Second Kerry Candidacy Looks To Be In The Works

''There's a very different John Kerry now who is absolutely crystal clear about how I communicate what I need to communicate. . . ." Uh, right:

WASHINGTON -- As Senator John F. Kerry prepared to make a return to presidential-style politics with a classic day of New Hampshire campaigning, he said that the 2004 run left him tougher and more eager to fight.

''When you get knocked on your ass and lose a race, you've got to stop and reflect on what you're doing, why you're doing it, what matters, and what's important. And I did," Kerry said in an interview in his Senate office on Thursday. ''There's a very different John Kerry now who is absolutely crystal clear about how I communicate what I need to communicate. . . . People are going to be looking for leadership."

Kerry's efforts to launch another presidential bid have prompted grumbling from some Democrats, who question whether a second Kerry candidacy would be good for the party -- or even realistic. Some party insiders expect that leading fund-raisers and strategists will push Kerry out before the race starts, in favor of a fresh face for a party desperate to retake power.

But in most respects, the Massachusetts Democrat has never stopped running for president. He has maintained an aggressive financial operation that, since the end of the last campaign, has raised nearly $4 million for Democrats in races across the country, and has sent $3 million of his own campaign funds to help other candidates.

Pssst! Senator, if you want to make yourself look like a serious candidate, the first thing you might want to do less of are the photo-ops with Senator Ted Kennedy. Just a thought ;)

In other presidential campaign news - this time on the other side of the aisle - the Southern Republican Leadership Conference was held this weekend. Senator John McCain pulled off what had should easily be called the most bizarre stunt of the weekend when he asked his supporters to write in President Bush's name -- in a straw poll of potential 2008 presidential candidates. Read more about it at Drudge's site.

If I had a gun to my head, and had to vote for either Hillary or Kerry, I'd just shoot...
no seriously I would take Hillary. And not because I like her or would even vote for her against (INSERT REPUBLICAN NOMINEE HERE.)
I just believe Kerry is the most unsincere, double talking, unaccomplished nominee the Democrats have put up there in my 44 years. Walter Mondale was a superior candidate, IMO.

Message to "I-don't-fall-down" Kerry: PLEASE RUN!! America needs a president who regularly curses to make a point! America needs a guy who was intuitive enough to take an 8 milimeter camera to war to set the stage right for a possible run at the White House on down the road provided you marry wealth to carry your rear-in.

The one thing I can say with passion about Kerry is he's more sickening that even Ted Kennedy! The latter knows he'll never be president; the former thinks he's entitled to it. Ain't no mucked up democrat gonna win in 2008. You people stay away. The only House you deserve is Riker's Island!

Wow, David, pretty passionate there. Sticke around; we need you here at B4B.

Funny, I was driving to pick up some food last night, and being Saturday night, about the only good talk-radio on happened to be C-Span. I turned it on, and there was a Democrat fund-raiser going on in Nashua, NH. Kerry was the scheduled guest speaker. The speaker who was on before Kerry, some doom-and-gloom young Donk, called Kerry "Senator Kennedy." I thought it was a bit amusing, and though I didn't catch what Lurch said to the speaker, he seemed not to mind being mistaken for the great Swimmer.

I got home before Lurch made it to the dias; I didn't bother turning on C-Span when I got into my house. Why spoil my meal?

Talk about a monsterous ego, to match the 'wallet
of his wife, Ta-ray-sa. Wow, this treasonist/liar
who knows a thing or two about "aiding and abetting the enemy" should run, and get his ass kicked to the curb AGAIN. I for one, will still
post his picture online, where he is being congratulated at the Viet Cong Museum, by them, for helping them defeat their enemy-America. THIS
ass, still thinks he has some chance? No way in Hell. Those lies, and his pix in that museum, and the fellow soldiers that he smeared with his
treasonist lies before Congress will follow him
"The rest of his luxurious life-thanks to TaRaysa!

This could be salutory for all parties. The SBV4T has said that if Kerry returns they will as well. The slander of the Swifties as liars, while not exactly a mainstream meme is a precious precious to the partisan Dems, Hard Left and otherwise. If Hill or any other Donkey needs to sink Kerry good and all, they will add their imprimatur to the Swifties in some subtle fashion et voila! Kerry's finally gets it through his thick head that it ain't gonna happen, Vietnam vets generally get some much deserved payback on the man most responsible for their image problems and the Democrats have to get serious on the war and other things. Clarity of SOME kind will be demanded because of the Kerry lesson, even in the Dem primaries. As much as I disdain the Dems, any political patriot has to see that a competent, sane and candid Democratic party is a necessity for American long-term political health. Of course reducing Kerry to a smoking crater (electorally) is a necessity but a first step merely.

Almost forgot to add this: Do you think the egoist/treasonist WILL finally get around to exposing that 180?form? about HIS DISCHARGE?

This guy, has done so much that is phony-along with capturing his own images on camera(which I'm
pretty sure, no one did this to such a degree) and
has so many "unanswered questions", that have NOT
been sufficiently answered to date.
