Let's do Hillary v Jeb in 2008.
That way, a Clinton will mop the floor with a Bush once again.

Looking forward to '08 are we? Excellent. Me too. Of course we do have the ol' midterms. Were you looking forward to '00? '04? Are we really to slake our thirst on the bitter, bitter tears of frustrated Bolshies yet again? Wow, that would be great but don't you guys get dehydrated? Oh, and that floor moppin'... If 48% in a three way race is a floor moppin' so be it. What happened to Kerry? Now, THAT is the rerun that would be truly delightful. Primaries will be here afore ye know it. Will you laugh then? We shall see. Ya gotta love a gaggle of morons who NEVER get tired of being wrong. Or do you?

I think there is to much "Bush fatigue."

I think one thing Americans never have to worry about is another Bush in the White House. We've learned our lessons from the first 2.

I don't see it. Jeb is younger but I don't see him getting a shot. Besides there are plenty of other good choices out there no need to get more "anti-Bush" sentiment.

Just what have you learned, Captain (mo)Ron?
I've learned that there are a lot of hateful twits such as yourself, who have nothing to offer but whining...

Does anyone but me notice that by 2008 the only people inhabiting the White House for the last 20 freakin' years has been members of one of only two nuclear families? That's a big problem for me. How about anyone else? It seems to me that both power and money has to keep churning from generation to generation. I am not at all in favor of generational dynasties in any way, shape, or form. It's just so... un-American. We need new ideas on all fronts, not more entrenchment of the same ideas. I am so thoroughly sick of the powers that be I could just puke.
That said, there is also something to be said about not throwing the babies out with the bathwater (paraphrasing John Updike in "Rabbit Redux"). But the bathwater clearly needs cleaning. A thorough cleaning. And I would hope the "babies" should be considered more in terms of ideas than DNA. And yeah, I realize I am proposing an interesting metaphorical convolution. But so be it. And besides, my metaphorical convolution is not so different than Updike's, lol!

Fool me once shame on it...fool me twice, uh....you're not going to fool me twice.
Oh hell.

Matt, I wish Jeb Bush would run for president in 2008. I would surely vote for him. If he chose Dick Cheney as his running mate, I could use the same lawn sign that I used in 2004!!

When it all said and done,I want to look back and know out president did all he could do to protect my family and country. So far I think he has done just that.I think Jeb Bush is the only answer republicans have for 2008.The Demacrates have proven to be whimps when americans are in danger from fanatics.

At this point, why would anyone vote for Jeb Bush unless they are simply walking lockstep along party lines? The same can be said for almost any potential candidate offered by any party. I understand party loyaly and common philosophical values, but maybe it might be in the best interest of the country to actually understand where the candidate stands on the specific issues before rubber stamping your vote based on a name. Voting for Jeb because he's Bush is like voting for Hillary because she's Clinton. I personally feel that both parties can offer better and at this point could not vote for either.

I work for a television station in Tallahassee, Florida and our news department keeps up with State politics quite closely. So far Jeb has flatly stated that he has no interest in running for President. However, that being said, a lot can happen between now and the Republican primary. We will just have to wait and see what develops politically in order to better predict the 2008 Presidential election.

Are you people kidding me? No "Bush" will ever be in the WH again. It would be a clean sweep by the democrates. Bushes comments on his brother just shows how detatched he is from reality... People just don't just dislike him...they hate him and see him as a bafoon who couldn't lead his way out of a wet paper bag. He has 0 (zero) credibility left and anything he endorses, people will do the opposite...
Bush is a joke and so are the people who helped put him in office..
The worst president ever!!!

I well remember the media rapturously gushing over the establishment of a royal dynasty during the JFK years. Just thing: 8 years of JFK; 8 years of RFK; 8 years of EMK. THEN, the younger generation will be eligible to run, and the Kennedys will remain in power endlessly.
Yuk.

President Jeb Bush. Wow, that would be sweet. I know Jeb parents would be proud of Him. Three Presidents in one family: what a legacy. I'm not from Florida, don't know anything about Governor Jeb Bush. However, I would vote for Him in a heart beat. Come on Governor Jeb Bush, give up your pride, listen to Bush41/Bush43 and run for President in 08. There should be a sign that says: give it up Governor Jeb Bush and run for President in 2008. JUST GIVE IT UP NOW!
