I can't believe we made these guys the focus of our nation. We have given up thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars to chase after a group of guys in the middle of the desert firing guns and looking to stir up trouble. We should be ashamed.

Posted by: steve [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 4, 2006 04:59 PM

I don't agree with steve that we shouldn't be going after these guys. They do kind of want to kill us all...

Anyways, why would he need to use a gun? All of these head terrorist types send in their little minions to do their dirty work anyways....

Posted by: Georgia Frawg [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 4, 2006 05:11 PM

I'm ashamed...that people like steve exist in America. Steve, please tell me you';re Canadian--please!!!

Posted by: keefer [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 4, 2006 05:24 PM

I think the significance of the weapon is that it is a SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon). It is used by American military personnel. It was probably captured at some point. Also, if you will notice in the beginning, those are m-16's behind him. These are also only used by US military.

Steve represents the problem Americans have, they don't understand the evil these people represent. They are also passed off as a small group of thugs firing weapons in the desert.

This is horribly misguided as Zarqawi has systematically recruited suicide bombers and fellow religious fanatics to pursue one goal...to kill as many Americans as possible. They are organized, methodical, and smart. They are a difficult enemy to fight, but don't think for a second they wouldn't come to American and bring terror here.

Don't pay any attention to steve. He's a pro communist Anti-semite who trolls several conservative blog sites. He's just a child, don't give him the attention that he craves.

As for Zarqawi, his days are numbered.

Posted by: NC Cop at May 4, 2006 06:38 PM

I'm with Georgia on this one. Why does Zarqawi need to know how to use a gun?

Though my bigger question is, what is he doing with an M249 SAW?!? He was also sitting next to some, what looked like M16's. One with a M203 gernade launcher on it.

I tell you one thing, I wouldn't want to go shooting with old Z. He sure as heck doesn't practice safe shooting practices. He could have shot half of his own guys for us the way he was moving with that weapon.

Hard to believe that anyone that looks this soft, fat, and incompetent around weapons could be as dangerous as he is.

I take solace in the knowledge that he has a date with a hellfire carrying predator. The sooner the better. - mw

NC Cop there are a few steve's on this site, but then alot of what you think you know is actually crap. How long did the Zealots survive when Rome came after them? This is groundhog day, and bush plays the role of Nero. We all know how Nero ended up and what he was doing as Rome burned. Oh, I love Jews and Arabs but, I dislike Zionists which doesn't make me an anti-semite, right? Peace

Keefer

There are millions of good Americans like Steve.
Without people like Steve your Country would have no hope for the future. I can see the number of disenters growing into a ground-swell that will sweep away the stench you are now wallowing in.
Thank God for all those like Steve who love their
Country.

Posted by: Canadian Observer at May 4, 2006 08:28 PM

I find it immensely funny that some people are so certain of the ultimate correctness of their views even without any evidence to support their claims. I suppose one may think that I'm misguided when I hear things like, "alot of what you think you know is actually crap," from steve and, "Thank God for all those like Steve who love their Country," from Canadian and find both statements extremely ironic, but nothing would get done if everyone labelled as misguided by some sideshow opportunist were immediately shunned by the whole of society.

Both of you, who seem to dislike and disagree with those on the conservative side of things based on the style and technique of their communication (supposed heated rhetoric, absolutism, abstract analogies), as well as their choice acceptance of certain bits of information, don't you find it slightly ironic that you employ in the next breath analogies to ancient Rome that are completely out of context, as well as absolute statements about what the ideal American is or what is the best kind of American? If you clamor to refute any claimed similarities between Saddam and other travesties of humanity, why has your resolve evaporated when your instinct leads you to liken Bush to Nero? If you rush to defend depraved Middle-Eastern rulers with the notion that there is no absolute evil and that terrorism is subjective, why do you now so quickly hasten to label your own personal political dissidents against you as terrible, worthless, and burdenous? Don't you find that slightly ironic? Even if you yourself haven't made the first claims, can you admit that others on your side have?

It's also ironic that Canadian Observer pretends to know what's best for America, as if his opinion is the law of the land.

Anyway, I suppose the video doesn't really offer much vital information. I suppose the point of the video is to make fun of the incompetence of the terrorist leader, much like how some people make fun of Bush when they point out a few of those lens-capped binoculars situations.

Zarqawi, what a pathetic loser...

Posted by: tom at May 4, 2006 11:37 PM

Looks like zarkawi needs to go on weight watchers. Looks like he eating too many carbs. I guess beheading people and blowing women and children up doesn't burn many calories.

"The Military has released video show Zarqawi unable to work his gun... You can view it here:"

I want to see a video of Chaney shooting his lawyer friend in the face.

Oh steve, you know I was talking about you! There are no other communist anti-semites on this site who know absolutely nothing about the real world.

You can hide behind the "oh, I'm anti-zionist not anti-semite", but your true colors will always show through. If it were up to you, Tel Aviv would be scorched in a nuclear explosion launched by Iran. It seems you have no clue about what is going on in the real world, and it seems you don't want to know.

One of the reasons I post my opinions on this site is because I care very much about what is happening to your country. I sympathize with the all the problems your citizens are facing. It would be my fondest wish to have the USA regain the admiration & respect in once held. If you ask around, I am sure, people from other countries feel the same way.

Okay so the joke begins Cheney and Zarqawi go on a hunting trip......

Posted by: Ash [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 5, 2006 01:09 PM

Yes, they are thinking in their heads, I hate Bohnam, Tx. I wish all the families there that farm would be ingulfed by the flames of allah. They aren't flooding here and opening up fire in malls across America, 19 people hijacked 4 airplanes, nothing more. There are plenty of people like Tim McVeign but we don't live in fear of anti-government militants. Don't overestimate or underestimate. Just look at what it is. I'm not saying these guys shouldn't be pursued and killed or captured, but I don't think we need a cannon to kill a mosquito.

Posted by: steve [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 5, 2006 05:28 PM

I understand that if howard dean steps down as head of the dnc, zarkawi is the front runner.

Posted by: james allegro at May 5, 2006 07:15 PM

This video is silly. This almost make Zarqawi look like an incomptent fool. He amd his organization need to be displayed for what they are. They are a very powerful enemy who is capable of defeating the United States of America. This is especially so when their state supporters, scuh as Russia, China, Iran, and Syria are factored in. Steve, this is no mosquito. This is an enemy who is capable of overthrowing the USA. We should treat it as such. While doing so, we need to keep a close eye on their state supporters. This is where I think the Bush administration is going wrong. They understand that Al Qaeda is a threat. They understand that Iran and Syria are major threats. Russia and China are the primary supporters of Iran and Syria. This is no accident. The threat posed by Russia and China is not being publically acknowledged. I don't know if the administration gets this.
