the search for unconventional weapons in Iraq long ago. But Dave Gaubatz has never given up ... More than a year after the White House, at considerable political cost, accepted the intelligence agencies' verdict that Mr. Hussein destroyed his stockpiles in the 1990's, these Americans have an unshakable faith that the weapons continue to exist."

It's official. Saddam Hussein had WMD's.

No, I guess you are not. You and the rest of the liberal left DO NOT UNDERSTAND! Americans have been so brainwashed by our liberal controlled schools and universities that they CAN NOT THINK -- they REALLY are NOT CAPABLE OF UNDERSTANDING!!!

HAAAAAA, HAAAAA Stop it, you're killing me.
I find the TeenageAngst, almost unbelievable-what an uninformed pimple-faced kid, trying to sound so
well informed, when in fact "pimples" YOU couldn't
find your own ass in the dark. Tenent, was a
"holdover-Clinton's guy"....he should have been thrown out, after Bush took office-but wasn't.
To the rest of you, who agree with the NYSlyme, it
is indeed this type of "disclosures-they feel the
public needs to hear/read about", that puts the on
going investigations of Terrorist cells, etc. in jeopardy. They should be held accountable, as we
need to protect "Lives-Not someone's daily ad-nauseum, reading habits"......If you think there is not a probability, that the group in Florida-given the "right connnections"(had it been an actual Al Queda terrorist they thought they were talking to, rather than an agent) would not have carried out their idea, "Of a Bigger and Better 9/ll", YOU, are definitely mistaken. To the credit of the agencies involved in 'thwarting' these efforts, YOU, liberal fools, SHOULD BE THANKING the people involved in breaking up this
group......OR, perhaps, they will be coming to your neighborhood, killing you and yours' in the near future. Is your hatred/liberalism that important to you in constantly 'bashing this President, who has stepped up to the plate, of the
problems he inherited from an inept admin. prior,
that put Americans in this postion, that "YOU CANNOT, SEE THE TREES FOR THE FOREST"? WHAT A PITY....
It is very interesting to see the neorads have no comments on the NY and LA Times printing a story that jeopardizes the US and our efforts in the war on terror. What a shame. I put America first before my political party.
Since this is OT ... please pray for the safety of the firefighters fighting the fire in my favorite part of my state ... Sedona.
Since this is OT ... please pray for the safety of the firefighters fighting the fire in my favorite part of my state ... Sedona.
Kimberly, what are you so afriad of?
Very nice.
Kimberly,
Did you guys moan and complain when it came to light that 2 years after 9/11 INS was diverting funds from checking up on illegal aliens working in the US?
Here Ye, Here Ye...all you moonbat liberal commie democrats (thats you Maf, Steve, TEBlind, AxHole, Teeny Weeni, and Barny2Nut). Here is your lesson for today from the ever insightful Mark Levin on why President Bush removed Saddam from power and killed his demented sons.
Shorter AAR: We need to repeal the First Amendment and throw the New York Times and the rest of their ilk in jail. It's the pro-America thing to do.
Shorter Jo: And anyone who thinks otherwise is un-American.
nebraska,
Here ye, hear ye...you're a friggin idiot with too much time to listen to Rush during the day.
TEBlind,
AHHH...Did I bust the little bubble of lies you keep spewing. Your nothing but a sound bite from the tards at KozLand.
Rush...you mean the guy with the highest ratings ever acheived in radio who supports President Bush...the guy who recieved the most votes of any President in history. Facts you are just gonna have to deal with little man.
BTW...The Militia daughter is headed to Italy next week to help project America's military power overseas...TEBlind, don't worry there will always be plenty of brave men and WOMEN to protect you wussy liberals. KMA
The UN charter is not a treaty.
Neb, (1) reliance by the United States on further diplomatic or other peaceful means alone either (1) will not adequately protect the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq or (B) is not likely to lead to enforcement of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq; and
There were no WMD, there was no threat to the US. Saddam met the obligations of the UNSC resolutions. The Prez authorized an illegal war.
Nebraska,
You seem to follow KOS pretty close, y'know the most visited political blog on the internet, with higher hit rates than any other conservative blog. LOL
Glad to hear your daughter is getting to see the world, tell her to watch out for italian drivers, they are the worst, If she is in Aviano, tell her to watch out for the gypsies, they will rob her blind.
Ratboy,
do you ever stop being wrong?
here, ill spell it out for you, and provide a link:

