The Left Still Trying To Rewrite History

We noted last week that Democrats have ignored the findings of three independent reports which concluded that there was no manipulation of prewar intelligence and they want to rewrite history...

Well, they're still at it... and the media seems willing to help them...

Haven't we seen enough of this? Democrats, such as John Edwards, are saying that they'd not have voted in support of the war had they known what they know now... As if that is supposed to absolve them in the eyes of the radical left wing. Yet according to them, Bush is the liar and the manipulator for saying the same things they did a few years ago. Edwards was on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), as was John Kerry and Jay Rockefeller... They voted for the war. They had access to the same intelligence Bush relied upon to make the decision to go to war.

It's no different than the Patriot Act, and No Child Left Behind... Democrats and Republicans both supported these... until election season came around, and the Democrats had to make a choice. They chose to change their minds, oppose the Patriot Act (which they helped write and pass), oppose No Child Left Behind (which they helped write and pass), and oppose the war (which they voted for and many spoke strongly in favor for)...

The Democrats will stop at nothing to rewrite history and divide America... I guess for them it's easier to rewrite history and blame Bush for everything than it is come up with their own ideas...

GOP Bloggers linked with Democrats Now Claim To Be Against Leaking Classified Information
Considering their lack of outrage over the leak of a classified terrorist surveillance program designed to keep us safe, I find it strange that Democrats expect us to believe they are actually against leaking classified information. Naturally, they too...

They're without moral character and can only fight from the sewer. That's not a pleasant place to be but in order to win, the fight must be taken to them on their home turf.

Matt,

It goes beyond mere political opportunism. Some of Senator Rockefeller's pre-Iraqi invasion shennanigans may have compromised our intentions and allowed Saddam Hussein to hide any WMD or infastructure for creating same..

..taken in total: the accusations that Bush lied, the sorrowful and (almost) seditious criticism of our efforts in the Middle East, and the demoralizing of our troops with crap like the nonsense outside of Walter Reed hospital, is well beyond the pale of responsible dissent.

The right's mantra neeeds to be , "Stop obstructing -stop lying"
No need to get into the particulars - the shallow masses follow cliche's much better than good debate or explanations.

Skunks pee in a second and it takes forever to clean it up! No one remembers the cleanup - everyone remembers the skunk pee.
The left is shameless but they are the best there is at deceiving their own!

President Bush has accomplished much so far in his presidentcy. Included among these accomplishments are exposing corruption at the UN, the liberal bias of the mainstream media has been completely exposed so much that they don't even pretend to hide it anymore and driving the left completely off the cliff. Regarding John Edwards statement, I think the hairspray is starting to affect his brain. The democratic party and the main stream media remind me of that movie- Dumb and Dumber.

The myth that Congress had access to the same intelligence as the White House has been debunked many times over.

This site has a list of five articles that debunk that myth. Of course, it could just be another big Liberal Media conspiracy.
