Construction Begins at Ground Zero

All I can say is "it's about time."

Actually... I will add that while I can't say I'm thrilled with the proposal for Ground Zero, I'm glad the bickering is over. I think it was shameful how long its been with nothing happening there.

Ground Zero;
In my opinion, two new Towers need to be built there, taller & better, Don Trump style. For the memorial, a stone wall in the lobby of each Tower with the names of those that died there.
This is the best piece of real estate in New York, doing anything else shows that they won.
Only building some kind of monument would be a monument for them also. They will say, “look what we did, and that is our monument for it”. It would show that we don’t have the guts to build towers there again.
This should have been done as soon as it was all cleaned up. Every day that we have waited is just another day gone by showing that they won.

BillC, I completely agree. All I can add is to say REBUILD THE TOWERS, REBUILD THE TOWERS, REBUILD THE TOWERS.
