What Media Bias? Part 51

The MSM is entirely predictable - and a whole bunch of us on the right have been predicting this headline ever since President Bush's speech on immigration:

Immigration Sweep Brings Fear to Community

What is the story about? Well, its about how the enforcement of US law is causing "fear" among the illegals...and it is written as if such fear is a bad thing. What is next? "Jail Brings Fear to Bank Robbers"? Illegals are supposed to be fearful of breaking US law.

This is the way the MSM will play it, however: the illegals are the good guys, while those who enfore our laws are the bad guys...look for movies and TV shows which will have bigoted Americans having their eyes opened to how wonderful it is to break our laws if it will just allow Wise Caring Foreigner to come in and teach us all how not to be narrow-minded Americans.

Its going to get nauseating out there, good people.

I agree...They have entered the country 'illegally' hence the label 'illegal American'. They have little to no rights in my opinion and should be deported ASAP since they broke the law, our law. I've always said we should build the 'Great Wall of Texa-Cali' and be done with it. They have no respect for our country by entering illegally and shouldn't be allowed to enter in the near future.

LOL!!

I think the most telling part of the whole story, was when they mentioned the guy who was deported, was back in the US within a week.

I am looking on with disgust when in 10 years we slash the border patrol's budget, and we are back at square one with a shiny new fence, and a bunch of predators and dune-buggys we can't put agents into...this congress is useless, lead by an empty suit.

By the way, I totally forgot to mention the article from the WaPo this morning:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/06/18/AR2006061800613.html

I love how out of touch this administration is. They claim to be tough on national security, yet the entire time they are reducing oversight of companies, right up until the moment they need to get some votes for their ditto-heads in congress. it's laughable to see just how dumb these guys really are.

How can you claim to be tough on National Security when you scale back INS enforcement by 95%? In 1999 the INS issued fines against 417 companies, in 2004, there was 3...how do you claim to be protecting us, when the mechanisms for ensuring illegals aren't working in this country, possibly leading double lives like the 9/11 attackers, are being totally scrapped?

What a joke guys...way to hold your representatives feet to the fire, are you still asleep after winning in 2004, figuring Der leader will take care of you? LOL!!

Not to get off-thread, but Newsmax.com is reporting the RFK Jr 2004 voter theft theory has been debunked by a non-conservative newspaper in Cleveland. Wonder if the MSM will pick this up and on what page it will appear?

No employer arrests?

Poor poor TEO and his poor poor empty suit argument. It makes as much sense as his scrambled syntax. I can't tell if the budget was slashed 10 years ago, or will be slashed 10 years into the future. But it is clear that no matter when this budget slash did/will take place, IT WILL ALL BE GEORGE BUSH'S FAULT!!!

Five years before he took office or seven years after he leaves, it will all be his fault. A theory which explains the death spiral of the Democratic Party.........

And as for putting an agent into a predator, unless that 'predator' is a new kind of assault vehicle, I'd say TEO is watching too many scary movies.

Apparently my previous post is never to appear. But to paraphrase succinctly... kimberly, could you give me a reference for the AP article cited by Newsmax? I can't find it anywhere. Can you help me?

Almiranta,

Thanx for the syntax help, i'm sorry to dissapoint you with grammar.

"Truth Brings fFear to Democratic Party"

--Nice to meet you Ms. Pot

Now that i've had my morning chuckle at your expense, I can move onto the rest of your blathering.

You can attack me all you want, but the WaPo story speaks for itself; It's saying loud and clear that for all the fearmongering and political posturing, the congress in the past 12 years has consistently shirked their obligations to keep up safe. how can you claim to be tough on national defense when you go about slashing budgets for the very offices who are tapped to keep up on illegal immigration? Talk about empty suits.

Do you have anything to add to the debate, or are you simply going to attack a simple, liberal nobody to make yourself feel better? Sounds like the tactic of a factless child.