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The Iraqi government declared a state of emergency and imposed a curfew Friday after insurgents set up roadblocks in central Baghdad and fired on U.S. and Iraqi troops outside the heavily fortified Green Zone.
This is F’ing unbelievable. We can’t even hold a two square mile section of Iraq three and half years after mission accomplished. Bush/Rummy are pathetic!
Oh Barny...your beyond help.
Sarin and Mustard gas are WMD's...I know cause that is what they were called when I went to all those NBC (thats Nuclear, Biological, Chemical for you moonbats) training classes in my 20+ years in the Air Force. I'm pretty sure thats why they issued us Chem suits and gas masks in the military.
BarnyB...am I going to fast for you?
TeBlind,
Thanks, I will pass on the tip about the gypsies robbing her blind...she should be OK, cause it sounds like the same advice I gave her about voting democrats.
Can't seem to get to Kozland. Everytime I tried my Norton virus scan blocked the connection. Must be a porn site I guess.
Nebraska,
We stockpile White Phosphorus, which we have used in combat, and on areas we knew civilians to be, as well as on personnel (terrorists), White Phosphorus is against our own ROE, when using it for anything more than smoke screens or lighting areas, does that mean someone can come invade us?
Nebraska,
The gypsies may be bad, but the pork coming out of the congress from the republicrats is mind-boggling, can you explain how a conservative congress and executive have expanded the government more than ANY OTHER administration in history?
Neb, those shells were left over from the Iran/Iraq war and were not viable “Weapons”. The sarin was inert and the mustard gas was highly degraded. Not one member of the administration is claiming that we went to war over 500 artillery shells. Do I have to pull out the Colin Powell speech in front of the UN (500 tone of VX nerve gas)? Please.
TE,
Ya got a link to where the US used White Phosphorus to intentionally kill or injure civilians?
Are you getiing this info from that KozPorn site you were talking about...didn't your momma tell you doing that will make you go blind!
Barny,
That VX gas was shipped to Syria and is being stored under the watchful eye of the Russian Speznaz.
Why did Saddam hide those "inert and useless" Sarin and Mustard Gas WMD shells all those years from the UN inspectors?
Barny,
Thanks for finding that link about Mustard Gas being an "Illegal weapon in War"...Saddam had em' and President Bush sent in the troops to recover them...mission accomplished.
Barny,
That VX gas was shipped to Syria and is being stored under the watchful eye of the Russian Speznaz.
Was it (VX gas) shipped in those unmanned drones, or in the mobile weapon labs?
Help me out here.
Barny,
I'l ask again...Why did Saddam hide those "inert and useless" Sarin and Mustard gas shells from the UN Inspectors?
Well Barny,
I guess ya ain't gotta an answer for me.
Can't wait any longer...gotta get to work.
Hey, Barny ya might check out that KozPorn site that TEBlind was talking about and see if them bats got an answer to my question.
NebM, Please don’t act so stupid, it is insulting, but only to yourself. As I pointed out above, it very common to find unused munitions around the frontline. Point to one Pentagon official that agrees with you.
TEO,
"... the most visited political blog on the internet, with higher hit rates than any other conservative blog?"
Let's see... Where would one expect a wagon load of liberal flies to congregate? A "wagon of honey"... or, a "honey wagon"?
AAR
Nebraska,
No, I can provide much better links:

