Must be a pup tent.
The Windsor Democratic Town Committee, in a 34-2 decision, approved a resolution calling for a vote of no confidence in Lieberman, D-Conn., for embracing Bush's position on the war, including denying that the United States wrongly entered the war and that it was not accomplishing the objectives set out by the president
Joe, come over to the GOP, we have plenty of room in our tent. We actually like doing whatever it takes to protect this country. Just like you.
Is Tuesday OK with you?

Once again the left proves how intolerant they are to anyone who doesnt think exactly like them on every little thing. Everytime you think you have seen it all on the left they do something even more ridiculous. I may not agree with all Joe Lieberman stands for as a Democrat at least he has the balls to stand up for America unlike the rest of the lunatics on the left. We can trade Arlen Spector and Chaffee and a few other rinos for Lieberman. We would still be the winners in that trade

Do you really want Senator Lieberman? You do know he voted against the "Tax Relief Act" on May 23, 2001. Which is more important to you, your defense or your money?

Once again - Joe Lieberman is a hand wringing liberal -his sticht is to fence sit for the spotlight - He gave up his priciples on the spot when Gore selected him for VP. He supports partial birth abortion -voted against Alito and supports the Iraqi war (WOT) only because he is a staunch orthodox Jew and a strong supporter of Israel -we have enough RINOs - There is little difference between a big tent and the dems party of different special interests. If a party has priciple we don't need any chameleon warriors.
If we are nothing but pragmatists without principle then we should all merge into one big happy tent.

Leiberman ought to simply switch sides since he's more of a republican than a Dem anyway

I challenge some one with a conservative bent to listen to the most recent episode of NOW/PBS and explain to me how you can continue to support this administration and its reasons for going to war.

Jodi-
I love how you say, "Once again the left proves how intolerant they are to anyone who doesnt think exactly like them on every little thing." Then turn around and say, "We can trade Arlen Spector and Chaffee and a few other rinos for Lieberman." So you are saying that the left is horribly intolerant, then say that you want to get rid of Republicans that don't go party-line?
Does anyone else see the double standard here?

NOW... with Bill Moyer. Yes, that is quite a challenge. Why don't you give us the highlights? I'm sure they are persuasive to anyone who doesn't know what the hell has been going on for the last five years.
Anyhow...
The real crack-up on this to me is that this agglomeration of 36 people from a tiny state seem to think this declaration is of some great moment. Are they generating a primary challenge to Lieberman? If not, this is no more than a burp. As Rahm Emmanuel was distressed to hear last week, the Democrats on the ground don't think that elections are the dispositive factor in these matters. What is, they cannot say but they are certain that they are right and will be vindicated in the long term. Man, Jim Carrey couldn't come up with anything more hilarious than that.

it's sad that the scoop jackson dems are completely marginalized in the once-great party that defeated the facists.
national security is the reason that this indie voter can no longer select dems at the federal level...even tho I will vote for them at the state & local level.
