Via The Wall Street Journal that
The number of U.S. workers filing initial claims for unemployment benefits fell more sharply than expected last week, suggesting that underlying job fundamentals remain strong. Initial jobless claims declined by 10,000 to a seasonally adjusted 303,000 in the week ended April 15, the Labor Department said Thursday. [...] Still, both the level of claims and the four-week average are consistent with solid employment gains. The latest week's claims data includes the survey period used to compile the April jobs report.

Right on,
Jobless numbers are down, more people than ever before have jobs, but Jerry Falwell lost his Supreme Court appeal. How ya gonna spin that one Matt?
(Just thought I'd save the moonbats the trouble of changing the subject, okay?)

It's great unemployment is down, we all know just how acurate those numbers are, right?
By the way, I just landed a great new job in manufacturing, I make hamburgers at a fat-food joint.

I hate to keep doing this (not really) but no matter what economic statistic you throw out, America is not buying it. Here is the latest poll results from FOX News (so try to marginalize the results with the usual “bias liberal polling” crap):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,192468,00.html
“Americans are more than twice as likely to rate the nation’s economy negatively as positively. Nearly 3 in 10 rate economic conditions as either "excellent" (6 percent) or "good" 22 percent, while the widespread consensus is gloomier: about 4 in 10 say the economy is "only fair" (42 percent) and another 30 percent say it is in "poor" shape.”
Now that gas is at $3.00 and rising, the mood will only get worst, and since Republicans control ever branch of the government, and they have done nothing to solve our energy problems, guess who gets blamed?

One less CIA worker employed. What good is this economy?

Barney,
Isn't it funny how when you give these guys the equvalent of a factual kneeing to the groin (actually here you've given multiple repeated knees to the groin like in the movie Dumb and Dumber I believe it was) then you don't here back from them.
I guess its hard to get up when you're in the fetal position barfing and in pain all at once. Yeah maybe that's what happened to Matt.