"[November 10, 2005 note: We have learned that some of the information we were provided in the above paragraph is incorrect. White phosphorous shells, which produce smoke, were used in Fallujah not for illumination but for screening purposes, i.e., obscuring troop movements and, according to an article, "The Fight for Fallujah," in the March-April 2005 issue of Field Artillery magazine, "as a potent psychological weapon against the insurgents in trench lines and spider holes …." The article states that U.S. forces used white phosphorous rounds to flush out enemy fighters so that they could then be killed with high explosive rounds.]"
http://usinfo.state.gov/media/Archive_Index/Illegal_Weapons_in_Fallujah.html
"A spokesman for the U.S. military has admitted that soldiers used white phosphorus as an "incendiary weapon" while trying to flush out insurgents in the northern Iraqi city of Fallujah last year."
"An unknown number of Iraqi women and children died of phosphorus burns during the hostilities, Italian documentary makers covering the battle for Fallujah have claimed."

Nebraska,
The Speznaz are also holding Tupac and Elvis, along with the alien autopsy. LOL!
FORT KNOX, Ky. (Army News Service, June 22, 2006) – The Army has raised the enlistment age to 42, made possible under provisions of the Fiscal Year 2006 National Defense Authorization Act.
Now granddads can share the IED experience with their grandkids.
AAR,
You'de be funny, if you weren't such a moron.
I guess that means that conservative flies congregate on smaller sh*t piles...does that make it better?
I have an antique rifle in .208 Ross.
Hey Nebraska, you sure are stupid. What kind of discharge did you get?
" But the intelligence officials, who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity, said the weapons were too degraded to have posed a threat to US forces in March 2003.
They said all chemical weapons found since 2003 were produced before the 1991 Gulf War and they had no evidence Saddam was producing or stockpiling chemical weapons after that. "
Kahn,
You ignore reality, you're an idiot, and a contrarian. You have no facts to back you up. LOL
LOSER!
by the way, gun powder and CW are two completely different things, sarin does have a shelf-life much lower than gunpowder, PUTZ!
Were they listed in the Deulfer report or not Barney? If not it is obviously incomplete. What else have we not found yet? Will you at least go so far as to say the Deulfer report could be wrong?
“We can’t allow Saddam to possess weapons of little destruction.”
“..we cannot wait for the final proof -- the smoking gun -- that could come in the form of a fart cloud.”

Post of the week
"C. WMD's found in Iraq: For the last time: we went to war over nuclear weapons(which we still haven't found, by the way), not mustard gas! Plus, Rick(i'm down by eighteen points)Santourm's "discovery" was debunked by the Department of Defence the minute it came out. Get over it!"
That's from teenage liberal werewolf. No, we did not go to war with Iraq over nuclear weapons. We talked about nuclear desires, but never over nuclear weapons.
Must have been all those Hummers and Suburbans the Europeans were driving or, perhaps the native Americans were breathing out more than they were breathing in. heh.
Retired Spook...bingo. I've been waiting for it. I hear the population 400 years ago wasn't even over a billion so it must have been all of those 8 cylinder goat carts. Maybe the horses farted more back then.
LOL
TEO,
Now I expected a little more creativity from you than that.
How much is Karl Rove paying you and axis for your posts?
That was really sharp and shrewd of Rove to have you pose as ultra left-wing liberals on a Conservative Website. Who'd have ever "thunk it" that all of those far left liberal comments could do so much to energize and motivate Republicans, Conservatives, and Christians!
Have you noticed?
AAR
“what kind of human activity caused the warming as recently as 400 years ago” Ever hear of slash and burn?
How about burning of the peat? Than you have the industrial revolution, than the combustion engine.
A gradual progression of ever increasing levels of CO2 gasses released into the environment by mankind.
It is not that hard to figure out.
Your hatred is your defining attribute.
Period.dot.bingo!
That's why you're wasting your time debating these window-lickers. This is all a game to them; do you think they even remotely resemble patriotic Americans? Besides, teeny-weenie lily-livered liberal may be Canadian; he spelled defense "defence." This is the Canadian/British spelling. Of course, he misspells so many words, he could've just misspelled it.
No outrage in the DBM, or on the left, over the brutal murders of our soldiers. Eyes gouged out, hearts cut out, and beheaded.
They raise holy hell over panties on the head or barking dogs, but let our own guys, military or civilian, get brutalized, and not a peep.
I heard some caller on the radio today mention the Iranian and Syrian support the terrorists in Iraq are receiving. Why don't we do something about this? We could do this without ground forces. F-16's are wonderful creatures...
Kozland...don't worry Nebraska. That "tolerant" site would ban you in about 30 minutes tops. It's for the likes of TEO, Axis and others.
Yet ironically they come here hourly and are allowed to spew their hatred consistently and constantly.
Which site, may I ask, is more tolerant?
Maybe the horses farted more back then.
Warrior, I think you've nailed it.
How about burning of the peat? Than you have the industrial revolution, than the combustion engine.
A gradual progression of ever increasing levels of CO2 gasses released into the environment by mankind.
It is not that hard to figure out.
Barney, I've read this 4 or 5 times, and, I gotta be honest, I haven't the slightest idea what you're trying to say. Did you start happy hour a little early today?
he spelled defense "defence"
keefer, defence is de best way to keep de illegals out.
Burning of peat....you are so delusional.

