Matt, I would like you to back up that they would increase unemployment...
Here is my question... If Bush is doing everything that he does to the letter and completely legally, then why have such ambivalence to an investigation?
It seems to me that if Bush is completely legit, an investigation could only make him look good.

Rove's new mantra is;"The bogeyman will get you if you don't vote Republican in November". Osama, is still making public appearances after 5 years of war and a trillion dollars in arms and the in-competent Republians want the voters to give them two more years in office? Yeah right, vote Left. Peace

"...and would be a complete waste of time and resources."
Agreed.
... Like the Clinton impeachment hearings.

Georga Frawg,
Just accusing a politician of wrong doing, even if they are innocent, does political damage. That politician has to work even harder to overcome. It does damage to the politician and their party. If you hit them with repeated accusations and investigations they never recover. Then you add in the MSM it even gets worse. Two reasons Bush’s, in my opinion, approval rating is where it is. Bottom line it’s all dirty politics. It’s not good for the country, just the party from whom the accusations and investigations come from, at least when it’s only politically motivated.

"Included in the Democrats' "agenda" for victory in November is increased unemployment, forcing seniors to pay more for prescription drugs, raising taxes, and investigate Bush for fighting the war on terror."
Well dang if the Dems aren't dumb as a box of rocks! They actually put that stuff above in their so-called "plan?"
OK, dummies, rule one is if you are gonna do bad things, don't advertise it!!
We didn't advertise the K Street Project in the Contract with America, we just did it.
Are the liberals retarded or what?

"I can think of a number of Democrats whose actions should be probed... if that's the game they want to play."
Sounds good. Get rid of the corrupt Bush admin, the corrupt Republicans and the corrupt Democrats. Demand actual allegiance to the good of the people and the Constitution from our so-called leaders, not corruption, ass kissing, spying, harassment, lies for war, slander, etc.

Everybody is already saying the Democrats won. This is totally going to backfire on them. Why would people vote for the Democrats when the only thing that they'll do with their power is investigate???

Actually, one of the things that they said they would do is impliment all of the 911 Commission advice.

Even if there is no way to actually DO the things they suggested... unless you're interested in nothing come into our ports with relative speed (so no more Target or Wal-Mart items) and want to wear terry cloth robes on board the plane after you've been anally and vaginally probed for toe nail clippers.
The best way to get rid of terrorism is to improve the lives of those who see nothing but bleakness, instead of putting our own hands over our own eyes and pretend we see no evil and hear no evil.

It's very simple gang. Every GOP candidate in America should run photos of Nancy Pelosi and remind America that if the Dems win the House, she is 3rd in line to the Presidency.
If that doesn't guarantee a GOP win then this country is essentially finished anyway.

Count me as one of those that agrees in some respects, but if it means rewarding these people for blowing up things, killing people, etc.....count me out.

impeach the president huh? is the dept of wildlife gonna issue hunting licence (and stamps) for congresscritters? wonder if that might make our "beloved opposition" shut the hell up....lets face it, all you got to do is properly show them where their self interest lies. don't bother appealing to their "better nature" congress doesn't issue one

This one is just too easy...I'll pass.
By the way, I had a couple of days off now. I bought a few items at different places, even mail order. You know, nothing, nothing I bought is from America anymore. What is up with that? Nothing. Things I was sure that HAD to be made here. Nope. It saddens me, for once I do not blame this on the boy wonder. Really. It's becoming heartbreaking not to find ANYTHING anymore stamped "made in the USA"
Peace.
