Let the nut roll on out of our country along with Baldwin and ol' cindy-run-her-lips!!

"Which might as well be titled "Let's Roll Over (To The Terrorists)."
Yeah, because if we criticize the president, the terrorists have already won.
Is it so hard to understand that one can be for ending the threat of terrorism to the US and the rest of the world and think that how, when and why we invaded Iraq was and is detrimental to that end?
Apparantly this is a hard concept for some people to grasp.
Keep on rockin' in the free world.

Has Neil Young ever learned to sing? He seems to have made a career of whining into a microphone.

Tom - you second post was your smartest one yet.
"." - Brilliant. The whole Democratic party agenda summed up in one puntuation mark.

Neil Young is still alive?

Yea, you guys have more pull than a successful music artist.

"Neil Young is still alive?"
Yeah, aside from successfully recovering from a brain aneurysm last year, he put out a new album and a film.
Of course, his "Let's Roll" and cover of "Imagine" were two of the most popular 9/11 tributes.
Now he has this album coming out. He's been very busy. Trying to paint him as irrelevant ain't gonna work.

What have the Republican Right got against free speech? I just don't know why you folks are so willing to give up your inherent freedoms to support this person. Most of the world is dumbfounded at the ilogical loyalty you sheep show for idiot Bush.

Neil Young supported Bush and the Patriot Act. He sees the world in a contrarian way and writes his music that way.
Don't push him aside as just some crazy lefty because he most definitely is not.

Neil Young is just echoing in music what is becoming a rallying cry of free thinking citizens.
The sound of dissent is getting louder & louder.

I used to love Ted Nugent until I learned he was a gun nut. Now won't have any of his cd's in my house. So I understand how the tighty-righties might react to a progressive artist.
I also can't stand Charlton Heston, Tom Cruise, and Dennis Miller.
CSNY: One of the best bands ever.

Canadian,
I've listened for that sound of dissent...it mostly seems to be a whiney, female voice in a ditch in Crawford...

Right to Free Speach? We're not advocating that his album be banned. We are just calling him an asshole and saying we won't buy it. We are exercising OUR freedom of speech. Got that eh?

To paraphrase a well-known reaction to Neil Young many years ago... with love and respect to Lynyrd Skynyrd:
Well I heard mister Young sing about her
Well, I heard ole Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
America don't need him around anyhow!
It's not the first time he's come out with controversial positions within his art form.
He's just a gnat on the wall, no need to get our panties in a wad...

Lynyrd Skynyrd, another great band. The Allman Brothers. Along with the great southern writers, a place of great creativity.
Now if they just hadn't done that lynching stuff...