Be careful what you say if you post there; I think the guy who runs it is gay, and very intolerant to gay-bashers. I was banned a long time ago, for what I don't know, but now I can get back on. I changed my name and everything's fine. Too many comments per thread, it's hard to keep up...

What a "tolerant" individual he was.

Of course the terrorists knew we would be tracking bank accounts. Of course they knew their phones would be tapped. And because of the NY Times, they now know HOW we are doing it. Get it, dude? You neorads put the chance of your winning an election in front of the security of the country. How much more pathetic can you possibly get?
BTW, Democrats and Republicans on the Intelligence Committee asked the NY Times NOT to print the story. The times put the possibility of their winning a Pulitzer Prize in front of the security of the country.
Neorads and the NY Times = two peas in a pod.
"Neorads and the NY Times = two peas in a pod."-kimberly4bush
Or "Pod People". heh.

Leftorium,
From the thread "Media Traitors"...

Freedom1,
They probably tapped into Saddam's stockpile in Syria, or perhaps Syria loaned them one of those "dual use" trailers that Saddam designed and intended only to "fill balloons with hydrogen"!
If I were the Palestinians, I would not go out of my way to irritate Israel by firing chemical and biological filled rockets at Israeli cities and citizens. Israel might just resolve the problem once and for all!

AAR,
Yeah, It really upsets me when they make fun of you, that's why I go a little ape sometimes, because I know how it feels when I was made fun of!
oh well, so much for that.
Now on the bright side..:).......
I have been listening to Rush now for about twelve years, I first heard rush when I was helping my neighbor up the road cut his winter firewood he would open the pickup door and turn the radio on full blast so's we could hear him all the way down in the woods LOL but I have been listening to rush ever since and I like what I hear when I listen to rush, He really gives those dems a rough time, and he cuts straight to the chase, he puts those dems right in their place, When rush gets mad he don't take nothing off of them!!
Rush is a good guy! :)
I also told the same neighbor about all the trash I was hearing on the networks that you stated there, and he told me about Fox News and I and my family have been watching Fox only for about six years now, A very respectable news organization, Dad watches Bill Oreilly every night!!
I know what you mean when you are talking about "overload" I have been suffering the same thing!
Let's just hang in there, and the Lord will work things out for us!! :)
Jeremiah!
I don't know what it is but I have a habit of putting so many exclamation marks, poor ol me!
Jeremiah,
Sounds like you are on the "right" track!
Keep up the recruiting efforts!
