I say anyone who can should go to Geno's Steaks in South Philadelphia, PA and give Joey Vento your business.

You can count on it! Geno's it is. Hey Axis and others, how is your mob hunt of Karl Rove going? Prison time for Joe?

I live in Philly - the city of brotherly love. If you've ever been to Geno's or Pat's it gets extremely busy and one must order a specific way.For instance, a 'Whiz with' is a cheese steak with onions and cheese whiz. Its not that people are ordering in different languages but alot have strong accents and they will deny service if you order the wrong way. Some people see this as a discrimination of sorts, but thats just bull. These steak joints have been open for years and the neighborhood is asian/latino/italian. Soooo, If you can't order correctly and coherently they send you to the back of the line. If it gets me my steak faster...Rock on! Hooray for Geno's!

AKA The Soup Nazi.

Life imitating art!

I'll be there in July sometime and it's more or less my home court. Friends and neighbors, lunch is on me every day for a week, so long as we go to Geno's.

I agree with Geno, but I like going elsewhere for steaks in Philly. And not Pat's.

Puh-LEEEEZE, Ash, it's art imitating life. Pat's and Geno's were here long before Seinfeld!
