Two Holy War Stories

Past B4B contributor Deborah Weiss recently had a commentary published by the Washington Times. She discusses a conference she attended held by America's Truth Forum on "The Underlying Roots of Terrorism: Terrorism's Threat to World Peace and National Security." Congrats to Debbie for getting published, and I invite you all to check it out.

Matt - any comment on the piece? What did you get out of it that made you want to post it on your blog? Is it that Islamic Jihadists are evil? That Islam is evil and Christianity is good?

I hope this thread catches on. This could be REALLY entertaining.

It was a really good article, and all the more satifying to know that through all of this, people can absorb the real "truth behind" the ones responsible for the people who lost their lives on 9/11 and in the middle east.

As for myself I loudly applaud Mrs.Weiss for her efforts to show the world what the "TRUTH" really is and I send my thanks as grattitude.

I am really pleased with her statement, just to know that we still have the freedom in america for the christian family of america to worshipp
the one and only creator of "ALL".

But I am afraid my friend, that if a new congress should take over, the christian way of life as it is in america could be in jeopardy.

I am proud to say though that we have a president who has deep roots in, and an uninterrupted respect for the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, OUR CREATOR!!

Which in it's own self has spared american's one and all, much disparity.

So once again, thanks to Mrs.Weiss for her ambition, on behalf of the christian's of america.

Jeremiah, let me ask you this: If you believe that the difference between the Arab world and the Western world is a difference in values and character, of barbarism versus civilization; of good versus evil, then what do you think about our chances of building a democracy in Iraq? What's the likelihood democracy could spread across the Middle East? Isn't that belief diametrically opposed to the intended goal? How do you reconcile the two?

Posted by: Ricorun [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 21, 2006 11:03 AM

Dear ricorun,

The chances of our creating a democracy in Iraq, are very slim, because they do not want democracy, because they are taught from childhood that God is not the true God,You see, they worshipp Muhammed. There are a few christians there but not many.

Did Muhammed raise from the dead like Jesus?

Our chances are slim you see, because all we can do is try to help them understand,we cannot make them understand about peace, happiness, and good fortune.

The only thing I have against the Iraqi nation people is they do not want to except "PEACE".

The only reasonable explanation for this is because, they were delivered unto condemnation when God delivered all other nation's, from the Grips of this country.

Well, let me ask you, How do we reconcile?,above the fact that it is almost impossible with a condemned nation.

Jeremiah said: "Our chances are slim you see, because all we can do is try to help them understand,we cannot make them understand about peace, happiness, and good fortune."

It sounds like you're saying that our chances of "victory" in Iraq are essentially hopeless. So... what do you suggest?

Posted by: Ricorun [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 21, 2006 05:32 PM

No ricorun,I'm not talking about "victory" as far as the war is concerned, heavens no,we could destroy them with hardly any effort at all,

What I'm talking about is explaining it so they understand,in a verbal communication system, not by bombing them to peices.

By helping them in this manner we avoid all unnecessary bloodshed.

But still it is like I said it would be useless to do so,because these people will never change.

Let me get one thing straight here though, as long as there are Israeli's & Iraqi's There will alway's be a war in between and we shall intervene,I believe this to be going on as long as the world exists.

Ricorun,

If not being nosy, what is your religion?

Posted by: Jeremiah [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 21, 2006 09:31 PM

I'm Catholic, Jeremiah.

Jeremiah, so you think the Western world should take the helm and take all responsibility of governing away from the Middle East and into our appointed hands?

Gee, that worked beautifully in Africa and South Asia....

The Middle East was well able to hold stable empires around the same time as all the other big powers in Europe and Asia were growing. The Europeans just happened to go around the Middle East's trade monopoly into the Indian Ocean, ruining their economies, especially the Ottomans.

I find something downright scary in your rethoric that nations with Christian roots are somehow better understanding of all these saintly values. Funny how they seemed to be absent during affairs such as Iran-Contra, the backstabbing of Africa during the Cold War, and My Lai. But hey, I guess that just wasn't the time of year that we were Christians...

Alf,You sound Just like another troll that I know in my neck of the woods.

You ask,So you think western world should take the helm and take all resposibility of governing away from the middle east and into our appointed hands?

Alas my freind you hold the key,but are you willing to use it in a manner of solitude or do you want to show the world? You see the western world has no power unless it is granted, who holds the power?,Mr.President.He's the one who makes judgement by his Time and will granted him from above, believe me if it were'nt for george bush you would not be sitting where you are right now.

Like I have told others here, God works through people like george bush, people like george who FEAR GOD,Mister and whoever you are,you are on dangerous grounds for making fun of the christian people of this country because God could strike you down in a heartbeat if he decided to and,If it wasn't for God's mighty hand holding on to you, your life would wither away so fast you would'nt know what happened.

I don't know but YOUR RHETORIC SOUNDS terribly EVIL for some reason, from what you just said I am one hundred percent positive that you are NOT a christian by NO means, and I would highly suggest to you to seek out a good bible believing church and get in it, and ask God to forgive you,for what you have against the christian family of america, and start believing in God because WITHOUT GOD WE HAVE NO HOPE!!
